i think everyone deserves a chance to prove citizenship. i think the gov't is being a little harsh by passing a law to deport all illegal immigrants. i can't really say whether its right or wrong unless i know the full reasons for trying to pass this bill.

I'm a little iffy on this topic. I think that most illegal immigrants should not be kicked out of the united states but others like Mexicans that try to smuggle in drugs and stuff like that should be. Since mexico is the main supply of the most dangerous drugs and they get here by people sneaking in illegally I think those people should get the boot. But others that just want to come to get a better life should be able to stay, but since they discovered some brings dangerous drugs with them they have to be cautious on who they let in.
I suggest that they have some kind of line for the people who want to get in and then do a full search of them to make sure they are clean and if they are then they can come here. Now if someone tries to sneak in they just try to catch them and do the same thing to see if they are clean or not.

First question, they deserve a little chance.
Second question, no I wouldnt rally to their aid, even though i have no reason not to. I like to sta discreet.

I personally think all of the illegal immigrants need to be shipped back home.
They broke the law, and we're going to reward them with citizenship? I don't think so. There's a legal process you can go through. Who cares how long it takes? If you really want a better life, you should wait for it.

Those who come in here illegally keep those from doing it legally from coming in. Thanks to the guy who thought he'd "cheat the system" a person who went through the entire process now has to wait a little longer to get in.

Illegal immgrants don't help either! Illegal immigrants don't pay taxes, none whatsoever. It'd basically be like holding up a sign saying, "Hey! American government! I'm over here!"
Because they don't pay taxes, everyone else's gets raised. I don't know about you, but I'd rather not have my taxes raised (once I start paying them. . .) because Jesus or whoever, decided to sneak across the border.

Second, they keep minimum wage down! If no one was willing to do the jobs for 6.35 or whatever it is, then they would have to raise it in order to hire people. Don't even give me that, "They do the jobs no one else wants to," garbage either.
Think about it from a business point of view. Would you rather hire the guy willing to work for minimum wage, or the guy who won't settle for that, and actually wants more for the job he's doing?
They're not doing the jobs no one wants to, they're only getting hired because they're willing to work for less!

Third, I have no problem with legal immigrants, but yes, illegal ones are a touchy subject for me. (Clearly ninja )

Because that's the law. They're in place to maintain order and to keep the world/country from breaking into chaos.

If we just let whoever wanted to come in, in, there would be no one left in Cuba/Mexico/Wherever. As such, the U.S would become overcrowded. The economy would be in the toilet from trying to house, clothe, feed, and provide gas for the sudden upwelling of people.

Also! To help prevent criminals from coming into the country. If you were a serial killer in Mexico, do you honestly think we want you in this country? Uh. . .I don't know about you, but I certainly wouldn't.

There's a reason it's called illegal immigration. Laws are for your own good, and if the law says you need a green card to work/live here, so be it.

Still, the law's the law. I personally don't think we should have to pay for food and other necessities, but I'm not going to go and shoplift all of my living needs.

Still, the illegal immigrants are even more in the wrong, for taking away the oppurtunity to live in the U.S from other immigrants, who're trying to get in the legal way. By cutting in line, they prevent the mother of three or whatever, from getting in, and she went through the entire process. She waited the extra few months, and now she's being denied because an illegal immigrant cut in line? It's unfair.
