Sky appeared with him and looked around. She choked and coughed on the air, not use to being above ground. It'd been 500 years here since she'd last seen it. "Where's here?" She knew it wasn't the feline kingdom...

She smiled. "At least you have the chance of getting out. I can't leave the underground lest someone took me..."

"You have only but to ask lady sky." he let his arm slip to have his hand grasp hers. "This world is so vastly different then ours, he said. Of course you know that, but in the time you were gone it has changed. Would you like to get reaquainted?"

"Reaquainted?" She shrank back, curling up in his arms. A nice little fear of sudden change crept into her and decided to make itself a little home. Her hand grasped his and she felt a little more sure of herself. "It's definitely not home...Where are we?"

"Definitely not where I'm from. Must be new." She looked at the park and beyond it's boundaries to its buildings. They were not the styles of old, of what she was use to.

Jareth appeared in front of Sky and Damian. He glanced at Damien and winced, remembering the last time they had been together. He closed his eyes and looked at Sky. He had growing circle under his eyes, and the small wrinkes he normaly hid with glamor were showing. He looked at Sky pleadingly, visably exhausted.
"Sky I need your help. A girl wished away her cousin and won't go and get her. She doesn't know anything about us or the Underground, and I've never explained it before." Jareth sighed and ran his fingers through his hair, which was starting to show the number of times he had done that. "Please could you help??" Jareth looked at Damien. "You could come too..." He said in a weary voice.

Sky blinked, staring at her master. "Whoa...You look like hell was beaten into you." She remarked on his appearance before her focused more. "A girl wish her cousin away, won't retrieve and the cousin has no idea of the labyrinth?"
She shook her head. This was new. A girl not knowing of the story. She glanced at Damien, gave him a small smile. "I'm sorry..." she said before standing on tip toe and kissing his cheek. She turned back to her master. "Care to lead the way? I can't guarentee I can explain much....but I can try." She slipped her hand into her master's.

Jareth nodded and looked at Damien. "I am sorry I have disturbed your time together." He said and closed his eyes. He took Sky's hand, her familiar presence and sent reasuring to him, giving him strength. He took Damien's hand and touched the palm. When he took his hand away, a crystal lay in the cat's palm. "Thats where we are." He said and vanished with Sky.

Damien blinked a couple times; looking down at the crystal he gave it a few throws into the air before chucking it into the pond. It gave a light plop and sank beneath the rippling dark depths.

Damien began walking down a small cement pathway; he was shielded from the darkness so he believed he was safe from ogling eyes.
He wasn’t quite sure why he threw that crystal into the pond and then again he did for he felt mixed emotions and thoughts churning within and unfortunately his anger was finding its only escape towards Jareth.
The reason had crossed his mind only briefly but he felt he hadn’t studied it in depth. In all truth he was quite jealous of Jareth’s ties to the Aboveground. His strengths and weaknesses, his lure to human woman, both him and Damien seemed to have a taste for. And they flocked to him seeing their dreams within his gaze. He sighed closing his eyes walking slower as he continued blindly onwards. Jareth, though Damien knew better, was perceived as a powerful and artful man. His witty come backs and veiled threats alone made Damien jealous. He wished to be that strong. His heart cried out to be but when it came to the presentation his mind screamed “pain” and so he cowered back in fear.
But he knew Jareth had skeletons in his closet as well which made a contradictory to Damien’s passion of rage. He felt selfish with his hurting and self loathing. Though he was sour to Jareth it wasn’t right to push all the pain onto him. His mind wandered back to Aven’s look as she was embraced by Jareth. They had found soothing and love to one another. And that he realized is what was most important. His jealousy of feeling as though Jareth was stealing those he cared about from him, dissipated. It was never intentional.
Damien longed to see that heartfelt gaze towards himself one day and he was waiting so long to give it in return. But with his misfit earlier he knew he must find his own wounds and fix them before moving on. He didn’t wish the unveiling of his dark side upon anyone.
This brought him to Sky.
His eyelashes fluttered open to gaze at the moon through a curtain of willow branches just across the long stretched pond. It pained him knowing he was hurting her. He had told her to wait for him. He frowned. Wait for what? To make up his mind? What was he doing? Guilt poured from his heart at the thought of Sky. He never wanted to see her unhappy, he never did. And he grasped that he indeed did love her……but truth be told, he realized…..it was only that. Love for her. Love like the love for his sisters and brother. The love he felt towards his mother. She was family. His best friend. He could never be in love with her, by now it was impossible with the years they had led

Damien let a hiss of pain as he realized with surprise his nails had grown an inch and were digging deep within the palms of his hands. The blood dripped slothfully down his arm as he held the wounds to the light giving him a sudden fascination for the crimson life force. The world around him was dull and lifeless comparde to this wondrous attraction until his ears happened to pick up the low beatings of guitar strings plucked with skill and grace. Damien fallowed the sound, licking a few stains of red from his nails which he retracted as he settled his sight on other things.
Murmuring of words mingled amongst the mournful string beats. He didn’t know why his emotions where so bendable but he fell into a calming mood almost groggy. The song was beautiful but sad, and the voice was smooth, almost feminine, but he knew it belonged to a male. The dialect was best defined as Irish, Damien’s eyes soon laid upon a figure leaning against a large old oak. Their back grooving and seeming to melt within the large old trees shadows, magic caught his senses.
His tail twitched, was this an Underground being who slipped through the cracks to venture within the Aboveground? He tried to peer closer though his night vision was even poor to the dark silhouette. The person must have realized the intrusion at that time for the song was abruptly cut short.
“Who’s there?” came a whisper. The voice was soothing surprisingly. Damien promptly walked up to the person and kneeled before them. Ice blue eyes stared up to his gold. This being couldn’t be human with such brilliant eyes.
“I could ask you the same thing… You are of Underground no? Why are you up in the Aboveground playing such a mournful song?” The being must have seen his different colored eyes and his ears for he shrank back quickly.
“Look I don’t have any mone- did you just say Underground and abov-” Damien’s eyes furled in question. Was this person afraid of him?
“Truly if you are being fallowed by someone I am not of their order.” He held out his hand. “Please what is your name?” The person seemed to hesitate before grasping Damien’s hand. Damien then realized then as the person jerked away he had forgotten his bleeding wounds.
“Did you kill someone!?” distress filled their voice. “Look like I said I have nothing.”
Damien sighed hiding his hands beneath folds of clothing. “No I did not kill someone…” He backed away. “See I will not hurt you.” After a moment of silent the person stood pressing against the tree, the instrument left upon the ground forgotten. A ray of light fell upon the beings face showing just a quick glimpse of the person. Strait soft locks of purple, oval dreaming eyes of icy blue hue; soft pale skin with plump rosy lips. He gasped stepping back. Was this a female after all? Dressed in black pajama bottoms and a white shirt Alexander walked slowly backwards keeping an eye on Damien.
“Look Jareth came to me when I wished away my cousin….and I was stupid enough to say I didn’t want to save him.” His eyes widened. “Who are you?” Damien’s ears and tail caught his attention causing him to step back even more in fright. “Are you some kind of messenger? Did he tell you to come and throw me in an oubliette?” Alex hated being alone and even more so to be trapped in a place with no light.
Damien seen his skittish behavior and was tempted to grab the boy and hold him down to calm him. But he reframed, for now. “No,” he cocked his head to the side raising a brow, “How do you know of- you wished away your child tonight then…..What is your name boy. No I am not his messenger, I am of another court within the Underground.” He got an idea. “If you wish to ask the King for a reconsideration of your offer then come with me.”
The boy looked at him dumb founded. Yes a boy, Damien looked to his frame. He was in the glow of the moon so Damien could see his small slender frame. He could very easily pass as a woman though, he noted, smiling to himself.
“I don’t even know you, how do I know you know Jareth?”
Damien looked to the pond, sighing he cursed himself for throwing it into the depths. He blinked and then suddenly smiled to the pond. Ah I see thank you. He turned to Alex, “let me show you.” Turning he walked back knowing just by curiousness the boy would fallow. And he did. Winding through a few trees making it seem far more mystifying then it was he stopped at the edge and knelt down. “Come here and let me show you.” Alex attentively came forward, his guitar in hand. He bent down slightly.
“What he said just above a whisper.”
“Watch,” Damien held out his hand, a few moments of silence laced through the darkness before a pale object was spotted. At first small it soon became larger as it surfaced closer to the water. Alex gasped as a clammy hand emerged from the water with a crystal. “Ah thank you very much.” He reached out for it only to frown and reframe. He seemed to be the only one that heard the voice for Alex looked at him with confusion. “You want something in return.” He thought a moment before replying. “Why not have a liquid to quench your thirst you have not tasted?” he chuckled wearily rolling up his bloodied cuffs to promptly plop his hands within the water. “You have never tasted such yes?” The white object came close and ran a slimy tongue against one of the wounds. “Yes you like that do you not?” Beady black eyes peeking through a mat of long green tresses emerged from the water. Bubbles sounded as their hand stuck out of the water. “Thank you again.” He whispered standing. The head slowly sank beneath the water.
Damien turned to Alex and showed him the crystal. “Jareth gave this to me personally.” Alex was not staring at him though, his horrified eyes stared passed him towards the bankment. Splashing and dragging was heard. Turning Damien jumped back to find the creature dragging itself upon the shore. Its upper half took on the shape of a human the other a fish. Much like a mermaid though its face was very pale and instead of a nose was two slights much like a snake. Clumped pieces of green hair entangled with water grasses hid most of its hideous face. Those glassy black eyes looked at them eerily. It wanted more. Damien hissed and grabbed Alex’s petrified body. Looking coldly to the fish creature he disappeared.
