~~~~~~~~~~~ Welcome! Please introduce your character for the Final Fantasy role play here. I have yet to decide what this story will be about. I think it would be great to include all characters from each of the Final Fantasy stories. If you have any ideas on how to get started don't be affraid to PM me (Amaya_Moriko). I am thinking that I will be using my origional character, which you all know as my avy, Amaya Moriko. I have to dig out my old notes on her. Lol I will beef her up a bit tho. xp Name: Amaya Moriko (Amaya= night rain, Moriko= Forest child), sometimes goes by Midori Age: 19 Race: Cian-Aoife (KEE-an-EE-fa) Weapon: Long wooden staff that has differen animals carved into it, with intricate leaves wrapping around them. A rather large light blue and purple crystal adorns the top, bound with leather about 6 inches down. There are also two feathers which match those in her hair as decoration. She uses her staff when calling upon the forces of nature. Abilities: She is talented in the magical arts. Her people are able to communicate with the animals and ask for their help when needed. Especially lightening attacks. Only able to do basic healing spells at this time. Personality traits: Adventure seeking, gets along well with others, she is a little too trusting of people. She is friendly to all she meets and easily makes new friends. Although, she is a bit shy at first, once you get to know hershe can really talk your ear off; as long as you seem interested in what she has to say. Appearance: Dark auburn hair pulled back into a ponytail, with two small single braids in the front on either side. Attached to the left braid are two off white feather with a light blue tip. She has light blue eyes with specks of silver. Her eyes also change color slightly depending on her mood.They range from shades of bright blue to grey. Amaya wears dark blue pants tucked into dark brown, mid calf leather boots. Her off-white tunic made of a cotton-like material is embroidered with light and dark blue flowers at the cuff of the sleeves as well as below the scoop neck cut collar (if that makes sense). Around her waist, and over her shirt, is a thin dark brown belt which has various pouches attached. In one purse she keeps magic herbs, and runes for her fortunetelling in the other. When the weather turns chilly she wears a long dark blue cloak, lined with grey fleece. Character background: She comes from a clan in the forests of Levian, the Cian-Aoife. There is still much unknown about them. They appear to be mysterious to outsiders because they tend to keep to themselves and rarely leave the forest. They are as old as the trees themselves and are trying to keep the evil out of their part of the forest. Which of course is becoming more difficult with every passing day. Amaya'a father Ryo-Takashi, is the Chieftan of her people. Since she is his eldest daughter, she is next in line to take up the role. In their culture it isn't uncommon for the daughter to follow in the footsteps of their fathers. Before she is ready to take charge, she must go on a journey to hone her magic skills, as well as learn about the outside world.

Name: Mira
Age: 15
Race: Miw-sher (means "kitten" in Egyptian)
Weapon: Besides her claws and teeth, she also has the abilities of both black and white mages. She also carries a knife in a sheath on her right upper thigh, and a golden staff, with 4 long red streamers that match her dress, which can be used in both magic and physcial attacks.
Abilities: Though she is quite young, she is a powerful sorcerer, and her abilities as a mage are rivaled by few. She knows most major spells, though a few she is still working on (mainly her aim xd ). Age still does have it's limitations, despite talent.
Personality traits: She is very distrustful of strangers, but once they have earned her trust, she is a very loyal creature. She is a good listener, and has a warm soul underneath her cold, aloof exterior (which is mainly for show).
Appearance:She looks like a humanoid cat, with short sleek black fur covering her body, and long black hair she wears in a braid that extends just past her waist intertwined with gold ribbons, and a simple gold tiara on her head. She wears a sleevless, strapless form fitting red dress, that accentuates both her feline and human qualities. The skirt of the dress extends to about 6 inches below her knees, with slits that extend to mid-thigh on all sides (front, back, and both sides) and is detachable for those times it would get in the way. Underneath the dress she wears a pair of matching tight red shorts that end at her knees. She wears no shoes unless absolutely necessary, preferring to ride her chocobo named "Chica." She also wears a gold belt loosely hung around her waist.
Character background: Her people were once a powerful race, but was almost destroyed about a decade ago. Her people rarely talked about the event, shamed that their powerful and once proud race had been almost decimated. Determined to find her place in the world, and to reclaim the prestige that her race once held, Mira has set out on a journey with her chocobo named "Chica" against her parent's wishes, intent on proving they have nothing to fear, that they are as powerful now as they were when she was born.

Name: Cho [o like cheerios] Mitsuko [meet-soo-ko] (butterfly of light)
Age: 17
Race: Bellon[bel-own]-Bastet[bas-stet] - to fight fire
Weapon: her fists [prefers up-close combat obviously)
Abilities: Able to use the power of the elements [not as strong as any sage, but enough to make an empact] in a combination of physical attacks, such as fire, water, earth, wind, lightning, dark & light (mostly dominate in fire and light obviously)
Personality traits: Cho is very independent, and like most is not willing to trust anyone unless they have proven themselves worthy. However, being independent doesn't mean she isn't social. She's somewhat accident-prone and can be a little tom-boyish. Overall, she's pretty cheerful and always ready to fight if need be. "I need to become as strong as I can" type attitude. (Am I making sense?) She is very loyal once she gets to know you, and always means best even if it wasn't the right thing to do or say.
Appearance: Cho has long dark auburn hair pulled up into dual perfect buns with some strings of hair neatly sticking out, her bangs framing her face from the back of her ears to the corners of her eyes hacked off right above the eyebrows. Her eyes are a dark brown (almost black) with red flecks that glow when angered or excited (A trait all of her people have) Sometimes they flicker white before she performs her more powerful attacks. She wears a red shirt that comes down to the thighs with silver embroideries and with a symol of her clan on the front. [odd markings that cannot be distinguished by her people-its meaning was lost many generations ago] with puffy sleeves and a white sash tied around the waist. Underneath she wears tight-fitting (not too tight) black pants. Her shoes are white slippers (good for combat & travel)
Character background: Cho comes from a long line of fighters with an ancient technique passed down from one generation to the next that could only be harbored by its daughters. (reasons unknown) (Which has been explained in abilities) She is the oldest out of her mediate family (which consists of her 2 brothers, a younger sister and her father), and so must someday rule her own people. Her mother died when she was 7. However, her mother was the leader of their clan-but her Aunt (whom she does not like at all) has temporary rule until she becomes of age. Because of an incident, her Aunt had 'banished' her-saying that she does not deserve her birthright. Now she must travel and become 'stronger' before she can take her rightful place.

Race: Al Bhed
Wepon: Katana with a green stone dragon on the hilt, and one going up the stealth
Abilities: gifted with using the staff as a wepon, the green stone's allows for green magic (control over earth realated things like plants)
Personality traits: She's quiet, sometimes giving of a feeling that she wants to be left alone, and most of the time she is unless like sometimes in her past where she hadn't been left alone...untill she knows she can trust someone she keeps everything mostly to herself, seeing as she has issues with her past.
Appearance: Kamaya's short, standing at 4'9",(ever seen Hiei from Yu Yu Hakusho?) she has long black hairwith a green streak in her hair on the front left.She normaly wears black belted pants witha black leather a-shirt. With thaht comes the dark, almost black, green cloak.
Character background: She grew up in a small village not far from Besiad (er sp?), where the al behd weren't welcome. She had been abandond as a child at the village and she was found by an older man who abused her in return for her doing all his chores. (more later schools starting 3nodding )

Age: appears maybe 20-21, but is much older. How much older is unknown
Race: moon faerie
Weapon: a small knife hidden in the waistband of her skirt
Abilities: can use alchemy (in the fullmetal alchemist sense), is skilled in illusions and defensive sheilds
Personality traits: Very sweet and innocent, likes to make others smile, hates people being mad at her, can be jealous and vicious when angered, and though she is intelligent she thinks and speaks in a very simplified manner (not unlike a young child)
Appearance: pale purple hair(actually the same shade as Queen Selenity) that she wears either down or in a loose French ponytail with a single small braid always in her hair, grey eyes with a hint of blue, pale skin (she doesn't usually see much sun), wears dark purple and navy blue clothing- which is usually nothing more than a bra-like top and short skirt, sometimes pants, always barefoot, pale violet transparent wings that fold perfectly hidden behind her back
Character background: Elira's clan used to live in Mira's homeland until 'monsters' drove them away. They lived happily in their new homeland until the 'monsters' found them again, and now her clan is only Elira, her father was Aradan, older brother Elayal, and an orphan from another clan named Silara (desert faerie). Though she is only the village storyteller, she has taken it upon herself to scout out another homeland for her clan before they are all killed.

Name: Danielle Elizabeth Star
Age: 9,563 (appears 9)
Race: Rathein (appear human)
Weapon: any type of small knives and daggers are her prominent weapons but she knows how to use a large variety.
Abilities: Because of her size and strength, she has mastered magic to a near perfection but has a really hard time with aiming. She can FLY!
Personality: quiet, she enjoys the company of others and over all has the mind set of a nine year old though she is very mature which tends to conflict with her more childish side, she acts very old but every now and then dose something very childish to remind everyone of her "young" age
Appearance: Crystal blue hair is tied neatly back into a braid that reaches just above her bottom. Her bangs curly and messy neat, parted on the left side. Her eyes change color with the seasons, being forest green in the summer, grass green in the spring, a mix of red, orange and yellow that appears to be flames during fall, and storm grey throughout winter. She also has transparent wings that in cretin lighting can be seen. In the light of the full moon the wings become fully visible. On any other occasion, her wings are within the spiritual realm and thus can not be hurt.
She wears a white dress with short sleeves and a large black pentagon on the chest. Black loose fitting pants underneath with small black slippers complete her simple wardrobe.
Character background: The Ratheins are a mysterious people. Because of their long life spans every child is born at the exact same time as a child from another family of the opposite gender. The two stay together for life. Danielle is on of the few unfortunate children who are born without a life partner. These few children are both picked on and looked down upon.
Having finally not been able to take the abuse of her pears, 300 years ago, Danielle ran away from home. She has made a few friends during that time, but they have all past on. Her long life span is nothing but a curse to her. Deep in her heart, she only wishes for the peace of death.

Character Type: Magic-User (focused mostly on Summoning)
Description: Green hair and eyes, hair cut short and feathered, regular leather clothing, purple cape covering up most of it.
Special abilities: Learned to make golems from various materials, and has learned to summon all types of spirits (basically every type summon from all FF's, inc. Aeons)
Add. info: Direct descendant of Rydia from FF4, also has Blue Mage abilities that he doesn't know about yet.

Race: Half-elven
Weapon: Staff of Oak
Abilities: Glynna is a mage, focused mainly on the healing arts, but with rudimentary black magic skills.
Personality traits: Glynna is quiet, shy and tends to keep to herself while with strangers. She has a strong will, and tends to have arguments over ethical issues with those she knows well. Even if those she is having the argument with don't know what they're arguing about.
Appearance: Glynna is 5'6" tall, with slightly pointed ears and narrow features. She has brown eyes, blonde hair and fair skin, with a few freckles. She wears her hair back in a plait, which is tied with a blue ribbon the same colour as her leggings. Over her leggings she wears a brown tunic belted with a darker brown leather belt ((Okay, I have this insane urge to stop typing and draw Glynna, so there'll be a link here later. Probably. Anyway, on with the description...)) Glynna has sturdy, sensible black knee high boots on her feet, which are smaller than average. She is slim, although not too thin.
Character background: Glynna's parents disappeared some years ago, leaving her inthe hands of the village healer, which is wear she learned the healing arts. Glynna grew up strong, although the abscence of her parents caused her to be quieter than the average person, and more serious, as well as causing her to value her possessions dearly, and not to waste food, as the Healer, Maude, who brought her up, was not rich.
