Okay Here are the rules for this thread you can give your first name but no lastnames, no addresses, no phone numbers, nothing that can be used to find where you are or anything that can be used to defraud you. If you fail to follow this guideline you and you alone are liable for any misusings of your personal information.

That having been said, I think that this will be a good way for us to all get to know one another abit better outside of the standard C&T tech talk jargon.

Age: 18
Education: Finished Highschool Currently trade school
Job Status: Currently rescue worker. soon to be welder

Interests outside of Computers: Well I should first say that I am a Bilateral Amputee (no legs below the knees for you lamens) so I am naturally very interested in the prosthetic industry as it directly effects my standard of living. However I have never had legs so I don't know what it is that I am supposedly missing out on, as I am very capable of doing everything that I really want to do. One of my favorite Activities is snowboarding although It has not been very healthy for me (Wonder where the nickname Crash Came from this is a good bet), I was also at one time a top ranked Wheelchair racer but I stopped due to personal reasons. I am now Married to the woman of my dreams. I hope to live out the rest of my life with her.

A Little About Me: Well I think my interests outside of computers summed that up but sure why not. I am Originally from a little hell hole town called Slave Lake, which is where I first started snowboarding. *Note on the snowboarding: Its not that I am a bad snowboarder its that I tend to go really fast, and carve hard, I also don't wuss out of jumps, because catching air is what its all about right?* I have absolutely no criminal record surprisingly enough as I though for sure I was gonna go to jail a few times. Oh and I like anything to do with speed, and g-forces.

Favorite Type of Music: I dont have a favorite Genre it really comes down to what I am feeling like at the time. But I do have favorite bands, Lagwagon, Inflames, Thrice, Autumn to Ashes, Guano Apes, AlterBridge, Dashboard Confessions, AFI, 3 doors down, Bad Religion, Authority Zero, Dance Music of any kind, And for my quieter moments, Yoko Kanno.

Favorite Movie: Action: Face off, and Of course Dodgeball for comedy.

Favorite Beverage: Alcoholic: Holy water (Blue Curacoe, Sprite and Sourpuss) Non alcoholic: Iced Tea

Favorite Passtime Activity: Besides avoiding doing work? Whatever I am doing at that time.

Favorite Quote: "I have never seen a blue sky and yet I can hear it calling me closer, remembering a time when I was so free." - Yoko Kanno

My Quote: " I could never forget you I have a pornagraphic memory... Oh s**t I mean photographic memory."

Name: Bond... James Bond... Or it could be Kevin.
Nicknames (if applicable): New Guy, God, Jesus, "The Cube," Technomancer, EniGmA, Guru...
Age: 19
Education: High School Diploma, College Dropout. stare
Job Status: Current working at pizza hut, soon to be working at a gas station and pizza hut.
Interests outside of Computers: My current obsession is airsofting. Some people wanna join the Marines or Army for the whole romanticism of being out in hostile territory, tooth and claw. Airsoft works all that out of my system. My current weapon of choice is a Classic Army/Armalite M15A4. I have plans to purchase an Tokyo Marui P-90 with a First Factory box mag for CQC (Close Quarters Combat).

Paintballing kinda goes in the same catagory, although I did sell my gun and stuff. I don't go as much anymore, because Airsoft is cheaper and comes with a better group of people.

I also run almost everyday. My current best is one mile (1.6 Km) in 5 minutes and 32 seconds. I've also done 72 pushups in one minute, but I've never been able to do more than 65 after that. Fitness is very important to me, because I can't be a stud without it. wink

I also like to snuggle with teh ladies. But who doesn't?

A little about yourself: Originally born in "Sin City," the desert oasis of Las Vegas, Nevada, I find myself years later right next door in Phoenix, Arizona. Being raised in a military family, I've been there and back again, so there isn't much of the U.S. that I haven't seen. I've only been out of the country once, which was to go to Mexico. Well, technically. It was Cancun, which is under lease by the U.S. to Mexico. xd

Most of my family is on the east coast, and by decent, I am French/Canadian/Polish... So, as you can imagine, I get flak for that (all in good humour, though).

I also like to give a lot of hugs. Handshakes are for places of business ONLY. 3nodding

Currently, being kicked out of my house until I can pay my parents rent, I sleep at my friend Sam's house (Gaia user SpazMunke), on his couch.

Favorite type of Music: Goth/industrial, Electronic, Symphonic, Classical, Heavy Metal, Hard Rock. My favourite band is SpineShank.

Favorite Movie: "The Game," closely followed by "Black Hawk Down."

Favorite Beverage: Strawberry Melon Powerade. 3nodding

Favorite Pastime activity: LAN party all the way!

I squirted a few ounces onto my tongue, and though I would love to comment on the taste, I cannot because THIS s**t BURNED MY MOUTH. Honestly, it was like holding a mouthful of flaming kerosene. I managed to swallow a small amount, which shot down my gullet like Satan's horseman riding his fiery chariot into Hell."

Name: Jamie

Nicknames: Tel, James, Jay, Jame, Jameson, William Tell, JimBob<-*mom's nickname* "Hey you!"

Age: 16

Education: Currently in grade 11, taking the most advanced courses I can.

Job Status: Unemployed, trying (not very hard) to find a job.

Interests outside Computers: Anime, Music (playing instruments), Reading, computers.. wait....

A little about me: I live in Nova Scotia, Canada. I spend way too much on books and Manga, I have a rabbit that looks like Pancake except grey. I have many close friends who are girls, but no girlfriend. (My class has a 2/3 ratio of boys/girls) I'm the "good kid" in my family, I don't know why...

I have the unique ability to seem like i'm listening to you but not be or look like I'm not listening and really be listening. I can sit there and repeat what you just said and a few minutes later i will have forgotten completely. I stare into space alot, but I notice everything while I'm like that.

I'm not a whiner and have very little patience with them. I have a weird anachronistic preoccupation with honour.

First Name:Stephen

Nicknames:Sheep(from Counterstrike, but passed on to gaia) and Babs(derived form my last name, Babineau)

Age:17

Education:Currently a senior in High School

Job Status:More unemployed than I ever wanted to be, but I take odd jobs for money.

Interests outside of Computers:Anime plays an uncomfortably large role in my life, but my friends matter more than anything else in existance. Also I enjoy rollerblading and a wee bit of modelmaking.*looks around his room to see if he's missing anything* And I take alot of joy in reading.

A little about yourself:I currently live in Albuquerque, New Mexico, but I have lived from New York to California and everywhere inbetween. Growing up I was an army brat so we did move a whole lot. I was born in UCLA(upper corner, lower alabama) and moved to new york when I was about 3. We stayed in Troy, New York(right next to albany) and moved to Maryland after a few years. We moved to a different place in Maryland shortly thereafter and spent a few years there befure hauling our asses off to Alameda, California. Our reason for moving there was because my dad had been offered a substantial benefits package to leave the army early, so he took it after he found a job. We stayed there a year and moved off to Tennessee(2nd grade for me), we then moved back to Alameda for a year. Then we returned to TN for te next 6 years of my life.

I have a big love-hate relationship with my time there. First off, I hate the weather. It was always muggy and hot or wet and cold. Also the public schools there were horrible, but when I entered 7th grade I went to a private school called Webb. That school made me who I am today more than anything else. It taught me to be comfortable in a tie, and to respect myself for who I am, but that didn't change the fact that I was miserable in middle school. Being the tall, quiet kid in a class of 35-40 didn't seem too popular. I was offered friendshiop and took it, but it was a false hand, and that person remains someone who i will hate as long as i live.

After middle school things brightened considerably. I became very talkative and made some new friends. I also met the girl who has now become my best friend in the world. It was certainly among the happier of my days. Then, things turned rather black. Somewhere into the first semester of my Sophmore year my parents informed me we would be moving to New Mexico. It was rough. Although I had learned to quickly make new friends from my younger days, I didn't want new friends. I can't say I remember much after the move, we lived ina rental house and I had no friends. My mind seems to have made it a blank point in my life, it certainly wasn't a happy time, and I often thought semi-seriously about suicide. Then I realized I'm stronger than that, which brought me to my current belief on the matter. Ever since the start of my junior year, things have been much improved. We moved into a real house, with a pool and hottub(not to mention the view of sandia cret from my window). I made good friends and met Anna that halloween(thank god, heh heh). I keep in contact with all my friends from TN, and visit every summer.

That is my life in a nutshell. Oh, and I'm 6'5" and about 200-215. If you want my exact address in ABQ, just ask. Also, I apologize for being such a poor writer.

Favorite type of Music biggrin epends entirely on my mood. It ranges from trip hop to rap, though my favorite bands include: Self, Hooverphonic, Daft Punk, Blue Six, and Soul Coughing

Favorite Movie:Hands down, Gattaca. No movie has ever made me believe in myself quite like it did. Actually, Garden State has just done the same thing to me. I reccomend everyone see those two movies...now.

Favorite Beverage:Mountain Dew, though most of the time I avoid the caffiene and drink my second favorite beverage, water. I'm also a fan of Crystal Light lemonade.

Favorite Pass time activity:I love to hang with my friends, because I love them more than anyone in the world. I also hang out with my big bro sometimes. He is the one opinion I hold above all others. I'm also a frequent computer user of the vegetable sort...(CS, anime, you guys...)

Favorite Quote:"A wise man learns from the mistakes of others, a fool, his own" Certainly not an entirely true quote, but I do apply it to many circumstances. I also thoroughly believe in Cogito Ergo Sum(I think, therefore I am"

A Quote of your Own:"Albuquerque isn't suburban, it's just sub...urban...damn"

If you have any further questions, please feel free to ask on IRC or something. I'll try to revise my bio more with time, because it's not to thorough right now and only concentrates on very specific parts of my life. I left out most of the fun stuff, but will add as you ask.
