R.I.P Steve Irwin, otherwise known as 'The Crocadile Hunter' We will all miss you..
Yes, this is coming as shocking news to Cho, a favoured enviormentalist has passed away. This thread to is for a memorial of him... Post pictures, or tell us your funny stories about him... anything... let us remember the good times...
*tears*
If anyone is wondering the big question 'How?' Here is your answer, he died while shooting scenes for his newest documentary "Worlds Deadliest", he was poked by a stingray. Which is said not to be fatal but it was his bad luck that he was poked right through his rib cage and it hit him in the heart....

They had a big memorial thingy on Discovery Channel where they showed all the episodes and a movies in a row. It went on for hours.
I'm pretty sure his funeral was showed mostly on T.V my friend was telling me about the speech his daughter gave at the ceremony.

i'm still stunned that it was a stingray, and not a gator/croc. o.o;
that's what really gets me.

i think i had to tell my dad three times how Irwin died.(he's so forgetful!) but, yeah, anyways.....i've heard australia is going to make a statue of him or something for all that he has done for the animal world. and i agree with you hiaki, i thought he'll die by an offensive move, not a defense one eek
