Mary, the short, fat cook was just getting out the things needed to make breakfast for 20 youngsters of varing ages, 5 maids, one harem women and Jareth. She turned to the already full table and maged to find room for the bread.

Smiling, Mary started to patter around the kitchen and start the meal.

((Marry is an NPC, she's been in the Laby for as long as she can remember. She used to be part of Jareth's harem, but soon she grew old and started workign in the kitchen. She is now head cook.))

Aven felt as if she were surging from a dream. It was surreal. What was truth and what was false blended. She sort of stared at Jareth not really understanding what he had said. Everything was happening too fast, she hadn't won. Had she? Then why couldn't she recall arriving in the castle. All that pain... she closed her eyes.

"I'm still lost," she whispered, "there's nothing for me at home or here. They could have loved me if they wanted to couldn't have they? If they really wanted to..."

Her throat constricted and she looked at Jareth. He looked so tired, so exhausted. Immediately she remembered the stone tablet in the corridor. This was it, she had the blade against his chest. It would be thrust into him at her command. She walked up to him as if in a daze and embraced him.

"You have no power...no...those aren't the right words," she said, "I don't know anymore Jareth. I don't want to make this choice. I don't want to hurt you... you're the only one here who doesn't deserve it... you chose. Send me back or keep me here. I give you my wish."

Sky felt faint as she leaned against the gate, leading inside the castle. She Her breathing sped up. What was going on? She stayed where she was letting the dizzyness leave. "Master..." She whispered. She did love him but the servant who adored her master. What was happening? Nothing affected her this greatly unless it was affecting him to some degree.

She looked at herself. She looked her role for once, the servant. Sky had fought something she knew she'd loose too. She wasn't after Jareth's heart...

Something warm rolled down her cheeks and she wiped it away, realizing she was crying. Why?

She pushed the door open, slipping inside. She saw them embracing but felt no jealousy or hatred. Instead, she wasn't sure what she was feeling. Perhaps she had merely been protective of Jareth...

She let more tears fall as she slipped by, moving towards the staircase leading to the chambers above. Her destination was possibly her room for a hot bath before seeking Noble and the others.

Sky made it to her chambers where she slumped against the door, looking as though she'd pass out any minute. No....Can't do that. No time for rest. She shook her head as she went into her bathing room and started running the water.

While the tub filled with hot water, Sky dropped in a few beads of oil, stripping from her rather ruined clothes. She turne daround to get something from a cabinet, stopping to see her reflection in the mirror.

She looked paler then normal, the smudges of dirt and ash smudged from her tears and stuck on. Her hair was a little in disarray but still maintained it's wildness. Looking down she turned the water off and stepped in, settling into the water with breaths of relief.

The water felt good against the body, flowing and moving around her, surrounding her in its warmth. She grabbed a cloth and ran soap into it so she could scrub the grime off. She wrinkled her nose at how much dirt had actually clung to her skin....

Getting to her hair, she grabbed her shampoo and massaged it into her scalp, getting of the dirt there. She rinsed off completely, feeling better from the bath as she climbed out, wrapping her slender form in a large towel.

There was so much to do and little time. She needed to get paperwork done and she needed to help the others out with Noble. She sighed, running a comb through her curls as she stepped from the bathing room and back to her chambers.

Kaylana was sitting in the borrowed room for her little sister, appearing on the edge of the bed, brushing back Noble's hair. "How are you feeling?" She asked while they waited for Elizabeth and Reu, and for the soup to come.

Skyling finished dressing before she sauntered to the borrowed room, flanking Elizabeth as she met with her. "How's she?" She inquired softly, keeping her hands behind her back. She wasn't about to speak about the fundamentals that were possibly going on between Aven and Jareth. None of her business right?

"Shes better," Elizabeth blinked up to Sky, "But ive just come from the kitchen.... so im not sure how well shes fairing at this time. When shes done eating i told Kay i would help bathe her." sh elooked at the soup, "THis should get some warmth through her veins." She turned to Reu and smiled warmly, "King Jareth is probably still with Aven right now."

Elizabeth slowly walked in the with steaming tray, "I have three others coming up in just a moment to serve drinks and if anyones hungry i can whip up something really quick." she bussied herself to standing a tray up besides Kay, she knew the girl would want to feed her sister herself.


Noble blinked slowly when she heard people coming into the room.
"Sky? Lizzy? Uncle Reu..." she smiled weakly, "Nobles sorry if noble worried you.
