She sung the OP and ED of the Furuba anime and sadly, she is dead. She died in 2004 from septic shock caused by blood poisoning. She was 44. This is really unfortunate. Miss Okazaki had a really angelic, beautiful voice. I think her career could've went far.

I don't think her talent was wasted. She had a couple of cd's and hits but still sad

In memory of her they released the four seasons CD. It contains her songs from Fruits Basket and some of her other works.

OH NO!! that is VERY depressing... now i'm gonna be sad every time i watch fruits basket!!!! she was a very good singer... and the mood of the songs both are perfect for fb.... i sing both of them all the time!! sad crying sad

oh...yes that is sad indeed... and so another reason why they haven't come up with the idea of airing season 2....
