Ashlee Simpson dumps boyfriend for Fall Out Boy’s Pete Wentz

She might not yet be confirming her relationship with Pete Wentz, but Ashlee Simpson has confirmed she’s dumped her boyfriend Braxton Olita.
Ashlee and Braxton, the guitarist in her backing band, started dating earlier this year - much to Ashlee’s father Joe’s annoyance.
But now Ashlee’s spokesperson has confirmed: “[They] broke up about a week ago. They decided to take a break.”
A source close to Ashlee told Us Weekly magazine that Ashlee “has been telling everyone that she’s over Braxton” and that Wentz too has finished his relationship with Buffy star Michelle Trachtenberg.
Ashlee and Pete were spotted kissing in a New York nightclub at the weekend, with Ashlee reportedly straddling Pete at one point.
