First Post: THE ORIGIN
Alright, so here's the story:
After a conversation with none other than DDG herself, I decided that I need to be way more active in this guild. I can't even remember the last time I posted. How sad.
But really, what can I say? I guess I'm just a lurker at heart.
So then I decided to take what k667 has- her little daily happenings and such- and twist it. Now, because nothing ever happens here ("My car doesn't work still, I moved furniture, oh look, now I'm online."), I won't do a journal.

Second Post: HERE'S THE DEAL And here is the part that will get me posting.
I will post a new fact everyday. (*knocks on wood*) Or, close to everyday. We'll say everyday that I am online, because, let's face it: life gets hectic and sometimes I'd rather sleep than go online.
These will be in the Third Post (that's the one after this, folks!). Most recent facts will be at the top, the latest fact will be in red. For your browsing convenience, I shall also date these.
And then after I post, y'all are free to comment/discuss the random facts and such!
Ooh, and once a week I shall change the poll question- it will most likely be on Saturday night. Yay!
EDIT. As of 8.4.06, I have decided to incorporate this idea with a journal. I will still have daily facts, but I will also add a journal-y type post every now and again. I figure with school starting up, marching season starting on Monday, and my search for a job as well as colleges will give me something to write about.

Well then. Today was interesting. I guess.
Dad came by for my younger brother and asked if I wanted to go to Michigan with him next Friday. Um, well, let's consider this: First off, I have bandcamp next week which is why I'm not going downstate with Mom. And Friday is the performance night- I can't miss it. It's senior year. Second, we don't get along. I don't get along too well with my younger brother, either. So, the three of us in a car driving to Michigan and then staying the weekend together? I'm not seeing that work. Third, I worried that his girlfriend would be coming. 'Nuff said.
Annd then at dinner with Mom tonight I told her that I'm not going into Music Ed anymore. I've decided that I'm going to go for Communications/Mass Media/Broadcasting. 3nodding She took it well, she wasn't all like, "AHHH. WHY?!?" She was cool with it.
Oh, and my car isn't fixed yet. I am going to call ad YELL at my friend who's supposed to be fixing it. I need my car, I'm home alone next week and have bandcamp. GRHUHRUREHIGU. <-that's an angry/frustrated-type sound.

Scarletfox Quote: 6. Currently, I have three parakeets- by the end of next week, we may have a total of five. (8.3.06) You should get an even number, because they generally pair off and become "bff"'s with one other bird. I know, I know, Scarletfox is always a**l and always has information about stuff. I would get an even number, but Mom's stopping at five. These next two are her doing- she was talking to a co-worker who has two parakeets that aren't really wanted. They've had them for a year or so and the poor things don't have names! So I figure they'll probably stay in their cage for the time being and my current three will be in theirs. My reason for having three was that when I had two, I got ot thinking- they'll get attached...and if one dies, the other will be heartbroken and possibly die of shock...thus, another one. I wanted a fourth, but before now Mom put her foot down.

Scarletfox Awwww that's so sad, unwanted keeters!! gonk Actually, I forgot to mention, if you connect with them (talk to them, play with them) they won't have many problems with the pairing off thing. But you probably knew that. Yep. ^.^ I talk to 'em a lot and such. In the old house, they were in my room so they only got interaction when I was in there...but now, at the new house, they're here in the dining room where they can see people in the living room, dining room, and kitchen...so almost all day there's someone. They seem so much happier out here. And they've gotten quieter...not so rowdy and attention-whorish. xd

I decided tonight that I am officially...dumb. Yes, dumb.
So my car still wasn't fixed by this evening. I took Mom up on her offer to use her car- only problem is, it's stick shift. I haven't driven a stick shift car in a year. And I only learned because of her car...that I never drive. So I drove around the neighborhood for 20 minutes to get used to it, came home, got ready to go out. My friend called for me to pick her up so we could go see a movie in the park with some friends. I only had trouble with one turn where I popped the clutch a few times and then got going. I was fine.
After the movie, we get back in the car and I'm trying to back out. And trying. And popping the clutch every freakin' time. "GAH! WHY DO I KEEP DOING THAT??" *looks down* "I'M STUPID." Yah, the parking brake was on. *holds for applause* Cars won't go if the parking brake is on. *takes a bow*

Just so y'all know...
This week is band camp. It goes from 7am-5pm, Monday through Thursday with a half-day on Friday. I'll only be on at night, if at all and who knows how often the facts will be updated this week. ...But as of now, I don't think I have any faithful readers, so it matters not. xD
