Got any other favorite authors or genre's? Perhaps you just like some different books all together. If you want to rant about a book, here's the place to do so. wink Authors and genre's also allowed.
Other books I like: The Dark Elf Trilogy - R. A. Salvatore The Icewind Dale Trilogy - R. A. Salvatore Canticle - R. A. Salvatore In Sylvan Shadows - R. A. Salvatore 1984 - George Orwell(that was who wrote it right?) Sarum - (Don't remember the author, but i remember i read some of this in highschool and liked it.)
As you can see I haven't read a lot of books. This isn't exactly true of course. I'm just out of thoughts for books I've read.

Are you on a quest to make this place more active? blaugh
Lols, I like this topic. Anyway ... books. I read a lot, but I never remember what I read until I sit down and think about them.
Fave Genres: Fantasy Science Fiction Realistic Fiction New Age [Astrology, Psychic stuff, Supernatural, Paranormal, etc.] Non-fiction ninja
I've had ppl give me weird looks for liking non-fiction. It's not as if I read a lot of non-fiction - the books in the library are not even good enough for research x.x;; I should change my library card to a regular one instead of a juvenile one ... I keep forgetting ... but then again I've forgotten for years so what's the haste?
Books/Series I like enough to remember: Singers of Tremaris Trilogy [most recent I've read, that's why it's here] [Kate Constable] The Bartimeus Trilogy [Jonathon Stroud] His Dark Materials Trilogy [Philip Pullman] East [Edith Pattou] Circle of Magic & The Circle Opens Quartet [Tamora Pierce] The Circle Reforged [same universe as above] [Tamora Pierce] The Da Vinci Code [Dan Brown] The Universe and Beyond [Dickinson - forgot his first name x.x] Premonition [Jude Watson] Midnight Magic [Avi] Series of Unfortunate Events [Snicket] Flipped [forgot author!! help! T.T]
I think that's all for now ...
I wish there was someone in this thread to talk to ... at least I can ask for recommendations if there were people here ...

Ok, I don't have nearly as many books as that, but I'll try...
Enchanted, Inc. - Shanna Swendson Once Upon Stilettos - Shanna Swendson [These are only two books - there will be more coming out next year!] C.S.I. books - Max Allan Collins Picture Perfect - Urgh, don't know the author! Any book by Dan Brown Confessions of Georgia Nicolson - Louise Rennison [series - I'm not sure if it's finished yet] Series of Unfortunate Events - Lemony Snicket To Kill a Mockingbird - Harper Lee Murder on the Orient Express - Agatha Christie Chicken Soup books - Various [Mostly For The Teenage Soul and such] Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants - Ann Brashares [One, two and three]
...I think that's all. If I remember any more really good ones I'll come back later!

I'm in the process of reading the zombie survival guide, and The Fallen fortress. Both of which I've almost finished. ^_^
I also really enjoyed reading Fried Green Tomatoes at the whistlestop cafe, and the Enchanted Forest Chronicles (I think that's the name? It's by Patricia C. Wrede)

I loved the Zombie Survival Guide! I thought it was really well done, funny, and it had tons of good information, too. (Although, when I was reading it, I kept hearing Mad-Eye Moody in my head. He would so think like that book.)
Right now I'm reading Why Zebras Don't Get Ulcers for school. It's a really good look at the effects of stress on the body. A bit simplistic, maybe - as a dancer and living with someone who has panic attacks for years, I really have an intamit understanding of stress and stressors, but all together a wonderful book. I really think that everyone should read it - the writer is funny, but he gets the information out there.
I've also become obsessed with Cast in Shadow by Michelle Sagara. It's a really good high fantesy book. I haven't been able to get my hands on the second book Cast in Torchligh, which I hope to do so soon, beacuse the third book Cast in Secret is comming out in Augest. I think that I'm more hyper about those books then Harry Potter at the moment - believe it or not!

Grammar Freak Huzzah for active guilds!
I have not heard of this Dark Elf Triolgy - what's it about? The dark elf trilogy is about an dark elf (drow) named Drizzt. It starts out with him in his world where he was born. A land ruled by women and a kingdom of the spider queen. It's all about war, ranking, and pleasing the spider queen. Then later on it runs off into the underdark because he hates all the killing, and he actually has a desire for something more. Then he makes his way into the surface where he ends up living for the end of the books, but his story continues on in many other books ,such as the Icewind dale trilogy, which is also a good read but i haven't read it in a while. Should check out all of R.A.'s books here: http://www.fantasticfiction.co.uk/s/r-a-salvatore/

I shows her from her birth to her death. I Liked it, though it was really raunchy.

I finished reading Stone of tears a couple days ago. Right now I'm working on finishing Watch Tower by Elizabeth Lynn. Next to be completed will probably be How to talk to anyone...After that Probably the Dark Elf Trilogy by R.A. Salvatore since I've almost finished it anyhow. After that I plan to finish reading A Game of Thrones by George R.R. Martin. So as you can see my list is slowly dwindling, but unfortunately for me I can't read faster! So many books to read so little time!
