General History
Little is known about the Unknown Regions beyond the Outer Rim of the galaxy. All that has ever been found out about them has been brought in by emissaries from them...Force users of great strength and amazing abilities. For some of them, their powers stretch the imagination of even the most believing person.
For a great time, the center of the Unknown Regions was the planet of Daschen, home to the Jedi Temple that spawned such amazing beings. Daschen was a unique planet, even to the Regions, because all of its indigenous inhabitants were immortal, dying only if actively killed.
The Masters, Jedi, and Padawans of the Temple there were unique also. For aeons and aeons, theirs was the only Temple that contained incorruptible Jedi. None had ever Fallen to the Dark Side of the Force.
An assignment of a Padawan from within the Inner Planets to train at the Temple in Daschen, in order to learn their secrets proved the Temple's undoing, for the student was corrupt from within. He did Fall to the darkness, founding the Dark Jedi Temple on Daschen.
Soon, users from all over the Unknown Regions were Falling to darkness, swelling the numbers of the Dark Temple far beyond anyone could ever have imagined, for the lure of ultimate power was strong with the people. The Dark Jedi destroyed the Light Temple, slaughtering all but Hetzon himself, who was at the time only a padawan, and who was saved by an unknown ally. This was more than 600 years before this guild.
For 100 years and more, the people of the Unknown Regions lived in darkness and terror, hoping only that the Darkness would not claim another. After a time, an alien race came to Daschen, intent on destroying the planet and all the immortals who lived there forever, for reasons unknown to this day. Once again, Hetzon escaped, aided by the same ally, whose ships all bore the insignia of the Guardian of Life and House Yggsadril of Terra, though none could have seen it at the time.
Since the destruction of Daschen, no Force Users have graced the Unknown Regions, and none have even entered the galaxy near where Daschen once stood, a place that has become known as the Fallen Realm.
Dackktan, the sister planet of Daschen, lies well within the Fallen Realm. Terra lies just on the rim of the Fallen Realm, which has been extended to include a much wider space ratio by the time of this guild.
Recent History
After having spent a considerable amount of time serving in the Temple on Naboo, defending Queen Dayana, padawan Hetzon and Knight Miaka consider themselves ready to face any challenge. However, Hetzon is limited in his mobility by his rank in the Order. For nearly 500 years he has been a padawan, and his grasp of the Force is more profound than most masters attain in their lifetime. He knows the devastation it can cause and the life it can grant. After being a part of the battle to save the Coruscant Temple from darkness, he retreats back to Naboo to be with his friends.
Shortly after the election of another woman to the position of Queen of Naboo, Hetzon receives a transmission from the newly rebuilt Coruscant Temple. It is from the Temple Master, and the Council is seated around him. He speaks:
Hetzon Madicor, it has come to our attention that you are of the Undying Race of the Daschen we thought extinct so long ago. It is said in our legend as such that you alone are incorruptible in the universe, and your race alone holds the key to balancing the Force in the favor of the Light.
It has also come to our attention that you have far exceeded the training required for promotion from Padawan to Knight, and even from Knight to Master. Therefore, we bestow onto you the honorable title of Jedi Master. Know that you have a seat among us, should you ever decide to return to Coruscant.
However, we believe it would be wise for you to journey to the region of the galaxy where your planet once stood. Since its demise, that region has known little control of the Force, and been plagued by chaos and interplanetary conflict. We would have you begin a new Temple there, to train the possibly untapped talent of those regions.
We would also have you take with you Jedi Knight Miaka Moonblossom. In the conflict that resulted in the demise of our great Temple, she proved that she too is worthy of the rank of Jedi Master. Hold her in high esteem in your council on the planet Dackktan.
We hold you both in high regard, Hetzon Madicor, last of the Daschen, and Miaka Moonblossom, high bodyguard to the former Queen of Naboo.
With that, the Master bows and the transmission ends.
Less than a week later, Hetzon, Miaka, and Dayana are preparing to leave the planet. It was decided that Dayana would accompany them to the new planet so as to avert civil war on her own. They board the interstellar cruiser provided to them by the Jedi Order and set a course for Dackktan. Several days later, they arrive to find the new Temple built by the native people. The natives are relieved to see the Jedi. Dackktan is the only planet in the region not plagued by civil wars, though they have been affected by the confrontations of other civilizations. They are overjoyed to know that the High Council on Coruscant sees fit to place Jedi so far out in the galaxy to restore order once more...
