Thought it sounded appropriate.
I'm not quite sure what happened today. I think I fell asleep when I was at the park are something. But I had the most peculiar dream, and honestly I remember it so well it feels like it wasn't a dream at all. Though, that's just silly. Of course I know it was only a dream.
S'just really hard to explain, I suppose. The image is still so vivid in my head though...
At some moment everything just disappeared. Lost in the middle of nothing, stuck in the void kind of thing. And then I saw an alligator.
Now, it'd be stupid if I said it didn't look too happy. Alligators never do, right? Nevertheless, it didn't look too happy to see me.
After standing there awe struck for awhile (it felt like awhile, at least), it started approaching me. And for whatever reason, because it's beyond me, really, I crouched down and reached out for it.
It was coming at me a littly slowly at first, so then I dropped down on my knees and reached further for it. When my hand finally reached it's snout, it seemed like-and here comes the really cheesy part-I became one with it. Like, it just enfused itself within me. It was a very warm moment.
The next thing I know, a humid rush went by me, kinda moist. It was a really strange sensation... Then I woke up. Still in the park.
I know it's only a dream, but it feels like so much more.
