(Your babe and my babe, should make babes.)
Nawal snorted, her head throwing back, trying to run from the foul human that pulled her towards a ;arge contraption. The only thought that was running through her mind was dog food. And she's make a good heap of it. Her eyes flashed as she threw her whole body back, her legs flying high and kicking. Cause fear in the humans, make them get away. But it was those eyes that stopped her. Those pale blue eyes of her owner. The calamity in the air just stopped when she was around, her aurora calming all. Nawal came to her, jerking the lead rope away. The female pet her face and lead her into the contraption. She throughly explained it in her own language, her words calming her. When she awoke, she felt the cool air of night and the freedom of roaming Azale. She trotted out of the metal box, and trotted around. She looked for Kyjoto, to ask for praise, but she had disappeared into a yurt. Roaming, Nawal searched for something, some one.

( xD )
There was a general lack of trees. If you wanted to be optimistic about it. In the back of blazing green eyes a stallion blew through flared nostrils at the thought of any trees. For surely he had seen less here than he had hoped, even if two was more than the zero he had glimpsed while coursing the sea. And what good had that done him?
Indeed the vain tobiano had heartily agreed when led into his usual trailer, why risk missing a show where he'd be fawned over? He was quite full of himself, but long months with Innath had slowly began to calm his eccentric fascination with himself.
And yet..what good was beauty when every morning was hotter than the last, and handling was done by human filth? The horse farm he had been foaled in atleast had stunningly clean premises. What did they have here? Sand. Sand sand sand. Had Akim been presented with the opportunity he would have scorned his trainers for teaching him to excel and then sending him to this humid land.
No, someone must have messed up.
While the surrenity offered by true horse owners' in these lands was uncanny, the humans with such gifts spent much of their time busy amongst their horses, their other horses.
Shaking his head in a flustered way, or perhaps just to make his cherished mane dance, the stallion skirted stiffled yurts as he gently loped. It wasn't much to provide a breeze, but it would do.
Sand sprayed and horse hair whipped as the tobiano slowed to a prance and then stopped completely. A mare, a mare he'd yet to set eyes upon. Considering himself conversation starved, after all he'd been stuck with his sister and a few fellow horses, not at all anyone new.
A soft canter and a swift curve placed Akim a few paces from the mare in question. Tossing his head and pawing once at the ground he wondered if she would take the challenge. He needed a good run.

The sound of sand crunched, and it was distinct, and loud enough for those horses' that were insane enough to live out here to hear. She head turn lightly and she saw from her right a male coming in with stupid pride floating around him. He carried his head so high she thought he must have some human made equipment pulling him together, but it was just him showing off. She nickered as though to laugh, her eyes moving forward. He wanted a challenge, she'd bring one. Being a lady she excepted a head start and she trailed through the yurts, her legs taking her outside of Azale. "I hope you can catch up!" Kyjoto didn't send her to those damned Brits for nothing, and she sure wasn't going to lose to this silly stud. Nawal neighed as she cantered off, a light necklace like equipment ringing through the desert. [/maroon]

(( Akim: ;D Hey there hot stuff. ))
With a satisfied snort the vain stallion started after the mare at a light gallope. As he continued his paced continually slowed unto that of a simple trot. In his mind's eye she was always present, and he delighted at her stamina. But gallope? Stallions with bodies as beautiful as this just didn't do that whole exhausted sweat thing.
Mares seemed to pull it off though. Especially this new soon-to-be-even-though-she-didn't-know-it friend. Oh yah. Totally secure.
Gosh though, she could go on forever. Being pampered was the usual frame of life for Akim, sure he'd been forced to perform in early morning exercises, but excluding those he preferred activities that didn't over heat him.
If horses could grin, he would have. So life wasn't all barren in these strange lands.
Musing over the sound of a chiming necklace the stallion was careful not to loose track of the quick paced mare. No, now he was enticed. Life wasn't all work and no play.
It seemed to take ages, but for Akim the pace was just dandy. In fact, he'd even started a light sweat! He just felt outgoing today.
By the time he did spot the mare again he was above her, in height standards atleast. Upon a dune he slid impishly down and danced a moment infront of her before stopping and flaring his nostrils. She may have won, but he could still act like he had been the true victor.
"What's a pretty mare like you doing in a place like this? Awaiting my company?" Weren't they all?

(( Nawal: ....D: Kyjoottooo, he's talking to meee!))
The familiar land passed under her unlike before, she felt more power in her legs, the sand not becoming concrete around her hooves, but clouds pushing her higher. Her body swayed as she continued on, Nawal's mind set and prepared for any obstacle. If she could she would have raised an eyebrow as the stallion almost tripped himself. She expertly trotted down the dune, her eyes fixed on the horizon before her. Slowing her pace, Nawal looked upon the stallion who stood higher then she. He was surely not used to the ground and surroundings as she was. Nawal snorted, keeping her eyes on his lightly wet coat. Her body heaved, her lungs filling with sweet air, and releasing it. Nawal nickered and flung her mane back, as though to tease him.
"I was born and raised her. This is my home."

(( AKim: Here pretty! ;D Over here! I don't bite..>D ))
Akim sighed, a dramatic sigh of someone deeply flattered and horrible at hiding it. Which he probably was. Being vain and talking to a pretty girl. His dreadfully in love with himself mind was his biggest fan. This mare wouldn't be able to resist him for long. No one could!
"A place isn't a home until there's a companion to keep you company. Otherwise things are just empty." Hah. He could fling his mane too. Man she wanted him. Obviously.
Half circling her at a light trot he brushed against her and threw his mane to the side. "And you look like you need a companion."
Even if she didn't like him, he'd already decided he'd bug her until she did. Hey, he was shameless. Could she phaze him? Unlikely.

((Nawal: >D But I DO!))
Giving the stallion a glare, she watched his slow moving trot as he flung himself like a stud, his eyes showing her nothing but pure, stupid, male pride.
"Any place can be home as long as you can stretch your legs out." Maybe, if she kept walking, he would disappear. Not that she wanted him to... well... he was nice to have around. Someone to talk to.
"I, need a companion?" Nawal thought about herself. She had been in England for... two years. No stallions anywhere, and she couldn't pick up the accent the English throughbreds spoke. Yes, she did need a companion.
But no. Not this guy.
"I think I'd rather keep a snake company." Nawal was harsh, and most of the time she ment what she was saying. Nawal needed a friend about now. Moving at a light trot she clopped off, looking to see where an oasis was.

(( Akim: No complaints here. >3 ))
Ouch. She had spirit. Which didn't help her too much if her goal was to discourage Akim. The stallion grinned. Girls were so much fun.
"A literal snake or a metaphorical one? If a human can be a wolf in sheep's clothing, then darlin', I can be your snake." She was blunt, so there wasn't much use in being coy.
He liked her though. He liked her wit and sharp tongue. And she was pretty. She was pretty, he was pretty. It just seemed to fit. Atleast in his mind.
He followed her. Giving her teasing looks out of the corners of his eyes he proceeded to pester her with his presence. He'd win her over somehow.
Moving abruptly infront of her Akim tossed his shoulder against hers. She couldn't hold out forever. Come on. This was Akim.

((Nawal: .....*bites leg and bucks back*))
Damn, this boy would not go away. He had a flare, one that she knew would be by her side for a loonnnggg time. "For a gentlemen, you do not please me with your name." So much sarcasm flew from her lips. Nawal snorted, the snake joke pleasing to her ears in some strange fashion.
"Yes, I was speaking of a literal snake." She felt his shoulder bump into her's his eyes connstantly on her.
"I might just have to go find that snake." Nawal pushed off, her feet pushing off the sand and lifting her body into the air. Her movements were a show offy prance, and her legs quickly fell into a canter. Nawal lowered her head as she moved onwards, testing him.

(( Akim: *blinks and backs up a step before bugging her again* Two can roll that way. >] ))
"We've spoken for only moments and already you see the fine stallion I am! My name is Akim, since you seem eager to know." He winked. "And your's my lovely?"
Literal snake. Hey. Whatever she wanted, didn't mean he had to sit next to it. He wondered skeptically if she truly was that cold, and as she began to surge away from him his doubts were erased. Naw, she just liked the idea of hard to get. Why else would she tease him?
"I'll escort you. If you get bit I might need to suck the venom out. Save your life. Then you'd be forever indebt to me, Lady." Wouldn't that be neat? Bet she wouldn't complain.
He didn't bother to attempt to keep her pace, as long as he wasn't dreadfully far behind he didn't mind just watching him. Didn't she think she was hot stuff? Better for him!

"Akim......... my name is Nawal." Her name meant nothing to her. It was just a human pet name, one given to her by an old man. She was a gift to a princess. And that's where her name had come. " A Gift."
He wanted to follow her, unlike most stallions. Most saw her as too cold, or too hard. Akim seemed sweeter beneath his layers of ego.
She didn't want to drive him away, no, not now. "Thank you kind sir."nShe looked at him with a strange look. In debt? Hmm.

Akim was pleasantly surprised. His good natured grin spread quite wide across his face and he bowed his head happily. "It's good to make your aquaintence Nawal."
He had no doubt she was a gift. But perhaps she didn't consider it the same way he did. She likely meant in a human sense. He found her much like a gift of the desert which she quite well reflected. And what a gift she was. A hidden surprise that was of great relief. She herself was probably quite talented. So much she'd already proven with her mock races.
"Your company is thanks enough." He did quite enjoy her. She had more flare in her than any mares he'd come across in quite a while.
