with the CGI proxy, please use an FTP client or someone else's CGI proxy surprised

If you don't have an FTP client (highly unlikely) or don't know how to use one, that's okay. All the links on this page go through my CGI Proxy anyway so you can use your regular browser (although nearly all browsers can use the FTP protocol). If you want to download faster, more efficiently, and put less stress on my server, just use ftp://ghost:shell@the1joebob.no-ip.org. mant FTP clients can resume broken downloads which is also a plus. (I recommend FileZilla or SmartFTP)

IMPORTANT: My CGI proxy uses a max request size limit, dramatically reducing file sizes! You will have problems downloading large files via CGI Proxy. Songs will appear to be previews. The links on this page are only to show you and because Gaia doesn't like non-http:// links. I urge you to simple paste ftp://ghost:shell@the1joebob.no-ip.org in your browser's URL bar. Nearly everything is also available via http if you know where to look, like in /music/ or /download/

I'm going to start torrenting more stuff tonight. I've delete a ton of my files, but I still don't have much room. I'll need to delete more if I am to continue. I'll need to delete the extracted file from the GITS 2nd GIG Archieve. This is only a problem to people that want to download individual episodes that they might have missed. If you are one of these people, please download them ASAP. Tomorrow night (May 15, around 10pm) I'll be deleting every file in the /series/ folder that isn't being transfered. As long as you start the transfer before I start deleting, I won't delete that file untill all transfers on that file are finished. After they're gone, you'll just have to download the whole archieve and extract the episodes you want yourself (actually a better choice for those that want all of the episodes). If you were under a rock somewhere and were too late to download individual files, I have good news for you. I sent the files to my friend who also has a FileZilla server running. ( ftp://public:gogaia@aok.bounceme.net/Anime/Ghost_In_The_Shell_SAC_2nd_GIG_01-26_(LMF) ) I should warn you though, many of the files were sent over the unreliable radmin file transfer protocol, so a few of the files may contain errors, also remember that this is a 3rd Party server, and you should be careful. stay in the GITS folder and don't wander off or you might find trouble wink
I'lll be downloading season one now. It will take a few days. The episodes are in Matroska MKV format, so you might want to download and install the codec while you wait. I'm only getting about 3kb/s down on average (out of 8.68GB), so this will take a very long time.
The good news is that after I get rid of the individual 2nd gig eps, I'll have enough space to add more stuff cool
EDIT: I'll be deleting one episode roughly every 2 hours on average, sometimes serveral at a time, beginning with the earliest episodes. If you want to download individual episodes, now is the time wink
I just deleted a bunch of my stuff so I have 3 gigs of space left. I'll delete GITS:SAC 2ND GIG EP1 when I get down to 1, or before I go to sleep, whichever comes first.

Why not just buy the seasons themselves. I don't remember if they were expensive when I bought both, but I know that it would decrease the stress on people's computers. cheese_whine
