Though it is a sad thing that hardly anyone knows about ska anymore, (walk up to someone and say, "HEY YOU WANNA GO SKANK TO THE NEW REEL BIG FISH ALBUM!" they'll probally look at you retarded.) it's kind of refreshing. Unlike general punk music, ska isn't being perverted into whinny emo crap...ska is still SKA. Granted there are various forms of ska (ska-punk is my personal favorite) but it's very rare to hear of a ska band "selling out" (there are a few who have just stoped playing ska all together like No Doubt, and I'm sure most of their fans don't even know what ska is let alone they used to play it.)....
I have now forgotten where I was going with this, due to something shiny crossing my path. time to go back to the real world I guess.
(btw I know I haven't posted in a LOOOOOOOONG time but Hello everyone great to see this place is still alive and kickin'.)

...lots of people know what ska is...
And lots of ska bands have "sold out"
just like any other genre of music.
for the msot part of ska.."no horns, no way"..XP stupid bosstones coming up with stupid sayings...
I dont know anyone who would go up to anyone and say "hey you wanna go skank to the new reel big fish album?"
Maybe a "hey you wanna go listen.." .
Ska has gotten pretty big, atleast around here its coming back
But most people only know the mighty mighty bosstones, reel big fish, aquabats..ect.
