I liked them at one point. They kind of got old after a week of listening to them. It's the same song pretty much over and over again. But that's just my opinion. I'm not going to diss anyone who likes them ^.^. Your preference, not mine.

I personally enjoy this band's music. Their new album is released on October 3rd, 2006.

I LOVE Evanescence haha I used to be obsessed with them then I started to listen to heavier music and now I like Slipknot way better. Although I do like Evanescence, thier new song I don't like... you know that "Call me when you're sober" ick Amy Lee sounded like Christina Aguilera in it, especially at the very begining but, the band over all was still awesome! heh

Personally I like their older stuff (Evanescence EP, Sound Asleep/Whisper EP, Origin) less the mainstream stuff they've made cause at their old sound Amy and Ben where geniuses.

Evanescence never broke up. Ben just left the band because he and Amy had drifted apart and wanted to leave the band in the best of hands so that their little fights wouldn't get in the way of the success of the band.
Ben Moody himself is now a solo artist.
And Evanescence recruited John LeCompt to take his place along with Terry Balsamo.
