The prices of the enchanted trunk has gone up... are they becoming rarer? I think all of you should be fairly active on gaia, any sign of getting less rares than usual?

Have you been affected by the glitch when you got tons of rares? If so its probably because you were used to getting them all the time, and now its back to normal. They are random afterall. Although I haven't gotten any in a while either, but they do that.
As for the price ups in the marketplace, I think its just people trying to inflate the prices of the rares/uncommons. Look at all the rare/uncommon items, they are way overpriced. I don't see why their inflating them though, they aren't investments or limiteds.

I don't see why their inflating them though, they aren't investments or limiteds. Thats the wierd thing, if it is an artificial inflation then the rares are normal if its a real inflation , then the admins have decreased the amount of rares going around... I dunno... you think its artifical yeah?

I've been getting events every 2-3 days before May, but I don't think it was a glitch because it's been like that since February (I did not get the glitch where people get like 10-15 a day). But ever since the rollback I haven't had one. That's quite normal I guess, considering there's people who don't get events in months.
Appreciation of rares are predictable as soon as the 04s went nuts. They're "real" in a sense that I don't believe there's a deliberate plan behind it (unlike some donation items like Angelic Pendant and Kitsune Mask). It's just people reacting to the donation items artificial inflation and think "hey, if everything's going up, why don't I rise my prices?".

Well... I would have to agree with Aristeia in that I believe this could be a real increase as well. For one, I haven't had any random events since the rollback. However I do recall having 12 or more in a couple hours during the glitch period. It's been quite the juxtaposition ever since. neutral

To mee they've always been rare, and now they're just getting rarer. I've been on Gaia since November 8th and i have gotten 3pl's and 3et's ... and today a few mins ago) i got my first bb... so yeah... they're rare for me... and i am on quite a bit (mostly on MPL and in the exchange) .....

My only events I've ever gotten were in the first few days I was on Gaia. I haven't gotten any since then except during the glitch period. However, my first random event was my NM headband so I guess it's ok. xd
Also...Can random events be recieved in the marketplace?

Well, I've seen a definate decreas of NM Headbands in the marketplace. There used to be at least a dozen, but now I only see two or three of them in there at a time!
I think Random Events have slown down, even if the glitchy period hadn't occured.

Events are random. I was talking with someone about this not to long ago. We both came to the conclusion, the more users on gaia the less chance of getting one. I have noticed that the more users that have come onto gaia, the less chance I have had at getting one. Now, I am a hardcore exchanger, I am in the forums alot of my online time, which has been alot lately. I have gotten 2 trunks, a pink link, and two blue giftboxes. Since mid-April.
Chances are if people are like me. They open their trunks and boxes. Hell it was free anyways might as well see if you can get an item you like. Then if its something like a face viel or flower on my head. Something cheap and not worth trying to sell. Just sell it back to the store.
So that would cut on alot of events going into the circulation on the market.
My overall thoughts is they are actually increasing at now a steady rate.
