My son is 2 years old 2 months and we are trying to potty train him. He loves to play with his p***s and since we cant keep it in his diaper we thought hey, a good way to let him play productively is to let him try to potty! ********, we were soooo wrong. Lately he has been taking it out of his diaper and peeing all over his bedroom! He will go to play in his room, sneak it out and piss on anything he can aim it at. It began as a problem when he kept playing with it in his sleep, pulling it out of the top of his diaper, and waking me up when he was totally soaked. So Id put him in a onsie with crotch snaps and he still could get it out the sides. So I put him in pants and a onsie, good call but his room gets hot so I cant do it all of the time.
My son has an unusually large p***s, takes after his father I guess, so its hard getting him to keep it in his pants. I would love some advice from other moms of little boys that have ever experienced this issue. God how I loved how my daughter potty trained in a week! No pissing on anything!
Also, we tried putting his potty chair in his room thinking maybe if he had to pee he might use it instead of his piano, toy chest etc......I found him yesterday asleep on it. He apparently uses it as a chair when he watches movies.

Well it's been a long time since I had to potty train. But, I don't remember having issues with my son whipping it out just anywhere. I wish I had something to say to help! Good luck HypatiaMuse.

Wow.. My boy didn't do that.

He's now almost 18, and I can't really remember what it took to get him to potty train. I know he liked "target practice" with Cheerios in the toilet... That might encourage him to go where he's supposed to.

Good luck.

Good idea cambrylyd... rofl rofl I have two girls (19 and 27) so potty training is ancient history for me...
