I was going though some of the facts on internet about spirits and human soul and then the question hit me when all of us used to watch casper and other old cartoons or some of us still watching cough:me:cough lol xd they all the time show that ghosts come from cemeteries from there graves do any of you belive that its the only place that ghosts can come from?

Hmm...I don't think so. This is going on my own personal beliefs, though. I imagine that the human soul leaves the body before it is burried, so it's more likely to be hanging around its death-spot from the beginning than anything. I imagine most then return to the area they are most attached to.

yea i think i read that before in a book lol i'm so stupid biggrin thank you 3nodding But aren't some ghosts or spirits return to there graves for peace.My opinion is that souls and ghosts are different things because souls are like people that accomplitied everything they need so they dont have to come back to our wold any more, but ghosts are like souls to except they are lost and can not find were tey need to go or they haven't finished there buisness in our world.. what do you think about it ? confused

I think your theory is very true..! But also some spirits and ghosts stay on earth for fun...to play tricks on other people.

You aren't stupid! It's cool to read things in books, but never take anything you read or hear for true without reflecting on it and seeing if it feels right to you, y'know?

I imagine some might return to their graves for peace. I know I wouldn't. *laughs* I'd rather hang out on some tall tower, or near the ocean, or deep in a forest. I find peace there now, so I imagine it'd be the same if I got stuck on Earth.

Yes, everything I've heard has been what you are saying. I see it this way: Ghosts ARE souls. However, when a soul feels unaccomplished, or dies suddenly or tragically, or simply is very attached to something dealing with Earth, they can get stuck here and become a ghost.

I also think souls/Spirits can visit Earth. Not necessarily to play tricks, but to help others out as well. biggrin

Nope. Ghosts linger in area(s) that they are strongly connected too. For some it may be the place they died but it could also be where they were happiest, where their loved ones are, where they used to live (familiar areas), or even around people that make them think of their loved ones.

Ghosts can be seen around graveyards but not always.
