Do you think that any of the following people should be abloud to have children? here is a list put together that I would like to know if you would accept them having children, or give me a reason why/why not.
Convicted *****
Convicted murderer
Druggie
Homosexuals
Racist
prostitutes
someone who practices incest
Rapist
Beater

Honestly, I dont think a druggie should have children. Because they might raise a child into an unstable world where the use of drugs is all around.
Homosexuals on the other hand should because if they really want to have children they should be able to. Mostly because they're not able to. And sometimes, they cant.
Beaters should'nt because if a child they have whines for something, they run the risk of being hurt.

I'm gonna have to counter-act your points. I think people should have the right of raising kids. Technically, it's totally their call to what the people do with the kids. We can't judge by what they have done. That would be stereotyping.

i cant really say that i can accept those types of ppl having children. i know it may be stereotyping but theres a reason that these ppl fall in to these categories. its b/c they've actually done these things to make them fall in to those categories. now do u really think a convicted ***** should really be allowed to raise a child? i sure as hell dont think so. it may not be certain whether or not the person will actually do anything to the child but who would really be comfortable letting a convicted ***** raise a child. probably next to none. i know that people have the right to raise a child if they want to but it also should be a child's right to be brought up properly, something which i think the majority of groups of ppl on that list may not be able to do. the only one i question is homosexuals. i dont doubt the ability of a person to raise a child just by their sexual preference of male or female.

the only way I might be fine with drugs or something like that is that if they had gone through rehab or something. I would feel better if I knew something bad wouldnt happen to the child or so that they wouldnt be drawn into the wrong light.

We have no right to say if they should or should not raise children. If they are found beating, hurting, or have killed their child the government should be able to put the children into different loving families.
Homosexuals definatly SHOULD be able to raise cihldren. It is not the parents that turn a child gay/lesbian, but the CHILD'S choice in being gay or not. Freedom of choice. That is what America is about.

If they are found beating, hurting, or have killed their child the government should be able to put the children into different loving families. i agree with you to a certain extent. sure everybody should be given their chance but then do we really have to wait until that child is beaten or abused, etc before we take action so that these children can be taken care of. thats not very fair to the child. they shouldnt have to experience that kind of pain in the first place. why take that chance?

Lots of them have kids and are fine Homosexuals: Of course equal right for everyone ^_^ Racists: Well Racist have children already just not the kind they hate of course. Prostitutes: Not very good for children. Someone who practices Incest: Well uh no but I want people to have equal right and the person may really want to have children so it might be a little mean to say no.
