I've had a dream where I morphed into three different animals: Racoon, Black Hawk and a large black cat searching for something/ someone. Dose that count as anything or do you have to be chased and eatten by an animal? o_O

Soriana Leo I've had a dream where I morphed into three different animals: Racoon, Black Hawk and a large black cat searching for something/ someone. Dose that count as anything or do you have to be chased and eatten by an animal? o_O alot of people have shifting dreams. but that dosent nessiclarly mean your a therian. i have still to find out myself, i have been wondering for over a year now. almost two.

Suppose I'm not a Therian, but I do know this. spirits love to talk with me. ^_^ thats awesome that you so connected with your totem anmial. some people arent, i am still searching for what my totem anmial is. i think its either a fox or a wolf. cool! ^^ i love cyperhing codes and figuring out the deeper meaning of things. im just not sure. i dont think i seem wolf like, i am not very social, and i dont love my family. im more solitary, with a few close friends. i just love anmials alot. i think fox is more likley for me beacuse of its cunning and trickery. but i dont know.

Soriana Leo Sometimes, you can have many totems at a time, thats what happened to me first. I used to have three others, but when they were done helping me they went away and White Wolf stayed with me. If your totem is a Wolf, I'll warn you now, they are very cryptic in answering a question and telling you what needs to be done to correct something. ~laughs~ Try having a dragon as your guide. You want cryptic then they have riddles galore for you. stare
As for the topic at hand, I suggest you look into the world of 'OtherKin', which goes hand in hand with this one. OtherKin believe that their very soul is not the human they appear to be, that it is not limited by the physical and once free of their body it can soar as another animal, beast, or being. Some are born through reincarnation, some are cohabitating with their kin type, some aren't real sure. But they know that deep inside they are literally something else.
There are a lot of Therianthopes in the OtherKin community, so if you're looking for more infomation on either Therians or Lycan(thrope)s* they're full of information. Though 90% of both are Wolves or Wolf-Subtypes, that can't be helped. Popularity demands that you be Were-WOLF, it happens, but occasionally you can find other types. And most of them aren't as bad as most people think they are, they don't cause havok every full moon, eat people, etc etc. Most are normal everyday humans who just feel a deeper connection to an animal/beast/being than a normal human does.
But yeah, there's my two cents. *Therians and Lycan's are two different things.
