The gods are at war. You, the player, must take the control of the goddess, Valkyrie, and search the world for fallen warriors and train them to be sent above to Odin to help in the war above. VP is VERY character-intensive. Perfectionists, stay away from it or prepare to be sucked into it for months, if not a couple of years. >_>;
I don't quite understand the system myself. I watched my cousin playing it a while back. =)

Norse by Northwest

I just finished Star Ocean a few days ago. sweatdrop I only just got a week and a half ago. Im relatively new to the RPG scene with the PS.

The very mention of Star Ocean makes me wince in remembered shame.
I believe it was SOIII... I actually DIED in the second tutorial battle. I died in a tutorial battle!! :angry: xd

i got this game for psp. it is in my opinion very sweet. the combat system feels new and unique for an rpg to me.
i heared the ps2 one didn't go over so well... anyone know about that?

Yeah, I played both those games. I liked them both. I liked Silmeria better for its character depth and all the twists, but Loki was only seen on the Lenneth version. He made a great bad guy....
