not everybody knows the authors name but almost everybody has at least heard of wicked either the book or the broadway play. he also wrote confessions of an ugly stepsister(which i just started) mirror mirror, and lost(not at all related to the show...its some thriller or scary novel this thread is more about his other three books). i loved wicked for all that it was rather dirty but it was still good and im thinking so will 'confessions' so come here and discuss him and his way of making famous fairytale villainesses loveable

I loved wicked. I really enjoyed how he took the bad character and turned her around and made her the good, (and victim), person. I want to read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister, but i cant find it at the libary.

I saw the show. It was excellent.
I think "Confessions" is my favorite. "Lost" was horrible. I hated it. It really made no sense. "Mirror Mirror" is good too.

I read Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister and Mirror, Mirror. Both were quite good. I still haven't read Wicked, but I want to. This girl in my art class went to see the Broadway show of Wicked about 6 or 7 times... I guess it must be good?

It would depend on what you saw/read first. I listend to the soundtrack for two years before actually seeing the show. I'd read the book before then, so, I my opinion, both are good. They are radically different, ie the lack of smut in the stage show, but given that it is two different media presentations...I like both.

I read Wicked. Well, okay, I read two thirds of Wicked. Then I skipped to the last chapter, read it, and returned it to the library. <.< Yeah, it just got boring to me after she left school.

You really needed a poll option for those of us who have read them all (and enjoyed every one!)
