I'd say wires, but, there are other actors/actresses out there that I've seen do that in movies 0_<

Doctor Moonwalker They have a device in their shoes that hooks to the ground. I think it might be hooks on the stage that hook into the shoes... Actually in one of the HIStory concerts (I forget which one gonk ) One of the backup dancers kind of gets caught on the hooks blaugh It was pretty funny
