(( still typing on my dads comp))
My sister came home on Wendsday, lastnight we sat down and a heart to heart talk about spirits, ghosts, strange happenings, the vibes we get from others, est. As the night wore on we started talking about my vet tech carrer that I wanted to do and I suddenly realized I was no longer inetrested in it anymore.
My sister spoke up telling me I have a God Given talent and that I should use it. Its a strange occurance that someone from this guild has given me a website to a Spiritualist church AND a college/University where I can study to be a Professional Meduim. I'm going to persue becoming a Meduim and maybe even something more, my gut and instincts are tellling me to persue this.
Strange enough after we talked, my sister had said she was inlightened by the things I had said, the way I backed up my opionion with examples and things that have happened to me. I think God is still pushing me in the direction I need to go, this ladies and gentlemen is my first leap of faith.
You may comment as you please, no bumps though, thanks. ^_^

I say definitely go for it--it sounds like you have found the right path for you to pursue. No point in being a "call-dodger", now, is there? Who knows...maybe I'll run into you somewhere along the way seeing as how I'm planning on entering either the Holistic Health field (intuitive spiritual counselling) or ministry for Unity. A medium will be a very interesting and rewarding path--I wish you the best of luck!
BTW--don't you LOVE heart-to-heart chats like those? I personally have a difficult time opening up to people over spiritual matters, but when I do and that connection is made, it's astounding. heart

Wings of Aegis I say definitely go for it--it sounds like you have found the right path for you to pursue. No point in being a "call-dodger", now, is there? Who knows...maybe I'll run into you somewhere along the way seeing as how I'm planning on entering either the Holistic Health field (intuitive spiritual counselling) or ministry for Unity. That experience is happening a lot in my family with my mum, mainly, as I open up to her. She says I am her proof that God exists. So odd. I think it's because I was raised totally secular, never spoke to her about anything spiritual or religious...but then, one day, I finally opened up to her and told her my entire belief system, most of which I just intuitively held...and it matched hers almost identically. But, yes...I speak to her a lot of dreams, and now she's meeting with her spirit guide, and open to the possibilities again. It's quite nice. Power surges can be funny, but annoying as hell. If I sense an energy surge, I'll like start contacting everyone I know to make sure A) they're okay, and B) They didn't cause it. Half the time, one of them DID cause it. -__- slight connections due to empathy, I suppose. They feel it when I surge my energy when I start to channel a little, sometimes. Weird life. whee See? I have this grand idea that, if I even make it remotely in the fields I am pursuing, of holding a giant get-together. We'll all be older then, so it'd be easier. I just have to save up the funding, so perhaps, someday down the line...we could hold a giant spiritual/psychic conference/gathering. Just one of my daydreams, for some reason. Maybe I'm just picking up on something else, though.

Its so weird because all of my family is stepping up to the plate, my dad, my sister, even my mom and I are all on the same page when it comes to talking of spirits and guides. But I'm way ahead of my father and sister with being able to talk with them and see them, not only that but maybe being a slight empath. I know they still have a long ways to go, where as I was dropped in the thick of it by God. I thank Him each and every night for my gift.
My sister now knows who her spirit guide is and I know who mine is as well, mine is an animal. White Wolf, his name is Snow Fall and my sister's is a woman from WWII, her name is Janice. Cool huh? ^_^
