Ok just wondering because i really don't like Shigure. i used to find him funny but now all i can see him as is a manipluative pervert.
I'm probarly going to be killed for saying that but it's true,
So do people agree or do they think i'm just a freak?
Also those who have read the manga will have seen more of his manipulative side than those who have only watched the anime.
keep that in mind if you're going to flame me.

The perverted idea only really came from the anime, he's nothing near perverted. He only uses his happy side as a cover for what he's really like. Remember the anime is horribly flawed and gives a poor representation of the characters.
After he spoke to Hatori the last chapter he was in, I think he's kind hearted in a way, but has just done things a little wrong.
He did everything he's done for Akito and the others including himself, but the way he's done it has made him seem like somewhat of a bad person. If he'd told Tohru from the start that he planned on using her to break the curse then maybe we wouldn't think of him as being manipulative.
Even he himself says he would've done things a little differently, probably in hope of sparing some of them the heartache that's happened over the series.
In the end it really was him alone that helped to start breaking the curse, after all he was the one to convince Akito to let Tohru stay wiht them in the begining, so although he's come off as being manipulative I think most people have overlooked his ultimate plan of freeing them from the curse.

My believe is that he IS a perfect, but also very helpful...but I'm not sure who's side he is on.

I always liked him more because he does know how to manipulate people to get what he wants, and has no qualms about it. I like him best when he's talking to Akito - he is always talking about a different thing than Akito himself is.

Shigure...He's one of my favourite characters. He may be slightly perverted sometimes but overall I think he's a nice and funny person. :3

my main problem with him is you never know which side he's on.
i think he switches depending on his mood.
besides dogs are supposed to be loyal right? (not sure if this applies to the zodiac dog)
if dogs are loyal why is Shigure loyal to no one except himself?
and his poor editor.
