Kittywitch has come to the conclusion that the tavern roleplay thread needs an OCC thread. This means, Out of Charatcer. Please, post any thoughts you have about the tavern here.

First order of business, the Tavern needs a name. After we've had a few suggestions, (post 'em here!) I will put a poll on this thread so we can vote on it.

Second order: Seeing as many of our players are spellcasters, please post your spellbook here, so we can later add it to that convient post Dr. Crane did not reserve for other use. It's mine now, Crane! Bwa ha ha!

Xardian's Power List-

Note- He's my DnD Character so many of his powers are DnD Psionic Powers. And he's level 30 in the campaign.

Catfall- Instant manifest power, allows Xardian to right himself and avoid getting hurt from a fall.
Conceal Thoughts- A short glow in the eyes and a low glow around his head shields his thoughts from prying eyes.
Deja Vu- A planted mental suggestion that causes someone to repeat an action or phrase.
Disable- Mental plant that makes target believe they are disabled.
Empathy-Detects surface emotions
Energy Ray- A bolt of charged Ether fired from the palm
Summon Meta- Arranging his fingers in a variety of gestures and muttering in a archaic language will develop a sphere of light which a powerful summoned outsider will emerge. (See list below)
Inertial Armor-A yellow glow emits from Xardians eyes, and a layer of translucent substance overlay's his frame and offers him extra protection.
Cloud Mind- A mental attack that erases Xardian's existance from the memory of others
Energy Push- A thrust of the arms as if he were pushing a large object leads to a pale blue energy blast that sends an opponent backwards.
Energy Stun- An electric Charge arcs over her fingers, which he sends at the opponent to damage and stun
Mental Disruption- Psychic Scream that interupts concentration and sometimes dazes those with lesser minds.
Swarm Of Crystals- A calm falls before Xardian as he mutters incoherently. Sharp crystaline objects materialize around him, and he snaps to focus. With eyes glowing he snap gestures the Crystals to their target.
Mass Missive- Sends a one way telepathic message to an area
Energy Bolt- A powerful line of energy is fired from the fingers
Energy Burst- A gutteral scream with arcs of psychic flame licking the skin sends a powerful energy wave in a 40 foot radius.
Telekenetic Thrust- Objects glow fantly as they are enveloped in psychic energy to be thrown with great force.
Ubiquitous Vision- Xardians eyes blank and he appears to have become blind, but in reality he know sees everything around him.
Adapt Body-Changes Xardians body to adjust to hash conditions.
Psychic Crush-A viloent blue glow emits from Xardians eyes which channels a Psionic barrage that attacks the psyche and mental pathways in a persons brain.
Psionic Blast- A moment of intense focus creates a cone of rippling intangeable energy that disrupts the brain.
True Seeing- His eyes clear and everything become clear, seeing past disguise, invisibilty and sometimes stupid plot devices
Retrieve-A telekentic charge enevlopes an object and teleports an object to Xardan's hand.
Crystallize- Faint blue energy envelopes Xardians hands all the way up the forearms. With arms pointed down and slowly raising them he can turn an object or person to pure crystal.
Energy Wave- A wide sweep of his arms sends a towering shockwave of energy in a large swath at a target.
Ultrablast- Long pale flames lick at his feet and engulf Xardian in his concentraction, as he focuses energy into his two seperated palms. He slams them together and unleashes a powerful blast 15 feet around him.
Teleport- Do I need to describe this one?
Shadow Body- Dark energy spreads like gas from his eyes around his body, turning him into a shadow.
Fussion- Allows him to combine with another person to create a bigger being

s**t, guys! I felt bad giving Kittywitch six spells!

Shield- A translucent dome blossoms, morning-glory like, from the tip of Kittywitch's staff. This can be of various sizes and concavity, but naturally, the larger the dome, the greater the drain. It blocks spells better than physical attacks, but can handle both in a pinch.
Heal- A blue-green glow envelopes Kittywitch's hands. She places them near or on wounds, and they heal rapidly, closing in moments.
Living flame- The amythist shines golden and flame curls from the staff. Itt then takes shape and follows her command. Depending on the amount of energy put into the spell, it can be of a wide range of sizes. The largest she's ever made it destroyed a tavern entirely. The cruelest she's ever used it was on a drow, attacking a house of healing run by Menilia's nuns. She put her staff against his head, said, "Please die" and created flame inside his skull, burning his brain out. She has seen him in her dreams. (I.E. This was a bit traumatic)
Leviate- Colorless, this may be an alteration of shield
Sleep- Blue, glowing particles float to the ground like cherry blossoms or snow, depending on the amount of energy poured into it, hum and release a vapor that induces sleep. It effects Kittywitch less than others, and works slower on larger beasts.
Light- The amythist in her staff glows brightly, almost white.

With materials and spellbooks, she could hypthetically cast other spells, but these are the ones she only needs her staff for. This is normal for a cleric of Menilia, they are restricted to knowing one attack spell, as they are stepmothers, at best, protecters, but not warriors.

However, I'd like to point out other priestesses, clerics, and nuns (different ranks, it is mostly a female cult. Some males pray to her on behalf of their surrogate mothers, but this is a rarity) do not have vows of celebacy. They simply are asked to leave the clergy if they have their own childern. It is frequent that they then join the clergy of a generic mother godess.
All she was actually asked to do was: Protect all childern of Menilia, the second mother. (This means everyone. Menilia is everyone's surrogate mother.) Do not bear your own childern while in service of Menilia.

She will, however, claim other things she does are in the second mother's name.

Um... also she has the racial traits of a neko... basically she's a cat that just looks like a human. Not that she looks alot like a human. Night vision, balance, hightened senses, and can jump twice to three times her height in the air. She's fairly quick on her feet in a battle, and tends to notice small, repeative moitions. But just don't underestimate her because she prefers not to fight. She can hold her own in most situations.

One other thing- Xardian, after reading your ablities, I came to the conclusion that reading her mind is the only way anyone will find anything out about Kittywitch's past, except: 1-she once killed a drow by creating a flame inside his head, and she sees his dead face in her dreams, and 2-Once, her living flame took out an entire tavern, to stop the ascention of a demon lord. There were innocents in there with it, but most of them were already dead.

I was going to post this in the tavern, but I realised it was much better suited to here.

We should figure out something to be happening at the tavern. A plot. An attack. High intrigue. Something.

Further insight into the workings of Kittywitch's brain.

In the village where she was raised (which I named at one point and forgot about), nekos were significantly less humanized than in other communities.
Essentially, Kittywitch is a bit of a black sheep because she took exception to a convention best compared to Oneida's complex marriage: All children were each other's brothers and sisters, and all adults were each other's husbands and wives. Sexuality was less sacred even than the profane; practiced openly with no concept of shame attached.
This, in Kittywitch's mind, was hedonistic and she would have no part of it. She left home at fourteen because of it.

Her relationship of elder sister to the boys in the village, however, molded much of Kittywitch's mind; and developed her Wendy complex. She finds herself subconsciously drawn to young men, particularly aimless ones; with an urge to mother them. While this has been misinterpreted as sexual many times; as Kittywitch is still only twenty, she has not been yet accused of ***** has made reference to having a younger sister named Noneko, but with this in mind; there is nothing to say that they are actually blood relations.
