Coming upon the Kage's home, Michio stepped out in front of her, pushing aside the doors with ease for her. He kept quiet and solemn, trying to play off his actions as a sheer form of servitude, simply his duty to his leader and nothing else.

"Rest yourself, Kage. I will tend to your needs." Michio's mask covered him well, concealing him and all the detestable things within him. More than simple disguise and guard, his masks served as something more. A barrier for himself, keeping the lingering shreds of humanity inside of him, replacing it with the false faces he'd adorn himself with. With nothing but the rare show of his eyes and the tone in his voice, Michio was no more or less than a killer. An indifferent assassin. A monster of his own design.

Awaiting until she passed through the archway of the grand doors, Michio stood holding it open to one side, closing it promptly after she strode wearily passed him. He sought to tend and treat this woman whom he'd become accustom to, though he strove to conceal any sort of fondness that may have been stirred inside him, meaning to show no human emotion. Emotion that he deemed synonymous with Weakness.

As the once mighty Kage reached the top of the stairs she let out a low groan of pain, the burning sensation now flaming through her entire chest as she gasped for air. So close yet so far Nayami was to her bedroom, the one place she could finally rest and try to heal her internal pain.

Dragging her limp body down the great hallway of the upstairs level her bare feet seemed to slide along the polished wooden floorboards. Finally approaching her long awaited room she threw her body onto the soft mattress, her eyes almost instantly closing as she fell upon the comfy cushion.

“I need to rest up; I can’t afford being like this any longer…” The storm Kage murmured beneath her breath before her eyes fully shut; sleep soon taking its toll as her mind fell unconscious
