 Tired of the same old rave or dance party at every anime convention? Well... now it's time for something completely different. Wasabi Anime presents COSPLAYBACK! Using music from decades past (the big eighties, disco seventies, etc.) we put together an event caters to young and old alike. Enjoy dancing, costumes, and even the occasional dance number. It'll be the Rainbow "Brite" part of your night! Last year Wasabi Anime brought the retro eighties to Anime Festival Orlando... this year IT'S DISCO BABY! That's right - from 11:30 PM until they shut us down we'll be paying tribute to funky melodies and cartoons of yesteryear. THIS YEAR we've changed the format (based on fan feedback!) The first half of the dance will be pure disco - no remixes. Come dance with our seventies cosplayers to the original hits of that funkadelic decade. The second half the dance converts into a rave style event - glowsticks and techo-remixes of classic seventies hits. Smoke machine not included this year. B.Y.O.F.A. (Bring Your Own Funky Afro)

well between the afo oscars formal, and the after party of that..
i can fit that in my schedule!

Sounds Like fun, though right now all I've still got planned is going to the meet up, and clinging to Miss Kitsune, miss Minion, and Miss Liana in the artists ally. I'll be drowning in cute emotion badges made by Silvertales art, aka Miss Kit. anyone want a badge? I might get some extra.. check em out and let me know if you want one. Ah...I intend to go...Depending upon the situation. Maybe I can convince my lovely Dezzy to hang with me that night...If I try to fly solo at that, I'm sure to run into some trouble....

I'm gonna babble now...I'm feeling talkative today...
Heh...it was amazing, regardless of lack of fan girls...Even though my friend wouldn't even sway...I danced with Gojyo for like...forever and a day 'cause I was hiding in the corner...I never did get accustomed to rooms filled with people.
But no, seriously, it sounds like everyone had a great time, plus there were no problems! More than I can say for my other cons I had an awesome time seeing everyone there (and if I didn't see you...um....I dunno what...catch you next year, I guess... sweatdrop ).
Who else thinks Aaron Dismuke dancing on stage in a tux is adorable...?'
((My sis, who wasn't even there wanted to glomp him at the very thought...Poor lil' guy...))

Yeah voice actors often have to sign pretty strict contracts concerning how they are allowed to behave at events like this. Could be bad if something like that got out.
The wonderous Sean Schmell[sp?] [unsurprisingly absent] was rumoured to have been severely reprimanded for his convention antics.

That would totally suck. I mean...it's not like I ever do anything seriously bad at a con, but it would still suck to have rules...I kind of prefer acting like an a** when I feel like it, really...
My friends got in trouble at the FMA signature thing on sunday for yelling their 'secret word' of the day and yelling (yes, like on Peewee's Playhouse) when we got in the room. I refused to do it with them because Aaron's so young...I would've felt like a jerk (though I myself was already fully corrupted by...ten years old. ^_~). The con volunteers running the line told them to do it, then the actual con staff in the room got pissed at them. It was a stupid idea in the first place, but whatever....
