The black cloud that had covered Dragonfire and Crow went completely unnoticed to the two until the new terrain was already visible. There did not seem to be a sky, but rather a writhing barrier of red and black liquid. The ground was like onyx with cracks of red, and it was only a few miles of actual ground that the two stood on. The rest was an abyss of a seemingly limitless new dimension. Negative Zero left them here to resume their battle, whilst others would commence their own.

Crow's eyes had adjusted to the new settings slowly, and he was just beginning to realize the change. Crow had never expected the attack to hit Dragonfire, it seemed his psychic blasts were instantaneos. However he was surprised that Dragonfire would have the daring to attack with not only physicaly, but so blatantly head on. However, as it was a physical attack, Crow would have no problem with it. "Ace Reverse!" Crow shouted as he easily parried the punch to the side, and at the same time threw an extremely powerful elbow thrust into Dragonfire's stomach, the impact creating a visible shockwave through the air.

Crow was just drawing his elbow back when he felt the psychic blast. "Grahrg!" He yelled as a searing pain began to envelop his mind. He could barely think as he struggles to build energy inside. Then just as Dragonfire kicked off, which did nothing to even move Crow, he threw down his arms and a familiar flash was emmited from his body as he wailed. "Kikou!" After the light settled Crow refocused himself and noticed that Dragonfire had just began a new attack, and naturally it looked to be composed of energy. Luckily the blast had caused no physical damage, though Crow would be careful not to allow another slip-up like that. Crow began a blinding dash towards the point where Dragonfire would land as he built ki for a counter attack.

Crow had continued his dash towards Dragonfire until he saw the movement of his hands. Crow already knew that the motion wouldn't be throwing the energy at him, so he decided on an evasive move. Throwing his foot into the ground Crow broke up large rocks as he reversed his momentum, throwing him backwards at an even faster rate than his dash. Crow saw the energies combine to create a massive, powerful shockwave. He continued to move back until the blast had spread a considerable distance, then threw his fist straight towards Dragonfire. "Banri Senken!" Then a small but powerful stream of ki cut through the energies creating a funnel of safety where Crow stood, and at the same time continued to appraoch Dragonfire at a speedy pace.

Now that the two were in their own arena, however dangerous it might be, Crow was having a great time. However he still had the resolve to defeat Dragonfire, and with this goal he wasted no time. Crow made yet another dash towards Dragonfire, this one at full speed, meaning that even at the distance that Crow had to retreat, he would reach Dragonfire in a split second. And during this short time Crow's body took on a noticable aura of his usual light blue ki.

Crow had planned to hit Dragonfire straight on, but now that his target was in mid-air, he saw another oppurtunity. Still holding the aura of ki around his body Crow came to a halt and wasted no time in jumping straight up to intercept Dragonfire. He took on a familiar form as he stared up at Dragonfire with a look of anticipation in his eyes.

In the incredibly small amount of time it took him to reach Dragonfire Crow chuckled in his mind. "Thought so... Backlash Upper!" He yelled as the energy that once enveloped him not only broke through the barrier that was just formed, but also gave him one last burst of blinding speed. Taking the counter-attack advantage, Crow smashed his elbow into Dragonfire with bone crushing force, which threw Dragonfire up and Crow to the ground. However, instead of his usual 'Aerial Rave', he had to settle for less. Before he hit the ground Crow threw his palm up towards Dragonfire which released a familiar beam of energy. "Banri Senken!" He was thrust to the ground even faster, brely managing to stay standing when he hit the ground. It was short for a beam type attack but it hit Dragonfire with a resounding explosion.

Crow watched Dragonfire hit the ground and watched him with anticipation. Then after only a moment the dust was cleared by a force. Crow was taken off guard, he hadn't expected such a quick retaliation. Relying simply on his reactions he threw both hands up over his head, built ki with a frantic pace, then threw his arms down just in time to create a small barrier just strong enough to hold back the beam. His arms quaked with the urgent quick-call that had been forced upon them. Crow was only kept in such a state for a few seconds before he had refocused on the battle.
