I read that he was born in Bossier, Louisianna . . . .
Anyway, here's some more facts you may or may not have known about Jared.
Jared is 5'9" tall, a vegitarian, has a dog named Judas( 3nodding ), and loves popcorn, veggies, and hot chocolate(I like hot chocolate!!!). While filming Requiem for a Dream, he gave up sex for two months and starved himself, losing 28 pounds to be skinny enough for the role as Harry. (poor baby crying ) For his new movie, Chapter 27, he gained 62 pounds, but lost it all after the movie was finished by going on an all liquid diet consisting of lemon juice, maple syrup, cayanne pepper, and water. He lost 20 lbs in 10 days. (daaaamn . . . )
He has been in the following movies: Lonely Hearts - 2006(must find!!!) Lord of War - 2005(Vitaly!!! NOOOOOOOOOooooooooo, my poor heroine addicted Vitaly!!!!! gonk crying gonk ) Alexander - 2004( heart Go Hephaistian!) Panic Room - 2002 Highway - 2002(Shannon's in it too somewhere) Sol Goode - 2001(Shannon was in it too as background chary) Sunset Strip - 2000 Requiem for a Dream - 2000(Depressing as hell, but damn good) American Psycho - 2000 Girl, Interrupted - 1999 Fight Club - 1999 Black and White - 1999 Urban Legend - 1998 Switchback - 1997 Prefontaine - 1997
and the T.V. show, My So Called Life, and a few others that I didn't write down because they weren't very big roles. I haven't seen most of these anyway, but it is my goal to see every single one of them.
In many of his movies, Jared ends up disfigured or injured in some way. In Fight Club, he is beaten beyond recognition. In Alexander, he aquires many scars and injuries before eventually dying painfully. In American Psycho, he is hacked to death by an ax. In Requiem for a Dream, he is a heroine addict that has to get his gangrenious arm amputated. In Panic Room, he is badly burned. And in Lord Of War, he is shot to death by his own brother(played by Nic Cage). Jared also explained in an interview that he likes to play out-of-the-ordinary characters because it's fun, and he enjoys the challenge.

Nice info! I can't come up with anything now... but I do have a correction. In Lord of War Jared was shot to death by the guards of the gang leader Nic Cage was making a weapon deal with. Vitaly knew what the what the weapons were going to be used for (the senseless killing of a small village) and attempted to destroy the cargo. He managed to destoy half of the weapons but was shot down by the gang members before he could destory the rest. Poor Vit...

Yeah, you're right. I remember now, but it pissed me off because in essence, Vitaly was killed by his brother because Cage's character didn't listen to his brother and back out of the deal. And then he walked off while poor Vitaly was dying!!!!!!! scream gonk stressed scream gonk stressed crying crying crying

I just watched Lord of War again today... I cried so hard and I was yelling "Nic! You're such an a*****e!" over and over. Ooh... Jared often corrects interviewers and such when they are talking about the Echelon. He insists that they refer to us as "family" rather than "fans". Ooh... and J played all of the instruments on the first 30 album other than the drums.

Yay for talented Jared.
It isn't healthy for him to be gaining and losing weight so quick. Damn it made me sick as a dog. So I stopped. Stupid society.
Anyways, I read the book Fight Club and I can just imagine what the movie would be like. -shiver- Poor Jared.
Jared and being disfigured in movies is like Brendon (from Panic! at the Disco) being the center of bad jokes. Like the Fall Out Boy prank and the water bottle... Poor Jared and Brendon

I'm sure most of you know this already, but some people had some confusion about it since Jared is a very good liar. xD
Yes, he is the one that created The Kill video. He created the concept of using the Shining, and I do believe he directed it. Batholemew Cubbins (sp?) Doesn't exist except for in Dr. Suess books.
What a humble guy haha. Or just goofy, but I could go with both.
