Like it says, this is a RP Academy for those who would like to learn and excel in this area. I do not expect you to become all english majors or anything, but to get something out of this. Classes will start soon when I get some teachers.

Some Basics.
1) an action is shown by using *'s. If you want to say that you punched a wall then you would type in: *your name punches a wall*
2) if you are going to say something out of character like telling everybody that you have to get off-line then put (( )) around your sentence. ex: ((g2g))
3) you cannot be in two places at once. if you leave one area then you must say so and say where you are going in a (( )) sentence. ex: ((continued in mainbuilding))

God-modding 101!
What is God-modding?
God-modding is when a person makes an action for another character without the consent of that person. However, sometimes God-modding is used to progress the storyline when that person(s) are not there; This is allowed only if the person(s) have not posted in a few days or so.
Example of God-modding in battle
"Take this! Fiery Blades!" Lion sent flamed energy blades toward *insert name here* causing them to scream in pain.
The other person might have had plan to avoid/counter this attack but I have already posted that it has hit him/her/it. The other type of God-modding looks like this.
Example of God-modding not in battle
"Cmon. We have a job to do." Lion motioned *insert name here* and walked out of the cavern with *insert same name here*.
This kind of God-modding is allowed but it has have a good reason behind it.
This concludes God-modding 101!

before you critizing others, first make sure you can spell the word clothes correctly. this is a place to learn about basic and advanced role playing, not a place to put down other people. if you need to do that, than go to the general discussion board in the gaia forums. thank you
