((Not too far from behind the tower,
did a garden start a'growin'. By the kitsune's hand
the flowers started showin'. This is where she resides to remember her belle mere,
still wishing, still waiting,
if her bell mere
was there..))

Sonar wandered back to the tower, her mind flushing with with maternal thoughts. Not of her, of course, but of what she had before.
The little garden she had set up didn't seem to fair very well. It seemed mother earth in this case was just barely passing by, no matter how much time she put into it. This little slice of life was set up similar to a dressing room. Roots and vines extended around the man-made placements, holding them tight and firm, securely. There was, also, a small picture held upon what seemed to be a chair. A portly woman, graced with short, curly hair, chocolately skin, and and an elaborate robe. She appeared to be smiling, what with the smile on her face, and the little girl she held in her arms.

Testament was leaning against a nearby solid of plant life, he'd just appeared before Sonar had wandered into view. He lifted his head when he could tell she was in what would be his line of vision. "Sonar, I really don't mean to intrude, but you come here often and return to the tower with a heavy head. Might I know what troubles you so much?" He asked almost pleadingly. His face revealed no emotion, but it was not one to show a threat either.

"Hn?" Cascading, crimson hair matted to an ovuline head lobbed over to Testament. "This is where my mother lives. I take care of her, her memory, and spend some time here," she replied with a smile.

"You see, Testament," she began, that childish smile fading away,"My mother still lives....it's just hard for me to talk to her sometimes. I wish she could have been longer with me, but things happen for a reason. Without her, I could have never ended up here, and away from my family."

Testament let a breath out slowly as his bangs waved back and forth with a slight shaking motion from his head. "I take it she's in the lower class, you speak with her directly?" He asked with the same non-threatening tone. "It's no matter, master Homicide Party doesn't seem to mind whatever you do. Even I am allowed to stroll the streets of the lower class." Testament said, standing on his own now and moving towards Sonar. "If I could take the suffering of this world away I would, but I must make comprimises to satisfy Homicide Party and... Negative Zero.." He uttered the last words with difficulty, but quickly regained composure. "What would you wish of this world, Sonar?" Testaments senses seemed to almost press the feeling of their presence on Sonar.

"Me? ...I'm not certain. I have almost everything at my grasp, but I don't want it....riches, clothes, jewelry, I don't really care for it. But what I'd really like is to see my mother again. She's not a part of the Lower Class. We lived outside this land.....I just came here as a mewling, it seems, but I don't think I'll see her again until after my dying day. What do you want in the world, Testament? Why would you want to take away suffering?" Her head moved back to the picture in a slow, sluggish manner.

Testament let his neck throw his head to either side very slowly as he spoke. "Well, you see, I agree with Homicide Party. People are, at nature, evil. However it is after this point in reasoning that our veiws seperate, I do not believe that it is their fault. Humanity is a victim of its' own ability to reason, and over time they cannot help but become corrupt. If I could simply wash away the dark desires that drive people, I believe that we truly could live in peace." Testament sighed slowly after his monologue, but didn't wait long to continue speaking. "And your mother, you will see her someday, and if it can be helped I promise it will be in this existance. Someday we will venture out, at that time I am sure that Homicide Party will help you to find your mother. We owe you that much." Testament ended with a graceful smile aimed at Sonar.

"Do you really think all humans are evil, Testament? I don't think that's true....." Dainty fingers reached out for the picture, taking it and holding it close to her. From the bottom of her headband drizzled out a teary flurry. Those eyes that remained closed saw back into the past. Every moment she recalled her mother spending with her, that's what she could see. The scents, the weather, the flowers...everything was there. But something took her back to the pleasant present. It wasn't everything she wanted, but she couldn't complain. It was better than swiping food and ducking from the guards, let alone the wrath of Homicide Party. Her body quivered; the cub was shivering from the cold......

Testament's smile faded as he sensed that Sonar had begun to weep. He could tell that what she had reached for was a frame, but he could only derive that it held a picture of her mother. "No, there are a few that I believe lack not reasoning, but the tendency give in to desire, avarice. Your mother was probably a wonderful one, who wanted not for herself but you. I have respect for you and my formed view of your mother is reflected of that, but in this place, it is only your memory that can bid for was she truly was." Testament took a step forward after finishing. "You're shivering, is there something wrong? I don't believe it's that cold out, but..." Testament paused for a moment, he snapped his fingers to produce a jet black sheet. "...if that is what it is, you should use this. I only use it for show in any case." He said as he held the large cloth forward to offer it.

"No, no....it's okay," she replied to the near-angelic figure. Her hands released the photograph and pushed the cape to him, reassuringly. "I appreciate it, but this is my own battle. I must fight it..."

Testament withdrew the cape and with a flick of his wrist it disappeared back into his hand. "Yes, I understand, but if you are in need of someone to talk to I will be around." Testament began to retreat towards the tower, but turned for a moment. "Don't stay out too long, rain is refreshing, but even we catch colds." He said with a smile before turning back on his way.

"No, that's okay. Maybe a little wash will bring me back to my senses, eh," she returned the smile, winking. Her metal eyes looked down to her mother, who looked back at her with that placid, content expression since the moment it was etched in time.

The rain came. It danced, drizzling at first. Some of the drops smacked against her silver, shielding eyes. She sat in the same spot, unmoved. Lukewarm tears mingled with drops above, disappearing the watery orbs of sorrow that fell from her cheeks. Just then, she rose, shaking off the wares of the world. Sonar's cheerful smile surfaced while she placed the photograph where it belonged. She turned around, walking back to the tower, for once, feeling not so alone.
