Part 1
After Jareth left Aven's little party, Damien made a yellow brick road statement. After which Aven assumed she was Dorthy and asked Damien if he was Toto. Elizabeth then said he was the Lion, and Aven called Sky the scarecrow and wondered if Jareth would be the Wizard of Oz or the Witch of the West. A fairy called Tunder makes an appearance and gives Istar a little company. After a round of verbal wrestling (in which Aven pointed out that even if she stayed, it would be as a guest not a servant like Sky) both girls finally shut up and made progress through the Labyrinth. xd The Group then reached a hill and Aven got to look at the entirety of the Labyrinth at twilight. She was then taken by a deep desire to stay rather than leave as she had begun to plan. After much chatting you we learn that the Fierys are perverts and Sky set their forest on fire when they first met.
Sky and Damien share a sweet playful-hug-mushy moment and Aven was overwhelmed with feelings of disgust. Aven's then starts asking questions so as to make them stop being mushy. Thinking that Aven's disgust was aimed at him, Damien begins to act Jareth-like while answering the questions because he thinks Aven will like him again if he acted like the Goblin King... unfortunately it just makes everyone confused. Aven asked how many Kingdoms there were in the Underground:
Willow-sama Damien smirked but held a serious tone, he could sense avens displeasure in his affection towards Sky. "Yes...thirteen in fact." He stood straighter, shockingly and yet a little scary, he seemed less good natured every second.
Opaaru Aven noted Damien's sudden moodswing with a fleeting glance. It was obviously a touchy subject, nevertheless Aven was a firm believer that tact had no place in the pursuit of knowledge.
"I take it they're not peaceful coexisters," Aven concluded.
Willow-sama "Most yes, though a few do not get along. Such as the Canine and Feline Kingdoms." he nodded his eyes keeping pace with his boots as they walked along.
Opaaru Aven nodded though she still couldn't pin point the reason his entire personality had shifted. He was acting a lot like...well Jareth of all people. Jareth HAD mentioned Damien was at least 200 years old. The moodswings could be age related. Did anthro-felines go through menopause? Or was it anthropause? Cat-thropause? I wonder if they have a schizo kingdom he's not mentioning.
"So what's that you said about southerners threatening the Labyrinth?" she asked.
Damien explains a little about how he met Jareth and goes into Labyrinth history. Apparently the cat prince saved Jareth's life during a war several centuries back. Aven pointed out that she didn't hate Jareth and couldn't imagine him giving anyone reason to hate him enough to brew a war against the Goblin King. To which he responded:
Willow-sama Damien smirked his eyelids lowering slightly, "How about a Queen bent of destroying Jareth because she can not have him and his kingdom for herself? The jealous rage of a female being caught in the heat of a crime against the King of Goblins, casted out for her deceit to never return again."
So the reason for the war was deemed to be a woman scorned by Jareth because she scheemed to take over the Labyrinth and it's king. She was banished from Underground society as punishment. Aven stated that "king grumpy" was coveted by fae and mortal women. Damien then reverted to his playful nature and stated that there were a few males wishing to have amorous encounters with Jareth. He then let slip something about Jareth and a pageboy to which Aven reacted by begging to hear the entire story. He apologized for making her feel disgusted.
Willow-sama "Sky is like a little sister," That had more then one meaning which he had hoped she had gotten. "besides," he added, "even if i thought about trying to go after her Jareth would skin me alive." Then again he would skin me for any woman he had a personal interest in. He looked her up and down, a smile was still painted to his lips. This one i might have to take the risk for. He yawn then, "mmm how much time left do you think until we get there?" he enquired looking to Elizabeth who had been listening and observing. "We shall be there shortly."
Aven began to take an interest in Damien comparing him to Jareth. Damien came out in the lead.
Opaaru ... If only there were more men like Damien back home...
In return for her forgiveness he told the story of Jareth and the Pageboy.
Willow-sama Damien laughed heartily at that, "Oh I have many to tell milady." he nodded, "Alright, alright you win.” He thought a moment before beginning, “Well it was the time of the Devils Masquerade and as usual most of the women were fawning over Jareth, of course he didn’t look distressed one bit.” He moved his cane bearing hand, tapping the golden stick upon the stone thrice times before it disappeared from hand. Both hands then mirrored one another while he held them out as if we was about to offer her a dish of sorts. Suddenly upon his hands a mist appeared towering but just a few inches above his palm, swirling and twisting within itself. He continued his tale and his words weaved into the memory within, painting a picture of the evening he was describing “I sat along the side mind you, just observing and keeping to my own thoughts when I noticed a little servant boy scuffled in the corner staring at the king most hungrily.” The fog showed a faint picture of Damien dressed in a flashing display of gold’s and browns. His bright Yellow eyes hide behind a black mask of a cat which accented well with his robes. Damien of the mist looked towards a boy hiding in the corner with amusement playing in his fanged smile. Scrawny yet beautiful, the black haired boy was gowned in a dark purple page boy’s outfit, his eyes big and wondering with only fifteen years of wisdom. “I couldn’t help myself for I truly wished to know what was bothering the boy. Had he lost his master? Was he feeling sick? So I went away from the dancing, music and chatting to stand besides him.” Damien slipped through the crowd like the cat he was and stood besides the boy without making an audible sound. ‘Child what is wrong?’ Damien asked, the voice coming out in an echo as Damien voiced over it with his own speaking. The servant jumped earning an even bigger grin from the Prince of Cats. ‘Come now I will not hurt you.’ There was silence in the mist as Damien spoke for it. “He was silent for quite a while,” Damien of this present shrugged slightly in his guiltiness, “Until I ‘persuaded’ him with my ruling to tell me.” Damien of the present smirked at this, “It seemed the boy had been smitten by the female that was being bombarded by the gibbering Underground girls which surrounded her.” The mist turned to the girl in the middle with wild blonde locks and mismatched eyes. “He figured her to be a tomboy of sorts because of her dressing habits.” Present Damien had to outright laugh at this. The female in the middle was dressed in dark blues that brang out her mystifying eyes, though more of a male outfit it could have possibly been fitted to be a woman’s figure as well. You could see the wheels turning in the Prince’s eyes as he heard those words from the boy. Holding out his hand a glass of red wine appeared. He knelt down and offered it to the boy, telling him to bring it to his love and perhaps she would dance with him in return. The boy was doubtful and embarrassed but with an encouraging push from Damien, a body of dark purple began to bob its way through the colorful array of clothing. Shouting was soon after heard and a crash of glass upon floor. The room was suddenly quiet and the boy came running red in the face towards Damien. Like the red sea the crowd had parted as a lone figure stood amidst it, clad in blue. Jareth the Goblin king stood with a stain of red wine upon his frilled shirt the remnants of it laid to his feet mingling with the fragments of a crystal wine glass. With that Damien parted his hands and let the mist slip away, his face held hidden terror and guilt. “lets just say it didn’t end well.”

Part 2
Damien and Sky then depart from Aven and Elizabeth's company. Before leaving, the cat prince leaves a silver bell with Aven for her to ring if he is needed. Alone within Damien's chambers, he explains to Sky a few things about Vampires and their habits, briefly touching upon Jareth's treatment of her and how blind the Goblin King could be. The rest of the conversation is a combination of light flirting along with catching up. Damien regrets not being able to spend more time with her. After a while the two decide to help Anya who has unfortunately fallen into an oubliette.
The oubliette is a well-like one which is composed of a water element. By using Damien's superb eyesight and shape-shifting skills they manage to get a vine to Anya. Then with her bow, the girl shoots the vine out of the Oubliette and Sky ties off the end providing an escape. After the grueling ordeal the three veer off to some nearby hotsprings to clean up. Once there Damien grudgingly takes a swim. Amidst playful banter Sky begins to make romantic insinuations to Damien who is both caught off guard and shocked. Avoiding any definite answer, Damien exits the water and poofs into a Jareth outfit musing about how if he only had the eyes and a little more attitude he could pass as the Goblin King. Not one minute later Sky comes on to Damien again. Having had enough of Sky's obvious attempts to seduce him, Damien takes Sky and magically transports her to her chambers to have a talk.
Once within the chamber the cat prince corners Sky and demands to know why she was playing seductress. Through bits and pieces, Damien gets his answer. At the core of all of Sky's actions is the jealousy she feels towards Aven and the feeling of being alone. Her feelings of solitude lead her to seek Damien as comfort so that they could be "alone together". Damien refuses her advances stating how he would never have Sky's heart since it belonged to Jareth. The cat prince's thoughts shift fleetingly towards Aven during the conversation but he quickly recovers and tells Sky that Jareth will see how much he needs her someday. Then came the shocking confession:
youngshorty "It shouldn't take him ten years to notice, Damien. My heart was never given to Jareth. I've always loved you...I've just never figure out how to say so." She kissed him softly. "And I'm not playing this time. I've liked Jareth, may have flirted with him, but my heart was never serious."
Willow-sama Damien's eyes widened. He stood there with shock. She never loved him? These long years of turning his gaze to think of other things rather then feel the pang of regret when she looked at Jareth that way. When they shared an embrace. He shook his head, was this a trick to satisfy her loneliness, he shunned himself. She would not be so harsh. What would Jareth think? What about Aven? Or...was she just saying this to ease his own pains? He was confused. "We should get back to Anya." he mumbled
The two return to Anya's side and walk through wondering about certain aspects of the Labyrinth and its ruler namely had they broken any rules by helping Anya out of the Oubliette, and would Anya and Aven gain magical powers if they got to stay? After some walking they heard a horrible howl which turned out to be Ludo with his leg full of thorns. The three then hurried to help the wounded yeti.

Part 3
Damien left a bell in Aven's hand and after his deperture the scientist's thoughts turn from happy to dark.
Opaaru Willow-sama He looked down and nodded. "I suppose that would be wise." turning to the other two he bowed low, "I know i shall be seeing you both soon." his eyes wavered on Aven, " I shall be checking up on you very soon." Holding out his hand he grasped Avens and tenderly graced his lips upon her palm. He smiled leaving something in her hand as he disapeared with Sky. It was a bell, his voice echoed in the clearing one last time, "Ring this if you should need me." Aven chuckled picturing Jareth's face within her minds eye once more. She didn't know if he would have been angry or just simply mortified at being confused for a woman. Ah the burden of being an androgynous sex magnet.
Aven blushed at Damien's departure. Even though he was unpredictably fun, the cat still managed to be a gentleman. She looked at the silver bell in her hand fondly. It gleamed reflecting the fireflies' twinkling lights. The scientist involuntarily caught her reflection within the silvery surface. It was like a bucket of cold water had poured over her. She saw her indoorishly pale face devoid of make-up quite clearly. Her hair though dark as ink, was tied back in a sensible knot. Even after undergoing corrective laser surgery, she still looked like the type who would wear glasses. Aven knew she wasn't beautiful, or even pretty. Her eyes were too tired from hours of strenuous work, and even if her face wasn't streaked with blood and grime she would hardly pass for more than plain. She had none of Elizabeth's softness of Sky's entrancing mystery. Her only thing of value was her mind.
"Call, if you should need me Avy..." said a voice in her head, except it wasn't Damien.
The thought struck her of what had happened a year before. She had loved someone before, a man who had made her feel beautiful in the same way Damien made her feel. They had even made plans to spend their lives together. But that was before she found him with one of his more attractive students. Her eyes bacame cold and distant. It was a lie.
"Julian..." she breathed with a coldness so intense it almost warped her voice. Clenching her hand around the bell she flung it as far away from her as she could. Too many memories...too much, I won't fall again...
By throwing the bell Aven made it ring and thusly called Damien. The cat prince abandoned Ludo's side and was followed by Sky who hid behind a tree as she stared at the scene a bit of jealously. Damien felt hurt at Aven's blatant rejection, but the girl explained it wasn't his fault. Promising he could change, the cat prince changed into a human before her eyes. Aven then told him she was the one who needed to change after which Damien hugged her and spun her around stating: "You don't need to change one bit." That earned him a quick kiss on the cheek from Aven. Damien then calls to Sky and tells her to come out of hiding. Aven realizes Sky was spying on her much to her chagrin.
Damien then suggests that Elizabeth take Aven through a shortcut. Elizabeth does so by revealing a secret tunnel behind and beneath one of the walls. Damien then decided to check up on Ludo leaving Sky, Aven, and Elizabeth alone in the shortcut. The tunnel is dark but within the darkness Aven stumbles upon a somewhat frightening secret.
Opaaru The scientist smiled to herself. She cautiously stepped off the staircase and onto the tunnel floor.
It was amazingly well ventilated and seemed solid despite having nothing to brace it. Magic no doubt was the only thing it needed. As her hands touched the opposite wall, her fingertips brushed against the old carvings. The wall seemed to depict a man whose face had worn away. He was standing over a woman with ancient robes draped over her. She was no expert, but it looked like a medieval peasant. She moved the phone so it shone light upon the next panel. This time, it was a different woman in colonial clothes cowering before Jareth (for she could now tell it was he). The panels seemed chaotic some were so old their carvings had erroded into oblivion, and yet right next to it there would be one that couldn't be more than a few decades old. In the bottom right hand corner there were words chistled into the stone. They were the names of women, written in different alphabets but names nonetheless. She read the colonial woman's writting.
"'Esther of Salem - Claimed by the Goblin King'," she read in a solemn tone. It was the same with every legible panel. A woman cowering before the Goblin king and beneath their carved forms:"'Deidre of Sevenwaters, Tara of Cornwall, Gloria of Comarca, Marie of Paris...-Claimed by the Goblin King'. What does that mean? They all lost?"
Suddenly she approached a set of panels the one in the middle looked as if the artesan had just finished the piece while the ones flanking it were blank. Aven inhaled sharply as she saw the one with the completed carving. It was a woman in modern-ish clothes wielding a sword and impaling a man with it. Her face was clear and defiant while the Goblin King's refelected the deepest sort of pain and desolation. Her heart constricted at the sight.
"'Sarah of Oakland... " she read quietly and paused "...- HE was Vanquished by her Hand'"
She tore herself from the gruesome sight and stared at one of the blank panels. At the bottom it read: 'Aven of Los Angeles - '. She was part of the wall, though it was undecided what would happen, one thing she knew. No matter how cruel he could become, she would never let him experience that sort of pain again. Not by my hand.
Then Elizabeth found her tablet.
Willow-sama Her eyes widened to that of silver dollars. “Elizabeth of Seattle,” she whispered out loud, her eyes dragged slowly upwards to meet the cold gaze of her own. She backed up, “Claimed by the Goblin King” she mouthed, she place her hand to her lips, her eyes licking the length of the long gashing crack that ran through the picture of her standing below the Goblin King, goblins pulling her down, forcing her to bow. She must have been inching back even more so for she felt her back touch stone
Elizabeth then states how she has a hidden resentment and anger towards Jareth. Though the labyrinth was the stuff of her dreams, Jareth simply defeated her then cast her aside. Her punishment for "wasting the goblin king's time" was 13 years of servitude.
Willow-sama She continued at last as she let silence settle over them for only a short while. “And so I read those words over and over until I could memorize the story the warn pages were speaking to me. In the end what did I do? I had immaturely yelled the sacred wish towards the skies when my brothers misbehaved.” She cursed softly, “and yet my strength was silent but it was still there and still he could not see I was worthy.” She looked up to Aven her eyes beginning to water. "I made no friends along my journey, and I had only seen Jareth but twice. What I thought I could find here that I could not find at home I never found. In the end I lost and offered to take their places in exchange for thirteen years of servitude, thirteen years for thirteen hours I wasted of his time.”
Aven took the crack in the panel to mean that though Elizabeth was "claimed" the goblin king doesn't have complete control over her. Meanwhile, Sky found her own panel and pondered about just why she was so jealous of Aven. Within her thoughts she establishes that though she gave Jareth her vow of servitude, her heart had never been in the bargain. She would serve Jareth but her heart could love another.
Aven then stated that both she and Elizabeth had a lot in common and admits that at this point the scientist didn't really know what she wanted from Jareth. The one thing Aven is certain of is that she will not inflict pain upon Jareth. Aven took Sarah's actions to be like killing magic itself. Sky then said magic can never be killed. Sky's entire mood then shifts to a happy one since the realization that she can love whoever she wants. Aven notices it but only lightly questions it since the friendly behaviour creeps her out. The three girls then continue on their way through a path that reminds Aven of the Great Wall of China. The Fiery Forest lays below the grand structure.

Part 4
Damien left briefly to the feline kingdom to visit his family. There he met up with his twin sister Kay and his little sister Noble. He spoke to Kay about Sky's confusing problems and then took his two sister to visit Jareth's Kingdom. Once there Kay speaks with Sky and the facts are further clarified. Skyler states once and for all the relationship between herself and Jareth.
youngshorty The white feline chirped. "Hello, Skyling." Her tail swayed as her ears twitched. She simply stood there in the room. "Kaylana?" Sky gave a half smile. "What brings you here?" She recongized Damien's twin sister. "My brother tells me you're not yourself. What's wrong, Sky?" Sky's mood changed from being happy and upbeat to silence she was use to giving. Kay reached out, taking Sky's hand and tugging until both girls sat on the bed, sky's hands in kay's. "Just start talking, please? He says you've been acting wierd." Sky lifted a confused look to meet Kaylana's. "My world's turned upside down. I've told you of my deal with Jareth. I feel alone when around him. In ten years, Kay, what made Jareth suddenly decide to kiss me?" Kay's eyes widdened. "he finally kissed you?" A smirk came to Sky. "Yea....ten years though...ten years of waiting for him to do that...just simply that....yet it's not what I wanted. I feel so alone even with him around. I only promised him my servitude...never my heart nor my love." "You don't love him...not really." She nodded. "No, I don't...I thought I did but I don't. I only work for him." "So who do you love?" Kay was very curious. The only other man she's known Skyling to hang out with was her twin brother. She gasped. "You don't mean....You're in love with my brother?!" Sky's blush was all Kay needed. "Have you not told him?" Sky shifted. "Not exactly...I didn't tell him I loved him...not in those words. I told him I didn't love Jareth and my heart never belonged to the King." Kay pouted. "Then why are you so down about it?" "Damien...He likes Aven..." "So, Sky? Damie's a pervert and he flirts with all women." "No...not what I meant. He...oh forget it." Sky closed her eyes and drew her knees up. Kay poked her. "No...no forgetting it. He loves you and you know that. He's just being a pain and is probably confused." "I'm alone Kay...Even in a world of where loneliness shouldn't reach, I'm alone." Kay frowned more. "You're giving up and that's not you. You fight harder than anyone I know for what you want." "I've never asked for anything for myself, since I've been here. I can't force him to return any feelings I feel for him." "No you can't. But you've taken the first step. and who's this Aven?" "A human..." "I see...you're letting a human get the best of you, Sky." Kay hugged her friend. "What does Jareth think?" "He doesn't know, I don't think and I don't care..." She hugged her knees, resting her chin on her arms. ...
Kay returns and meets with Damien. Both go to a private place to speak and Kay lets Damien know Sky's feelings for him. The cat prince doesn't really know how to respond since he doesn't feel like he can return Sky's love so suddenly. Moreover, they're worried about Jareth's reaction to it all. Rather than face the Goblin King immediately, Damien decides to wait until Aven and Anya have finished running the labyrith before undergoing any kind of confrontation. The stall will also give him time to sort out his feelings and determine whether he can learn to love Sky.
Meanwhile in the Fiery Forest Reu the Labyrith's bookeeper/organizer is working on aspects which need Jareth's attention
Opaaru Brazen-Amereu was absorbed in his work. He was surrounded by stacks of papers. About half a dozen quills were magically scribbling information upon forms and reports as he mumbled to himself. The elf was the Labyrinth's official librarian, book-keeper, record-keeper, and every sort of "dull beurocratic" keeper job Jareth detested. As such it was Reu's duty to keep the labyrinth running smoothly, record and administer everything, while at the same time playing ambasador and keeping Jareth's allies fully informed of the situation in the Tea Cup Kingdom.
Technically Reu's "official" title was: High Prince Brazen-Amereu of the Elven Realms. But he was known as Reu. Brazen was a grave misnomer for the elven prince, since he was everything but. Even the ladies of the court snickered at the mention of his name. It wasn't that Reu was unsightly to look at, in fact he was quite attractive for an elf, but alas it was widely known he had no skill at anything elves were supposed to excell at.
His singing had been compared by his instructor as "a cat trying to relieve itself through a sewed up bum". When his father sent him off to train as an archer, he somehow managed to shoot two people behind him and himself on the first tries. During his riding lesson, he managed to break his leg BEFORE he got on the horse. Were he to go fishing Reu would fall out of the boat. It didn't help that he was easily flustered and given to panic attacks. At one point, a girl traversing the labyrinth had dubbed him Ichabod Crane, a title which he resented despite being unable to refute it.
Therefore, although he was first in line for the crown along with his twin, rather than be saddled with half a realm to rule, he willingly gave up the position wishing nothing more than to fade into obscurity. And so poor little Ichabod...er...Rue, found a purpose by dealing with Jareth's sensible books. He was currently in the Fiery Forest working peacefully away from the ruckus of goblins and the clashing of their armor. The Fiery's knew better than to bother the librarian, for although he might trip on his own two feet, Reu was a superb mage.
"You Royal Highnesses, I regretfully inform that although the threat of civil war was successfully dispersed etc. etc. the quota of the Tea Cup Kingdom's exports cannot be met due to shortages or manpower, elfpower, felinepower, etc. etc..." he dictated and a silver quill jotted down the message, "on a side note...Reminder: Request that his highness King Jareth PLEASE ESTABLISH THE LOCATION OF THE NEXT MASCARADE BALL. That man should have chosen a place since last week. The decorators are getting impatient and threatening to boycott. On a side side note...send extra 10- no, make it 6% pay increase as appeasement to the decorators. Back to script...Inquire about possible new additions to the harem quarters and possible new occupants...Have Jareth- scratch that. MAKE Jareth determine the labyrinth's current magic content. The annual examination is at least two months overdue. Have it on my desk by next week..."
He went on dictating and chiding the goblin king under his breath as the quills recorded it all. Unknown to him, Anya and Ludo were heading close to his haven.
Anya and Ludo come across his open-air office. At first, Reu is annoyed and flustered to learn that Jareth has taken the liberty of introducing more women into the labyrinth without bothering to tell him. As is his job, Reu begins taking Anya's information so as to place them in the Labyrinth's records.
All during this time, Aven has been left alone with Elizabeth and Noble. The three stumble across a strange small chimera that calls herself Fortunada. She delivers a cryptic message.
Opaaru Aven smiled down at the kitten.
"Well, if one of your friends has another one, you push these little buttons and you can talk to them. And if you push this button...you'll see pictures of where I live."
So absorbed in her explanation was Aven, that she didn't notice the person in front of her until it was too late. She almost bumped into the creature and had to raise the torch over her head in order not to burn anything.
The creature was obviously a female since it was garbed in what looked like a gypsy girl's outfit, but that was the only thing remotely familiar about it. It was about 4'6" tall and it's feet and body looked a bit like a rabbit's except its head looked more like an antelope's and there were two fox-like ears poking from the top of it's head. A long silky tail flowed behing her sort of like the kind you would see on a longhaired cat.
"What is it? Never seen a chimera before?" the creature asked in a rich spanish accent.
"Yes...well actually, no, I'm sorr-" Aven replied but was quicky cut off as the little chimera huffed.
The creature jabbed a clawed finger at the scientist and the golden bracelets on her wrist jangled, "Aven should be more careful where she is going. You came through the space of memory. If you're not careful who knows where you will end up."
"How did you-"
"I know many things. My name is Fortunada. I also know what you seek Aven of Los Angeles...buscas el corazon del rey. Pero este no te sera dado voluntariamente. Tendras que ser ruda, y tendras que arrancarselo por la fuerza, o te convertiras en parte de las tinieblas," she pointed to Elizabeth.
(Translation: You seek the heart of the King. But this shall not be given to you willingly. You will have to be ruthless and you will have to tear it from him by force or you will be come part of the shadows.)
Aven blinked. "Is that what's in the middle of the castle?" she asked.
"It's what you wish isn't it?" Fortunada asked with a knowing glimmer in her eye. "Only one way to find out."
"Can't you just tell me?!" Aven exclaimed, "is that what's at stake or not?"
"I don't presume to know everything," the chimera sniffed, "even the king is allowed his secrets. You want to know. You keep walking then. I suggest you hurry up."
With that the chimera skidded past them on all fours and disappeared over the ledge into the forest below.
Elizabeth didn't understand the language so she asked Aven what it had meant. Aven, driven by a feeling that she shouldn't reveal it all gave her a half-truth explanation claiming she hadn't really understood it all. Noble was frightened by the strange creature and as Aven comforted the kitten. As the scientist began to wonder what kind of night predators roamed the Labyrinth, she saw that Fortunata had left behind a rapier for her to use. It was particularly odd since to Aven's knowledge, no one in the Labyrinth knew she could fence. The scientist then decides to cut through the forest since it looks like the shortest route to the castle. As she enters the woods the group is surrounded by Fieries who start singing and acting wild. All in all they remind Aven of a toddler with ADD. She tries to scare them away by telling them she stole the Goblin King's magic sword, and whoever's around it when she finds them will get thrown into the bog. It fails when one of the Fieries asks what the bog was.
Finally before they drive Aven TOO crazy Sky shows up. Having finished her sulking an partial crying on her own she and practically chases them away. Aven questions Sky's motives but the only answer she is able to get is:
youngshorty On the sudden change in attitude, she simply smiled. "Let's just say I've done a little thinking, soul searching and Jareth doesn't know me as well as he thinks he does."
