Well I was hoping to hear other peoples animal encounters, since I have had many. I think I'll share some.

Ok well I was going to my cousins house and I saw her horse. He was very mean and wild but for some reason he walked up to me and looked me in the eye. It made me feel like he was looking into my soul. He let me ride him after that. And I felt a strange connection with him.

Also just recently I was working on something. And I was studying how crows work in the mystical area. I was working outside. And three crows landed infront of me. I have sketches of them but it made me think for a little bit that I had some strange connection with animals.

Please share your stories and I will try to share my opinion if I can. Also you can share any stories that would have to do with animals and the spirit world. 3nodding

Had a cool experience with one of the Painted Turtles in my Mom's pond yesterday.

We always go down there with a couple of slices of bread to feed the fish and critters. So it isn't uncommon to see the turtles booting it from their log on the otherside of the pond to join in on the feast. But this guy wasn't interested in the bread. He came straight over to my Mom and I, and as close to us as the pond would allow without having to leave the water. Then he streached his head out as far as it would go and stared at us. He was so close that if I had bent over I could have easily touched his shell. But figured that might spook him. I was content just saying hello and checking out his shell pattern. He stared at us for about a minute, but then some of the fish started getting bold and going after the bread beside him. He didn't like that and started chasing them off.

Thats interesting. Its strange to understand how animals work in the spirit world. That is what am studying now. But people say sometimes you have a stronge relationship with some types of animals. I always loved turtles though. whee

Animal guides/totems/magic is an area I've been slowly working on. Trying to learn the messages they have to say during those unique experiences with them. I've had Turtle come up before. And leard it is usually when I am about to do some "Earth" related work.

My favorite Turtle experience was really cool. It was in the spring when I was walking around the pond and I saw one of the turtles sunning on the bank. But there was something odd about its shell. When I picked it up I saw that a paper thin layer from its top plates was peeling off. One imediately fell into my hand the second peice came off when I touched it. I had never heard of a turtles shell peeling like that and was worried that something was wrong with it. So I looked it over, but other than it freaking out because I was hanging onto it, it seemed ok. I put it back where I found it and ran to show my parents the peices. They had never heard about it either and even though we looked through tones of books in hopes to find some info on it, but we never did. Funny thing is I have never seen anything like it since. I still have the 2 peices. They are glued to a leather pouch as the shell to a turtle drawing I made.

Cool... Sounds dangerous though. But if you give the animal a feeling that you're not dangerous it will probably mind its own business.

I'm going to have to get my Animal Speak book back from my sister
She borrowed it because she wanted to find out the totems for a friend of hers then do a painting of them. But she hasn't given it back yet and that book comes in handy some days

i am not to sure if this is anything out of the ordanry or not but i will tell you anyway. Ever since i was little no matter what type of dog they will not bite me i have walked up to a few of those fighting dogs and they lick my hand i have never been bitten by a dog it is weird they that never growl at me or anything they just wander up to me and let me pet them. Is this a normal thing?

Of it's a dog that isen't friendly with anyone and you have never met it befor then I'de say yeah. Animals work in odd ways or so we think just because we can't ask them what they are thinking I love animals they are so great! xd

So long as a critter doesn't consider you a threat or a good meal it won't attack.

A friend of mine has an interesting encounter with a skunk last year. He had gone out into the alley way between my house and the neighbors one night and felt something rubbing around his leg. Thinking it was a cat he was going to bend over and give it a pet, but saw instead it was a skunk. Eventually the skunk continued on its way and my friend came into the house shaking because he thought he was going to get sprayed.

hm, the only intresting animal story i have happened yesterday actually. i was riding my bike when i came accross a black cat that i'm assuming was stray (but my brother said i probably shouldn't take it home since it could be someone's outdoor cat) and i walked up to it and it just kept looking at me. when i came closer to see if it had some sort of collar, it rolled over at my feet and started purring. if nothing else, it was very cute smile

My cat is black with 4 small white spots on her throat, tummy and each armpit
Her fur is as black as obsidian, and her white looks like snowflakes
