Alrighty, this is how it is... This started as an RP open to everyone. However, due to how things are going and from what I have heard, we are encouraged to continue this RP with only Negative_X and me RP'ing... So, we no longer need any more characters and this will basically be a performance or a story for all to read, but we will be the ones doing the whole thing... I apologize to all those that showed interest in joining, and to those who already had characters claimed...
So, sit back and enjoy the story...
The original text that was here is still in existence, just not on Gaia
And please do not post here unless your name is EXACTLY Negative_X or Red Crosell XIII
Negative X:
Neither of us wish any offence to anyone who was orignally a part of this Roleplay. We are doing this mainly because we were told it would be a good idea and that it probably would help the guild aswell.

Squall looked out over the deck of the Garden. They were flying over the Centra continent just then. He was thinking of Rinoa and her decision to go back to the now-independent Timber. In fact, he noticed the Garden seemed quiet due to the fact that many of the party had left for their own reasons. Quistis still remained on the Garden since she really has nowhere else to go. Zell is in Balamb with his mother. Irvine went back to the partially-reconstructed Galbadia Garden to reconnect with some of the friends he had there (Squall had an out-of-character smirk when he thought of this, as, knowing Irvine, "friends" meant cute girls). Selphie went back to Trabia Garden and is currently helping with the reconstruction. While lost in his thoughts, Squall looked out and noticed a chocobo heading towards the Garden down below. He went to the bridge and ordered them to land. As Squall exited the Garden, he was greeted by a somewhat familiar voice, as the boy from the chocobo forests had dismounted. "Hey there Squall, it's been awhile!" he started, "Business is horrible without you." Squall gave his 'I don't care look' and started to turn back to the Garden. "Wow, aren't we cold. I came here for a reason you know." Squall stopped and stood silent, almost debating whether or not to pay attention, then finally, "......what is it?" "I was told to give this to you." the boy handed Squall an envelope, "Well, I say 'told', it was more or less..." the boy paused, "Well, I can't describe it." Squall took the envelope and his interest seemed to be piqued by the boy's odd declarative, "What are you talking about? Who wanted you to give this to me? Why didn't this person just come to the Garden himself?" The boy shuddered. "It was kind of scary actually... You know how I spend my time in the chocobo forests, right? Well, I was just in the Grandidi Forest and... Let me just start saying monsters don't enter the chocobo forests... It has something to do with the chocobos' essences or something... Well anyway, I was in the chocobo forest in Grandidi Forest, when a dragon entered. I know what dragons can do, and I usually see them while riding between the forests... This was a type of dragon I had never seen... It was white... I started to panic and ran to the chocobo, but the dragon jumped in between me and the chocobo... I was also scared because usually chocobos will attack monsters, but that one wasn't doing a thing..." Squall seemed to be losing interest, but continued to listen to the kid's story, but said anyway, "Get to the point." "Alright... That dragon... It gave me this and I got this image of you in my head... I figured it wanted me to give it to you. After I asked if that was the case, it flew off, without answering. So here I am. I'll be heading back now." the boy looked at Squall and said, "The delivery charge is 10,000 gil." Squall rolled his eyes and sighed, "I'm not paying you anything; you volunteered to bring it here." "Awww, c'mon!" the kid cried out, "I told you business has been terrible, have a heart!" Squall handed him 4,000 gil, "Take it or leave it." The boy took it, "Thanks, I'll remember this next time you need a chocobo." and with that, he mounted his chocobo and left. Squall turned and entered the Garden, envelope in hand. As the Garden started to move again, he went to the dorms to rest up, and as he laid back into his bed, he opened the envelope and pulled out a letter:
"To whomever this concerns, I wish to hire SeeD for an unset period of time. I am willing to pay whatever is necessary, and I hope you can help me, as I am uncertain if your organization specializes in what services I require. If you are interested in my situation, or would like to hear more detail, meet me at the Centra ruins. Show the Tonberries this letter. -Guile"
Upon finishing reading the letter, Squall set it down and went to sleep.

[For those who do not know... This is my first Roleplay] Sitting behind a desk stacked with important documents and an even larger stack of magazines entitled "Timber Maniac's" some dating back 17 years ago was a man. The man, with long dark brown hair and the complextion of someone in their mid Fourties, was looking at a framed photograph that he usually kept on his desk. It was a photo of him and his Late wife Raine, a girl slightly younger than himself who at the time the picture was taken must have been in her mid twenties. She was beautiful, long brown hair, fair skin. It's been nearly Twenty years since the accident that claimed her life. As the man stared at his lost love, a tear formed in his blue-green eyes. He let it fall. "Mr. President?" One of his employee's asked. "Yes?" The President of Esthar, Laguna Loire replied as he set the photograph down on his desk. "Your car is ready sir. Are you?" After wipeing the tear away and touching the face of Raine's photograph. He replied, "Yes." Laguna stood up and walked through the open door, when outside he stepped into the back of the presidential transport vehicle. -3 Days Later- Laguna stepped out of the car and muttered "I'm home." Under his breath. He looked around at the town that housed himself and his Lovely wife. Memories came back to him. Running through the town hunting monsters, playing with Ellone, Raine and his first kiss together... He felt a tear come to his eyes again, He wiped it away as if there was someone who would see. He walked into the Pub/Inn where he first met Raine, where Raine nursed him back to health. He went up to the counter and bought a room, when asked his name, he replied "Zack... Trepp" He desided not to use his real name... He didn't want people to know he was here. "Alright then Mr. Trepp. Your room is right up those stairs and third door on the left. Here's your key." The attendent said. "Thank you." Laguna replied and walked up to his room. He unpacked and laid down. Just when he was about to doze off he heard a scream from outside. He looked out his window. Half a dozen Goblin's were attacking a young girl. Laguna ran to his pack and pulled our his Machine Gun. He ran outside and the group of Goblins turned towards him. They looked at eachother and grumbled in their native tounge, then turned towards Laguna with daggers at the ready. Laguna cocked his Machine Gun and circled around them so that he was between the girl and the Goblins. "...La...Laguna?" The girl said before she passed out. Laguna turned to the Goblins and attacked. After a good 15 minutes or so the Goblins were demolished and the girl was safe. Laguna took her in to the Inn and up to a room to lay her down. The town Medic came in and inspected her. "She's just unconcious, that was very kind of you Laguna." "It was no probl- s**t..." Laguna had blown his cover. "Do not fret, I will not tell anyone Mr. Loire, you have my word." The Medic said. "Thank yo-" Laguna was interupted by the slamming open of the rooms door. It was one of his Employees from Esthar. "Mr. President, Sir. I'm sorry for barging in like this but, we intercepted this a few hours before you left for Winfall. It looked important, so the Presidentcy sent me to bring it to you, here." The man said as he handed Laguna an envelope. Laguna opened it and read it to himself, "To whomever this concerns, I wish to hire SeeD for an unset period of time. I am willing to pay whatever is necessary, and I hope you can help me, as I am uncertain if your organization specializes in what services I require. If you are interested in my situation, or would like to hear more detail, meet me at the Centra ruins. Show the Tonberries this letter. -Guile" After he read the letter, he folded it back into the envelope and placed it in his pocket. "Sir?" Laguna's employee asked. "I must leave back to Esthar. Have the preporation's for "The Machine" been compleated?" Laguna replied to his employee. "I believe they have sir." The employee said after thinking. "Good, farewell Medic, give the girl this when she awakens, please?" Laguna said to the Medic handing him an Esthar Presidency Pin. "I will sir. Goodluck with things." The medic wished. "Thank you." Laguna thanked and left to pack his things and leave. {What could this "Guile" Character want? The letter said he's recruiting SeeD. Could that mean... Squall?}

-back to Squall, he recieved the letter about 3 days after Esthar intercepted the contents of it... how they did it will be unveiled later, but for now, it remains unknown.-
"Ugh..." A groggy Squall awoke and picked up the strange letter. He read it again and again, and finally decided to check it out. He wasn't just thrilled over having to deal with Tonberries, as they tend to be rather vicious. Squall started for the bridge, but on his way a voice called out to him. "Squall!" Quistis shouted from behind him, "What is going on? We stopped yesterday and you stepped out, and since then you haven't said a word." Squall "This doesn't con..." "...cern you." Quistis finished for him, "You've been our leader for some time now, I thought you had grown out of that shell." Squall sighed, "Don't you have a class to teach? You know we gave you the position back so..." Quistis interrupted, "Fortunately for you, I do have a class to instruct. Just promise me you won't go off doing anything risky by yourself." "Whatever..." Squall looked away as Quistis walked off. Upon reaching the bridge, Squall immediately started, "Head for the Centra ruins." "What's there that you can't say please?" Xu asked jokingly. "Business..." Squall replied, "You know very well, there hasn't been much work for SeeD these days." Nida interrupted, "Alright, heading for Centra ruins." Xu started, "Business? There? Why would anyone be there, and then why would they be interested in hiring SeeD?" "That's what I'm going to find out..." Squall finished.
The Garden hadn't moved much since the day before so it didn't take long to get to the destination. Upon arrival, Squall stepped out and headed into the ruins where he indeed ran into a Tonberry. The Tonberry crept closer, but Squall, trusting the letter, didn't even draw his weapon. As the Tonberry reached stabbing range, Squall reached for the letter and handed it out to the Tonberry, "This letter informed me to give this to one of you." The Tonberry put down his lantern, took the letter, read it, and then looked up at Squall, "You are here to see Lord Guile..." The Tonberry tucked the letter away, picked up his lantern, and turned, "Follow me, I'll take you to him." They reached the stairway leading upward into the ruins, but as Squall started to get impatient with the Tonberry's slow pace and started to go up, the Tonberry responded, "Not that way! Don't get impatient with me, I can easily overpower you..." The Tonberry touched the glowing rail of the stairs, and out of nowhere, stairs going downward appeared at the base, "Now follow me, and don't rush ahead." After a bit of walking down, they reached the base of the whole ruins, and there the Tonberry pushed in a bit of the wall at the base and the central portion of the wall opened up into an elevator, "Step inside, we are going down." Squall was starting to get annoyed by the little green monster, "How much further til we get to this 'Guile' person?" The Tonberry gave Squall a disgusted look, "Not much further..." It seemed he was getting just as annoyed with Squall. As they exited the elevator at its stop, they entered a wide, surprisingly well-lit hallway. "Go into the double-doors at the end, and do NOT enter any of the rooms along the way there." and with that said, the Tonberry closed the elevator door and went back up, trapping Squall down in the hall. Squall, not really paying attention to the other doors, headed straight for the end of the hall, halfway eager to meet this 'Guile' character, almost impressed that he seemed to be able to control the Tonberries to his will despite the nature of the Tonberry that guided him down. Squall reached the end of the hall, opened the doors, and entered the room.
"W... w... w... wel... come... Sk... Sk... Skw... all." A strange voice greeted Squall, as a chill filled the air, "Are you the one called 'Guile'? How do you know my name?" Unlike the hallway, the room was rather dark. Squall drew his gunblade as he could not see anything inside. "N... n... no... ne~ed.. f... f... forrrrr... vi... o... lense..." The voice responded, "Fo... forrrr... give... my... sp... spe~ech... I h... have... lit... tle... n... naw... lij... of... yourrrr... lang... gu... ages... prrrro... nuns... yash... un..." As the voice spoke, Squall's eyes adjusted enough to notice a lantern hanging from the ceiling, "Do you mind if I light that lantern? I can't see you." "G... go... a... hed..." Squall cast a fire on the lantern. As the room brightened, Squall looked at the voice's origin. To his shock, he saw a white dragon glaring at him. "Yoo... arrrre... surrrr... prrrrised? I... am... get... ting... bet... terrrr... as... I prrrrobe... yourrrr... mind." "You are probing my mind? Stay out of there, my mind is not your business." Squall rebuked. "Do... not... worrrry... It... is... not... honorrrr... able... to vi~ew... perrrr... sonal... tho... ots. I will... not... everrrr... do... such... thing." the dragon replied with an unchanged expression from when Squall first saw him. Squall, though still annoyed by the fact that this beast was probing his mind, decided to stay quiet... The dragon fell silent as well.
After about an hour, Squall was getting restless, but then the dragon spoke up again, "Now how is this? Forgive me for my language issue, we all speak the old language here... I only knew of the spelling and meaning of your words... And then there is the issue of it being impossible to probe a Tonberry's mind." The dragon quieted for a moment, "You had asked me something when you had entered, I don't recall what, but I didn't understand what you said at that moment as my learning of your language's pronunciation was just starting. I would have learned it from that child in the forest, but I felt something approaching that I didn't care to meet." An irritated Squall decided to repeat the questions from before, "Are you Guile? You answered my other question when you told me you were probing my mind." "Yes, I am Guile." the dragon answered, "I chose that name because it looked decent in your language, and now that I hear it in your language, it sounds all the more fitting." Squall, now lost, "What do you mean? Why couldn't you get the Tonberries to teach you the pronunciation? And if you chose the name before you heard it, why'd you choose it? How did you know that that was even a name?" Guile responded quickly, "I didn't know it was a name, I knew it was a word... I really don't know why it called out to me, as it means 'deceit'. I am quite the opposite of deceptive. As for the Tonberries, they learn, they guard, they tend to my general needs. Even though I onced ruled them, this is their property, I must respect them as much as they respect me, and I did not want to trouble them with such a task as teaching me my ABC's." Squall was about to ask about Guile's comment about once ruling over Tonberries when a scream distracted him, "That sounds like..." Hearing gunshots, Squall rushed and opened the doors to see Laguna and a few Esthar officials face to face with a blue-colored Malboro. "Oh no," Guile sighed, "He opened a door that he shouldn't have." Squall rushed into the fray...

[Car after leaving Winhill]
"Sir? Are you sure you wish to use "The Machine"? It has not be-"
"Yes... If there is any chance he is in danger... Yes I have made up my mind." Laguna said after interupting the driver.
"Alright then. Next stop, Esthar." The driver said as he stepped on the gas.
[Esthar Presidential Building]
"Sir, the preporations are underway. When do you wish to go through with this?" One of the Esthar Official's asked.
"Immeadiatly, when the preporations are complete I wish to know. I will be in my office." Laguna replied as he left. When he reached his office he walked over to his desk and hit a button hidden in a paperweight. Upon pressing the hidden button the front of his desk opened to reveal a hidden compartment. He reached inside and withdrew an old Machine Gun... His old weapon from his time in the Galbadian Army. He sat down at his desk and sat his machine gun on the top of his desk. He picked up another picture, this picture was different then that of his beloved Raine. This one was of a young man he met several years ago, though he's known of him for this man's whole life. It was a picture of Squall Leonhart, his s-
"Sir!" One of the Officials, the same one that had interupted him in Winhill burst through the door. "The preporations are compleate, please come with me sir." Laguna sat the picture down and slung his machine gun over his shoulder as he followed the official out the door.
[Esthar Mechanical Department]
Laguna walked through sliding doors into a room the size of an indoor stadium. In the middle of the room was a giant tower-like structure. Around the structure were several different scientists checking the machine for safety purposes, one of them walked up to Laguna upon seeing him.
"Sir," the scientist motioned for Laguna to follow him. They walked over to a table where Laguna was briefed about what to do once inside and then told to step inside.
When inside a voice came on over a P.A. system. "Alright sir, we will be starting. Please take your place." Laguna placed his feet where he was supposed to and held on to a bar overhead. He heard a hissing sound as he saw gas leak in through a vent in the floor. In moments the gas filled the room, Laguna breathed in and the last thing he could remember before blanking out was the whir of the mechanics...
[Later]
After being taken down the elevater in Centra Ruins, Laguna and a few Esthar officials walked down the hall with Laguna checking each door. Laguna stopped at a door and started to open it when,
"Sir, are you sure thats the right door the Tonberry said-"
"Yes, I'm sure. I don't need any green frog with a flashlight telling me what to do." Laguna interupted an Esthar official. When the official gave him a look of doubt Laguna laughed, "What!? Do you doubt my navagational skills? Trust me, this is the right door."
So Laguna continued to open the door and walked in, the Esthar officials following at a close distance.
"Hmm... It's pretty dark in here... Ahh here we go." Laguna said as he found a lanturn hanging on the wall. One of the officials walked over and cast Fire on it where in lighting the one lanturn the whole room lit up with lanturns all over the wall. When his eyes adjusted to the brightness from the flames Laguna found himself standing face to face with quite a large... Blue colored Malboro. He let out a surprised scream and whipped his Machine gun around following up by shooting several bullets at the oddly colored Malboro. Laguna jumped back as the officials took out their weapons a door beside them burst open reveiling Squall, just who Laguna had been looking for. Squall took out his gunblade and jumped into the fray along with Laguna and the officials. After a few minutes of slashing and shooting the Malboro was down.
Laguna turned and looked at Squall and smiled. This smile was cut short by a sudden pain in his right leg. Ouch... Damn it...Laguna mumbled as he hobbled over to the corner and sat down on the ground.
Damn leg cramps... I guess that machine brought back the good things... and the bad... Laguna thought as he massaged his leg.

Squall had just sheathed his gunblade when the Malboro got up again and used its Bad Breath, devastating the party. Squall started to get dizzy, and he could feel his skin hardening. "Damn, I thought it was dead!" He half yelled as he reached into his pockets hoping to grab a remedy, with no such luck. He grabbed a soft potion and injected it into himself. As his dizziness remained, he could at least feel the skin-hardening fading. He saw Laguna in the corner, holding onto his leg. Squall managed to right himself and tossed a remedy over to Laguna, and then injected the Esthar officials with remedies. A bit more time had passed, and the Malboro didn't seem to want to die. Squall had let off a few adrenaline-lined Lion Heart assaults, and Laguna his Desperado, but nothing seemed to be working, and both Squall and Laguna were down to their last remedies, as well as the others in the fray. "He's too strong! How are we going to get out of this?!" One of the officials was starting to really panic, truly starting to realize the threat of the situation, despite having some of the strongest fighters known among them. Squall wasn't any happier, but still did a good job of keeping his cool, "Just keep focused, he can't have much left in him." As he said this, he remembered he had a Scan spell left. Squall cast Scan on the Malboro, he stood still as information of the creature's being flooded into his mind, and then the summary of all the information appeared as text within:
"Malboro Lord Known to play dead when its victims fight back, the strongest of the Malboros is not to be taken lightly. It has a high intelligence and a resiliance that nothing can match. Absorb: Poison, Water Immune: Fire, Earth"
As the scan information vanished from his mind, Squall had a chill come over him, How can we defeat such a monster? We've been fighting for what feels like an hour... "We've got a real problem, this thing is still in its peak." Of, course it is." A voice came from the hallway. Guile walked into the fray on two legs. This surprised Squall, as Guile was lying down before like a quadroped would lie. In his claws, he held an enormous axe, "This thing was in here for a reason. The door could only be opened from the outside, and we should bring the beast out further into the hall now that its out... It's about time this thing should cease to be." As the party ran further out into the hall, the Malboro followed. "Curaga II!" Guile exclaimed, and as a white light surrounded them, the party recovered a bit of their strength, "Now let's get this fight started."

Upon the start of the second round, Laguna motioned the last of the Esthar Officials (two being all that was left) to follow him around to the back of Malboro. Laguna and the officials ducked and weaved through the tenticals of the Master Malboro. Laguna just missing getting whipped in the head with a slimey blue tendril only by tripping on his own foot and rolling to safety. Laguna looked over to Squall and noticed him rolling his eyes. He had just made a fool of himself.
"Alright Let's take him down!" Yelled Laguna as he shot several bullets into the Malboro's slimey skin.
The two remaining Officials took out a couple pistols each and started their attack, jumping out of the way of the tendrils attacking them. Laguna pulled off a Desperado attack. One of the Officials was knocked against the hallway wall from one of the Malboro's attacks. It was down to two on each side now.

"Aura!" Guile cast Aura on Squall as he somehow parried a tentacle with the broad end of the axe, then proceeded to chop at it, utterly missing. He then cast Aura on Laguna. Squall followed Guile's actions appropriately with a Renzokuken assault, gracefully slashing and avoiding the tentacles and acid sprays... He was unable to follow up the assault with a finish.

After being cast upon with Aura, Laguna emptied out a few rounds from his machine gun, cutting holes in the Malboro turning him to swiss. "Haha, that's right. Worked like a charm, huh..What!?" After being shot constently by Laguna, the holes in the Malboro's skin filled in where Laguna had shot them. "What the!? What do we do?" Laguna looked around He found a S-Bomb that must have fallen off of one of the officials in battle. He picked it up and launched it at the Malboro and yelled "Duck!" as he jumped behind an open door.
The S-Bomb exploded and the entire hallway was engulfed in smoke. "Squall!?" Laguna yelled through the smoke.

"What a moron." Squall coughed and couldn't see anything, "Doesn't he realize that Malboros don't have eyes?" Squall cast an Aero spell and cleared out the smoke into a ventilation shaft. As he did that, a well placed tentacle thwapped him over the head, knocking him out cold. "That can't feel good..." Guile rushed in at the Malboro, axe already in motion building speed, and caught it right down the middle. Guile ran back away in time to see it reform to its original shape. "But neither can that." He then shouted out in a tongue noone could understand. "Life!" Guile cast Life on Squall. As Squall got up with a splitting headache, He started another Renzokuken assault... He failed to follow it with a finish. "Damn!" he cried, as Guile cast a Cure spell on him.

Laguna peeked out from behind the door just in time to see Squall get thwapped by one of the Malboro's tendrils and knocked unconcious.
"Squall!" Laguna yelled as he ran out, his machine gun at the ready. His finger was just about to pull the trigger when the Malboro suddenly was split down the middle by Guile's mighty axe. "Whoa... I guess thats it then?" Laguna started to let down his weapon when he saw the two halves of the Malboro move towards eachother sprouting tendrils where it was cut and connect itself back to it's original form. "s**t... I guess not..." As the Malboro started it's attack again he heard a yell in some unknown tongue and then a flash of light as he looked passed the Malboro at Squall stepping up again. Laguna watched as Squall attacked the Malboro with his Renzokuken attack which was cut short when he had to move out of the way from an attack by a Malboro tendril.
Laguna shot a grappling hook up to the roof and grabbed on swinging overhead of the Malboro, dropping a grenade next to it. While swinging Laguna blasted off a Desperado attack and jumped off landing next to Squall and Guile.
"Let's finish this thing!" Laguna yelled as he took aim with Squall on his left and Guile on his Right.

"I can't cast many more spells, so we'd better finish this," Guile started as Laguna landed between Squall and him, "otherwise... we may not make it out." Squall cast Meltdown on the Malboro, "That should speed things up!" he said as the Malboro turned a tender pinkish color from the searing non-elemental heat. As Squall rushed in for another attack, Guile cast Aura on himself, and then readied himself for his "Will of Luna" skills... "Lunar Combo!" Guile rushed at the Malboro dodging the acid sprays and tentacles, all the while spinning his axe with a speed that almost made the axe blur. As he reached the Malboro, he chopped at it once, then again in another direction keeping the spin, as he turned, he kicked the beast then hit it with his tail, chopping it again at the base as he again faced the monster, then chopped at it once more, jumped onto the lower lip of the Malboro's mouth, and kick-jumped back to the position of Squall and Laguna. Despite the beating it took however, it just reformed itself. "Don't let the reforming fool you, it doesn't mean it isn't taking damage!" Guile said, as if to keep the moral up. Squall continued to fight, as if he didn't even see the beating Guile had given to the Malboro...

Laguna watched in awe as Guile excecuted his Luna Combo. After all of Guile's slashing and thrashing was over Laguna readied himself for a special attack but was interupted by Squall jumping into the heat of battle. If they would just move out of the way...Laguna thought as he readied himself to attack from afar. As soon as Squall had finished his flurry of attacks Laguna yelled, "Squall! Guile! Get behind me!" When Guile and Squall were safely behind him, Laguna focused his inner energy and then yelled. {Dark Messenger} Then the hallway faded into darkness, the Malboro faded in towards the middle. A large black liquid orb decended from above and deposited a demonic creature into the open. He reaches into the sky and charges the massive orb with gravity energy and slams it on top of the Malboro. The demonic creature looks down upon the Malboro and grins his evil grin before fadeing away into nothing. The hallway fades back to it's original state. "Thanks, Diablos" Laguna says after returning. "Now Squall, finish this!" He yells as he points towards the Malboro.

"Diablos? He still exists?" Guile looked surprised, "Now isn't the time... Let us continue beating this demon!" Guile paused, "This is the last spell I'll be able to cast... Resist!" Guile cast Resist on the party, "It is about due for another Bad Breath attack, and this will keep us immune, but unfortunately, it will also block any beneficial support spells." Squall, pondering this spell he never heard of before, kept assaulting the Malboro, and sure enough, it used another Bad Breath attack. This time, however, noone felt sick in any way. "Well, I guess this guile-thing is worth trusting, for now anyway." Squall said quietly to himself. The party continues to attack the Malboro Lord for about ten more minutes, when the elevator opened on the other side of them. "It is about time you guys showed up." Guile said as three Tonberries stepped out of the elevator. "Don't be so cocky, Lord Guile." One of the Tonberries started, "You should know better than to pick a fight with our ancestors' work." The Tonberries then started to focus, and each released the soul-crushing attack 'Everyone's Grudge.' The Malboro let out a horrible cry as it fell to the ground. "My, what a workout that was." Guile sighed, "I feel much more awake now." Squall had a little smirk on his face, but it faded shortly after it appeared from his lack of understanding of the situation... Who is this thing? What was that we just fought? Why is Laguna here? Questions ran through Squall's mind, questions that would be answered in time. Guile went to the Tonberries, said something the Squall and Laguna couldn't hear or understand, then he turned to Laguna, "Who are you, and what were you doing controlling Diablos?"
