Shirogane frowned as readings came here and there, and not just the stray alien monster they had been trying to clean up for the last year... No. One of them was back.
Why? He wasn't sure... and a further scan outside the hemisphere showed many more on their way.
Letting out a ragged breath, he ran his hand through the blonde tussled hair, it had become unkept through the constant brushes of it as he and Keiichiro had tried ot decipher if the information they were receiving was right.
He let out a small curse under his breath as Keiichiro turned to confirm there were no errors, again. Turning on his heels towards the phone.
"Where are you going?" the other man piped in, though he knew where he felt it good for the girls to let Ryou pause before he went after them.
"To get Tokyo mew mew back..." Shirogane answered half heartedly. This wasn't supposed to happen...

Ryou stood in the familiar "breifing room" awaiting the arrival of the 5 women. He seemed irritated, and wether it was because they hadn't been there the instant he called, or some other reason no one would know. Except maybe keiichiro...
"How is the project "mew squared" going?" He kicked a foot against the floor, breaking the awkward silence.
((OOC: Everyone has all of saterday to respond, after that you will be wrote off as late. >3 Or you can not show up at all and have Ryou track you down. ))

Stopping to catch her breath Retasu looked up at the Cafe Mew Mew. How long had it been? Still breating quickly she straightened her glasses, gaining the nerve to enter the building. That call from Ryou had been quite sudden and startling, she was more then just a little worried. Taking one more breath she hurried into the Cafe.
"Hello? Ryou! Is everything alright?" Retasu exclaimed in a worrying tone as she spotted Ryou in the briefing room. She thought he seemed quite irratated, and anxious. Something was obviously wrong.

Ryou_Shirogane Ichigo's cell phone would ring then, being the first on Ryou's list to call... she was the "leader" afterall. However, as the first his frustration hadn't let down just yet.
Wether she answered or not, the responce was the same. "Ichigo Momomiya, It's Shirogane. We need you to get down to the breifing room this instant..." he paused shifting irritably "And don't be late for once..." he shot at her, abruptly hanging up the phone. Ichigo had almost fallen down when she heard Ryou's voice. Her cell phone had rung while she was outside, but the girl hadn't made it in time to catch the call. But the message was bad, regardless of the fact that it meant she had something to do that day. What am I supposed to do? It wasn't as though Shirogane would just leave her alone if she didn't go. And it had to be important for him to call her -after all, it wasn't a daily occasion to have the leader of the Mew Mew project and her boss call her. "Jerk..." She said to his last comment. Maybe she'd actually be the first one there. That would show him. So she was off, going toward the Cafe as quickly as she could.
It didn't take her an incredibly long time to get there. Even if the large building seemed closed, it never was. Not really, anyway. Keiichiro and Ryou were always there, doing something that involved science that she didn't even want to try to understand. With a few quick steps, she was at the front door, then on her way toward the room Shirogane had told her to go to. It looked really lonesome and creepy without any people in it... Whenever she'd gone before, it was usually for work. And at least 6 other people were there with her. At the moment, she was all alone, and she was going to stay that way until she got to the briefing room. And so she continued until she finally made it to her destination. She stepped inside quietly, though there were many things that she wanted to say/yell at Ryou. With a quick glance around, she saw both Retasu and Ryou. "Hi!" She said with a short wave to her fellow Mew. There was a slight disappointment in knowing that she hadn't been first, but she continued. "What's going on?" Not even a hello for him, as if it was so urgent, then maybe they should just get to the point.
It looked like her vacation was over.

((Whee. I haven't done TMM roleplaying in the longest time))
Minto had been enjoying her freedom from being a super heroine, really. No fighting annoying aliens, no pesky Chimera Anima, just peace and quiet and relative calm. The bird Mew had been free to live her life, and, as it was now, was not all too amused at the voicemail left on her cell. Still, she was bound to a non-existant contract that pretty much declared that as long as she was a magical girl, the Lorikeet Mew was going to have to rise to the call to save the planet when it needed saving.
Besides, it wouldn't hurt to see everyone again.
Stepping into the basement lab, the blue haired teen tried to look cross as she glanced around at the others.
"Well? What is it?"

Zakuro breezed through the familiar door, hair streaming behind her. She was, as usual, in a fashioable outfit and didn't appear hurried in the least. The reclusive Mew took her time doing things. She really didn't have anyone to answer to but herself.
The wolf Mew had been so cinvced that her pwoers would have ended with their mission - but that didn't seem the case. She remembered being told her strange, identifing marking would vanish once the aliens had been defeat once and for all, but it was still there.
She pushed open the basement door and glanced at the occupants. Retasu, Ichigo and Minto so far. No sign of Purrin. Absently running a hand through her hair, she searched out Shrigane.
When she spoke it was calm and collected. " What's going on ? You should feel lucky that I wasn't working today. Not that I like having my free time infringed upon. "

Shirogane stayed silent as the girls one by one entered the room, only seconds and minutes seperating them from eachother's arrivals... He chose not to answere the question each of them asked.
He had offered Retasu a small smile, Ichigo a raise of his brow... How strange, her gettng there before most of the others. He gave a glance to Minto, and the same to Zakuro.
He stayed silent a moment more before the pressure of the girl's impatient and curious stares forced something out of him. "Wer're waiting on Purrin..." he answered simply, almost aggitated that they needed an answere at all.
But alas.. There was no purrin. He glanced at his watch and shook his head, "Alright." He gave a brush of his hair, moving foreward to direct the 4 out of 5 girls. "I will speak to purrin seperatly." If it was anyone else he might have been tiffed, but Purrin definatly had her reasons. Somewhere in the back of his mind he felt sorry for her... Sympathetic to her missing parents.
He took a deep breath, looking suddennly annoid as he went on to the point of why they were there. "The aliens... Well. Alien, is back. 24 hours ago he landed, and has not dissapered since. Not a Kimera anima... an ALIEN." he frowned, an alien couldn't be up to any good. And the rest of their data only furthered his beleif.
Swallowing hard, he turned away from the girls, gestering to the screen as Keiichiro brought up the points of where the alien readings had come up. "He landed in the ocean here..." he gestured to the first red dot. "And then other spottings have been around the forests of Tokyo."
There was a dramatic pause, before he spoke again, cutting anyone off who might have tried to speak. "This is not the worst part." The next screen came up, a picture of earth from space-view. "Using a satelite, we've foudn more readings... Smaller ones, we're not sure WHAT they are but there are alot of them." the screen switched to a 2-D picture, showing red dots scattered outside of earth.
Spinning back to face the girls with an expectant cold stare, he finished simply "There is another invasion. And we're outnumbered."

Ichigo returned Shirogane's strange look with a piercing glare before turning to the others with a smile. "Nice to see you again, everyone!" Well, almost everyone, anyway. Where could Purrin be? Maybe she got lost in the halls somewhere, or maybe she was too busy with her siblings to listen to her messages. Regardless of the reason, she wasn't there. And that made the room much less cheerful. She might have been what they needed, after all, considering the bad news that Ryou had.
She stopped breathing for a moment. "What?" Was all she could say. It was definitely a good thing that she had been sitting that time, because unlike when he called her, she would have fallen. There were so many small dots... And each one of them seemed another promise of a very bad return from vacation. They should have known something along the lines of this would happen, even when Kisshu had seemed to be set straight. "Can we tell who the first alien to land was?" She finally said. It was probably their leader, considering he came first. But then again, if he was just wandering around... What was going on up there? And more importantly...
"What are we going to do about it?"
She wasn't about to fall down and give up while the earth was invaded again. Just because she wanted to run around screaming madly didn't mean she was actually going to. But she was getting close, that was for sure.

((Oh and there is no real posting order now. >o> Anyone else will just icly be wrote off as standing there quietly... XD If you have something that you have to do, feel free to shove it in there as like "While he spoke to ichigo she interupted with blahblahblah" and stuff. :3 I want it to go pretty fast though. X3))
Shirogane shook his head, "It's undetermined... Though readings indicate he's not as strong as our old enimies. Perhaps it's a new one all together." He gave a light shrug, hardly caring who it was. "Though I do suggest everyone heading down to the sight to check it out. Even before they never stayed in reading range as long as this one has. He could be up to something."
And ther it was, the question he was waiting for. "We.. Or moreso, you, will be fighting whatever these Aliens can bring out." He allowed for a dramatic pause, hoping to make his tiny bit of good news seem much grander than it was. "However... It won't just be five against thousands." He might have smiled if perhaps they weren't facing such serious danger."We've developed a new program, more advanced than the one you were originaly shot with. We've worked out a few.. bugs." he gave a glance to Ichigo, he didn't need to be running around kissing more young women as a cat... It was so many levels of wrong. "The new program, Mew squared, is made to select a wider range of DNA. While the powers may be slightly lacking compared to the "originals", we will be able to recruit you a lot more allies... Even males, if all goes well."
As he finished, he turned straight back to Ichigo with the utmost of serious looks. While he always tried to give himself the leverage to keep them all forced to work here... Any of them could turn and leave if they wanted... And then everyone would be utterly screwed. "But.. My question is, what are you, Mew Ichigo, going to do about it?" He broke eye contact with her, looking over the other mews as if to ask them the same question.

Each little red dot on the screen was something. Something that didn't belong here, but desperately wanted to. Zakuro stood quietly, taking in the information. If the aliens were back, that meant things on their own planet were getting worse. Or were they just ready to try again ? But Deep Blue was gone ...
It must be hard, she thought, living on a planet that can't support it's own race. Not that Earth was that far away from being in such a state. And when that time came, would they be any better than these aliens ?
As Shirgane spoke, she began to relize that this fight would be harder than the last one. Maybe having new Mews would help, but if they weren't going to be as powerful as the original group, that meant they porably couldnt' fight alone.
It was a lot to take in a very short time. It seemed as if her vacation was over, and she was back to being a Mew, and it sounded like a much more full time job this time around.

Ichigo nodded quietly. They'd be the ones who had to find out. She was getting an incredibly bad feeling from all of this -not that she wasn't supposed to. Maybe if they were lucky enough, they would be able to get the aliens to believe her about living together with the humans instead of trying to destroy them. But it had been hard enough to just get one alien to think she was right -and he was biased to begin with. So, would it even be possible this time around? She could only hope.
They'd have help. She sighed loudly with relief. It was a good thing for them, but what about the people that would be turning into Mews? Things would change so dramatically for them... Just as they had for the first set of Mews. But if they didn't, then everyone would probably die. It was a hard choice, to say the least. But she knew that in the end, there was really only one option. "Then we'll have to find them, just like last time." Except it would most likely be on a much wider scale then before. At least the first time, she'd only needed to locate 4 others. Who knew how many people Shirogane would have to use...
Ichigo just looked back at him. There was no doubt in her mind what she was going to do. This would save Masaya. This would save her classmates. This would save the entire world, at least from the threat of aliens. She stood up and held her fist to her heart. "I don't know about the rest of you, but I'm not going to stop before we're through!" The two of them had a taste for the dramatic, to say the least.

Sitting quietly listening, Retatsu tried to soak in and figure out what had just been said. Looking back at the radar sceen she gave a start realizing just how many dots there were "So every one of these dots are aliens?"
Feeling slightly shocked she listened to Ryou, Ichigo, and Zakuro. More help, that would be good... but it would be hard to find all of them unless, "Do we have a new way to find the mew mews, or is it just the same as before?"
"I agree with Ichigo. I'm not going to quite until this is all over and done with!" Retatsu said giving a quick grin to the pink haired girl.

Shirogane watched as the two took the bait, along with Zakuro and Minto's silence... Though that had been expected for the most part. He should have smiled ot their responces... But there was nothing to smile about. This just meant more danger for tokyo, the world... But moreso, for the 4 girls infront of him.. and that one back at home, probably takign care of her siblings.
He was met with a sharp pang of guilt, hidden under a cold stare and a nod. "Good." he said simply, "Theres not much more we can do as far as the finding goes.. However we've installed a camera to hopefully take a decent picture of the new mews so you can spot them easier."
He paused a moment, running over the checklist in his mind and giving a glance over the girls. "If there are no more questions, you're all dismissed. Except you, Ichigo... I need you to go to the spot where we saw the alien most recently and scout it. See what he's is up to." He held his hand back expectantly, almost immediatly getting a paper with direction to the spot from Keiichiro and passing it foreward to the girl. "Masha can help too..."
With that he leaned back, looking eager to run of finto solitude again, however he lingered... waiting to see if there were any questions he needed to respond to.

Ichigo returned Retasu's smile. Even if Zakuro and Minto hadn't told her their response, at least they were still there. She was getting excited, slightly scared, and it felt as though she were about to explode. This time around, things would definitely be insane, annoying, and extremely hard -but that didn't mean something as small as that would make them stop. They had a mission, and that was it. They'd have to find the other Mews fast, once Ryou injected them. Who knew what the aliens would do if they found the humans first. That was something that she did not want -not for anyone.
Dismissed... Just like in school. And of course, they'd have to juggle everything with school and relationships. "All right." She nodded and looked at the paper, although now, she was thinking more of Masaya. What would happen to him during all this. Even with Deep Blue gone, she'd protect him. The directions seemed easy enough to follow. But without a doubt, she'd get lost somewhere along it and have to find her way out. At least she had Masha's help.
