So when exactly did this idea of a brilliant pairing stike you? Was it ever since you first set eyes on the lovely two... or is it just a recent appeal? Or maybe it struck you somewhere halfway through the series...

I'd love to say that it struck me like a bolt of lightning, the first time I ever saw the two of them in the same screenshot.
...nope. Didn't happen quite like that.
I was wasting time, as I always do, on FF.N. I was just getting into Naruto at the time, and it seemed like a good idea at the time. Kakashi fascinated me - the rest of Team Seven was just ehhh...except I never went through an "OMGSASUKE<333" phase. My forays into the fandom were actually for NaruSaku, because it was the only one I could really see.
But as I became more familiar with the characters, and with the anime, I started looking into the alternative pairings. And I was actually a little surprised by how much I liked KakaSaku. Sure, it was unlikely - then again, I also had the biggest crush on one of my teachers when I was around her age ( empathy is a good thing ).
I've since developed many other reasons for being in love with the idea of those two together. But the fact that I didn't love them right away says a lot - I don't think she loves him right off the bat, either.

it's funny though, during the time of my 'OMGSASUKE<33' phase... i was still always rooting for narusaku. sasusaku NEVER even HIT me as a possible pairing... then again, i wasn't really into naruto pairings at the time... but hmmmm....

For me -- I was a SasuSaku fan and then I decided that Sasuke was retarded. Then Naruto came into the picture, and I said. . . he's NARUTO. Hinata's for him. XD But who would have Sakura? Then I just started looking up pairings, reading Fanfiction, and it progressed into obsession. heart

Actually, i started loving the pairing when i saw this fanart of them. This specific fanart was done for this fanfiction which I ended up reading. it was super good and I started reading more! Now i love the pairing biggrin

I'm one who falls in love with parings set up by basic standards, but thanks to KakaSaku, I'm now able to see other possible parings. heart Yah it was like that for me at first. My last obsession was Inuyasha (I still do love it) and at first, I loved the regular Kag/Inu pairing, but then, I started liking Sessh/Kag! But I never fully converted. But this time I did. At first, I was all about Sasu/Saku. But that's all over now!
(Though I still do enjoy cute fanart of them >.>)

I'm one of the ppl who got into KakaSaku recently. XP I never even saw them as a couple but I met a few friends here wo like the pairing and send me some fanarts and I just couldn't help but loving the couple! <3
