I thought I'd post this here as well as the other AFO thread just in case folks didn't see it: PROJECT COSPLAY
An anime twist to the "Project Runway" show -
So you think you can Cosplay? Do you design and create your own costumes? Do your friends beg you to help them with their costumes? If you think you've got what it takes to be a Costume Designer, then bring it.
AFO is now taking submissions for Designer Contestants for Project Cosplay. We're pitting 5 pre-selected Designers against each other in a head to head battle to create the best Anime Costume which will be modeled on Sunday for all to see. That's so awesome!!!! I can't believe I missed that - thatnks for posting it biggrin It sucks though... because I model. And I wouldn't know anyone else to go to for that T-T I love costuming and designing so I really really want to find a model for this... or just do it myself... but it implies that you need to have another person as a model >_>

And I wouldn't know anyone else to go to for that T-T I love costuming and designing so I really really want to find a model for this... or just do it myself... but it implies that you need to have another person as a model >_> I've been noticing here and there that people want to be designers but don't have models while other people just want to model. I'll send a note to the coordinator of the event to see if we can hook all these folks up with one another.

I'm curious to see what the theme is going to be for this event. In my dreams, it would be Sergeant Frog heart , but that would probably be too obscure and too hard. If you got to pick, what would it be?

My friend entered and asked me to be her model; we're still waiting for an answer from them and are kinda worried that we haven't heard anything. : But even if we don't get in, I'll definitely go see it. It's an awesome idea and I'm a huge Project Runway junkie. heart

So um... what was the result of that? Did things actually work out? Do they do as they said they would?
Unlike at the AFOscars... They didn't even have the bloody Red CARPET!

Sucks, I missed out on this event, I really did want to go. The premise of the event sounded interesting anyhow. ^^
I wanted to see the AFOscars too.
I can't remember why exactly, but I know there was something that kept me from attending.. my memory is a little blurry. I think it had to do with a bit of car trouble I was having. xD
