Somethin' I've been thinking about for a while now but never acted upon. You guys know me...always need the opinions of others. xp Anywho, I was wondering something, since the guild seems to be awfully slow, would anyone like the CAH to return to it's original thread status in Barton Town/Gaia Commerse?
I only ask because I don't want to see this place die out, at any point, and having the thread might bring in more people.
Any comments/questions/opinions would be appreciated.

Well, I rather like having this place as a guild. The thread was fun, but what would happen to all of our game and spam threads? I'd have to link to all of those places, and I'd probably end up too lazy to even do that!
Plus I've kinda gotten used to modding. I'd be sad if I didn't get to do that anymore.

I agree with Angel. Yes it's a bit slow, but there is so much more to the home now than the original thread. We have games and picture threads and all sorts of things. That does leave the question though: How can we get the word out better than simply having nametags?
EDIT: Idea idea
If we DO revert back to a thread, one thing we could do to keep it like a pseudo-guild could be to have the main home RP be like the main page, and have other threads for battles, different RPs and such. And instead of like, posting something in a sub forum here, the poster creates it wherever it is appropriate and makes sure to include a link to the main RP and tells Sunny (as I'm assuming Sunny would make the main thread if we did this) about the new thread and she includes a link in the first post of the Main rp.

Well, uh, hm. What if I switched the guild main forum with the RP subforum? Like, have the RP as the main forum again?
But we'd still need people to actually come and post. ;-; People join then never post. Kinda annoying. And I suck at advertising so if anyone's got an idea on that, do share. x-x;
I just dun want to loose the guild to idleness, that's all. We need new faces and the guild's just not doing it.

I like the guild as it is. Sure, it's slow, and not many stick around after joining. It's sad, but on the other hand, if we go back to being a thread again, we will lose all of the RP threads and spam threads and all that, and have it in the main thread instead, which will get kind of confusing. Plus, if we went back to being a normal thread again, we'd be stuck with noobs, and I just can't stand them.

Making the Main Forum the Roleplay forum sounds like a good Idea to me. It kinda brings back the whole concept of this being a roleplay guild if we do that. 3nodding
And as for people joining....I haven't accepted a lot lately because they're all n00bs, and send me whiny PM's when they aren't accepted. After a while, it gets pretty annoying to see "OmG!!1!! Y wasnt i aCcEpTeD into da GuIlD?!?!?!??!" sweatdrop If I had let them join, I'd probably be banning people right and left.

Sunny, you know how some RP threads will have a link to an OOC thread in the first post?
Well in the first post of the main RP we could have links to spam threads, game threads, and other RP threads. That way it'd still be somewhat organized like a guild, but it'd be more mainstream because each thread would advertise the home and have links to the main RP in their first post.
Does that make any sense now? sweatdrop

And I love the CAH being a guild. I just don't want it to die. xp I think when I get my laptop back next week, I'll do some more changes to the guild to make it more...friendly? Well, at least more focused on RPing, anyways.
If anyone's got any other suggestions about anything, let's hear 'em. :3

((Sorry about the deadness for a while. I've been focusing on getting a head start on cosplay for this year. ^^; An 11-month head start... >.>;))
I dunno if Kai or Angel said this, or I think they kinda hinted at this, but what if we had the Common's Room RP or the Battle Grounds in the Barton/Commerce? Everyone usually goes there, it'll attract people, we keep the link to the guild on the first post. Like "Want to spend more time with the CAH gang? Join the CAHG!" or something. sweatdrop
When there is a bunch of n00bs at the thread version, we go to the guild version. Kinda like a filter, but not really. I just hope people don't get tired of switching around from the guild to the thread...
Either way, we get to keep our fun game/picture/whatever threads/guild and still get people to see the CAH.

I think that would work Shia ONLY if there was one commons room RP. I may have misunderstood you, but did you mean have a commons room RP in Barton Town AND the guild? Or just in Barton Town?
