The library was built when the first of the cities occupants settled underground to escape from prosicution. It started out small with collection and has been readily growing. The oldest books date back to the first kingdom above ground up to present titles from authors of this time and age.
The Library recently expanded it's walls to encompass a small book shop which gives the library a little extra income to help pay for the matience of the building along with the employees of the Library.
When you first enter the library you will notice large collmns built in the wall leading you to the front desk a large polished oak deask with intricate designs represnting the different types of physics found within the city. From here you can either ask the receptionist some questions or you can continue on to the first or second floor of book lined floors. The Second floor is your non-fictional and research matieral books while your first floor is the fictional and kid books.
The library is kept lit by a pyromaster. Said Pyromaster must be able to control the flames and keep sparks from starting fires. So far no mishaps have happened and there have been no fires.
Through out the floors you will find tables, coaches and chairs. These are provided for the use of the library goers.
To check out books you must register with the receptionist and present your card to the receptionist.

Tobi walked in the front doors and the receptionist, a kind girl by the name of Shelia waved to him. She carried on a one sided conversation with him as she gathered the returned books on his cart so that he could take them to their shelves. He nodds to her and gives her a simple smile and begin his task.

After several shours at the library Tobi's shift was over. He took to the streets just as the lamp lighters were out lighting the street lights. He smiled to one man who gave him a little wave. He was headed home.

Today's work was laborious, he worked at the front desk checking books in and out. When lunch rolled around he took the break gladly and reluctantly went back to the desk when break was over. But luckily the rest of the day went by quickly and he was eventually on his way back home.
