Hey everyone. I apologize for taking so long. I'm getting closer to finishing the main role play for the guild. I'm here to ask you all for your opinion as to how we should do battle here. The faster we all come up with a way to do this, the sooner we can get to role playing.

Why not just stick with what FFTA has? There's a mechanics guide on Gamefaqs (won't let me link to it ^^; ) that has just about everything.

I know about that. Gamefaqs is my second home. But if we do things that way, everyone will have to keep track of their own stats. I've worked on the rp some more, tell me what you all think so far.

I'm not as think as you dumb I am. 
MEEPSTAR *AGREES* Why not give everyone say, 40 skill points. They can use it for Agility(Speed/Evasion), Intelligence(Magic), Dexterity(Aim), Strength, Defense, and Magical Defense. I've got a fairly-ok idea. I'll post it later.

'Kay, so having 100 out of 100 agility=100% chance of evading someone who has 0 Dexterity, 99% chance of 1 Dexterity, 98% chance of 2 dexterity, and so on until if someone has 90+ Dexterity, they still only have a 90 percent chance of making it. Similiar for the Intelligence and Magical Defence. Similiar for the Strength and Defense.

That's a great way of calculating hits and turns and such. But what about damage? There's all these different weapons and stregnths and such. I don't see it.

Damage=50% Strength, 50% Weapon. Kay, so you have 23 Strength and a weapon that gives a +15 Strength bonus. You get 38 Strength in total. Subtract that from the persons armor bonus and defense, then multiply it by two.
