So, as the first discussion topic in this subforum I decided to make this one about the Japanese artists you listen to.
But, before you start listing which ones you like there is a few things you should do. NO GACKT - Gackt related reviews and other are in the main forum NO LISTS!
You should give a small review about the band or singer listed. So people can get a small idea on who the person or people are. If someone already posted one you were going to post, you can either not post it or you can post it and give a different review on it.
Example:
~Post 1~ Iceman is a three member band which consists of Michihiro, Kenichi, and Daisuke. This trio was the band that did the music for the band Nittle Grasper in the anime Gravitation.
~Post 2~ Iceman has a singer, a bassist, and a keyboardest. Michihiro is the singer, Kenichi is the bassist, and Daisuke is the keyboardest. Iceman's music is a rock techono sort of genre. In some of their music videos Daisuke is displayed playing a ketar enabling him to move around like the other two can.
See what I mean? Well, have fun talking about Jrock/Jpop!

MUCC is one of my newest favorite bands.

I saw them perform live at Otakon in Baltimore a few weeks ago, and totally fell in love with their music.
They're J-rock, and their music slightly reminded me of some of Gazette's work. The four of them are:
Tatsurou on vocals (sometimes harmonica) Miya on guitar YUKKE on bass Satochi on drums

Miyavi is the former guitarist of Due le Quartz and is now an amazing solo artist. Anyone who loves interesting crazy music and singers should listen to him, he's crazy. lol His music reflects him too... least in my opinion. His most recent album is miyaviuta-Dokuso btw, I know meeyu mentioned Miyavi but I thought he deserved a big pic like Hyde. ;p wink

Psycho Le Cemu, a japanese visual band was formed in 1999 consists of: DAISHI - Lead vocals AYA - Guitar and dance Lida - Lead guitar seek - Bass YURAsama - Drums, backing vocals and choreographer (MY favorite member, XD)The bands unique techno-rock beat and extravagant cosplay costumes has attracted J-rock and anime/game fans alike. Their music videos are theatrical and normally have storylines based off of anime and literature. Sadly, the band is no longer together due to the lead singers arrest when undergoing a urine test that resulted in possitive. He was sentenced for one year and ten months probation with a suspended sentence of three years. The band has been put on hiatus (though, its thought to be permanent) since and the rest of the band mates have created side projects; Aya and Seek are in a band called ISABELLE and YURAsama and Lida are in a two man band called Dacco. Though their not around anymore, listen to their music and look up their awesome cosplay costumes. We can still keep them alive if we continue to listen to their music and hopefully, one day, they’ll come back and take their place in the J-rock world again. biggrin

GHOST-(clockwise from left) Zero, Kisara, Yura, Hisui, and Kousei I've just started listening to this band, and I'm flippin' crazy about them. ^^ They're a pretty new visual kei band, formed in 2004. They've got a dark, and beautiful sound. The lineup: Kousei-vocals Hisui-guitar Yura-guitar Zero-bass Kisara-drums Seriously, I think they're gonna be the next big thing. http://www.myspace.com/ghostfandom <---just a fanpage, but it's got some of thier songs on there.

huh... never saw this... oh buddha... if i had to list them... it would be a little long... from my perspective. but let's just skim the surface, my top 10. lol!
1. the GazettE (an extreme must for me) 2. Kagrra, 3. Miyavi 4. SUG 5. Kaya (gothic lolita techo drag queen... and one hell of a good one he is!) 6. Kra 7. D=OUT 8. Dir en Grey (eh~... some hits and misses for me, but they are good.) 9. [_Vani;lla] (only one song from them i like, but i like them nonetheless.) 10. Screw (new experiment... let's see if they can grow on me over time.)
if anyone notice... #1,2,3,4,6 & 10 are all from PSCompany. Ah~ if only Alice Nine would grow on me... then it would be complete. (^0^)
