In the City of Noilybab, a sect of rogue vampires are begining to raise up dark and ancient beings. The other vampires that control the city don't really like this sort of chaos amongst their cattle of humans. Especially since they can't live while their cattle are being killed. They have come to the disicion to hire two of the top notch Demon/Vampire hunters the Catholic Church has to offer. These hunters don't really like taking orders from that which they usually hunt, but inferalists take a higher priority than these Vampires.
The city is devided into four Territories in which one Vampire Clan rules over. The central park of the city is a neutural ground for them, where they can hold meetings and discuss buisness plans to lure new human families into their city.
The Clans
Daemaniske
Also known as the Soul Devourers. This clan of vampires has mastered the dicipline of possestion. Their physical bodies are but skelletons with a certain Ruby ring or necklace that remains in its coffin most of the time. They do, however, roam about the city in their ethreal form. This form can not pass though any form of fire or it will break their blood Ruby. If their blood ruby is shattered, their soul diminishes into the depths of Hell - powerless to escape. Their symbol is a red circle.
Fitholos
Also known as the Emotion Leeches. Fitholi are commonly known as manipulators in the city. By draining a person of one emotion that person recieves the exact opposite emotion. This clan has come up with a unique item that they can choose to wear, Spirit Masks. With these on, the Fitholos can effect entire armies - but instead of feeding themselves, they feed others thus draining themselves nearly to true death. The Fitholi have no emothion of their own. Their Symbol is a red 'drama' mask.
Drakulus
The most widely known and talked about bloodline. The Drakulus feed on the blood of the living. Though they are the most common in the city, they have a unique skill. When they drain anyone of their life they essentially learn and gain everything their victim knew and had. They must feed more often than the other clans (every 10 days), they must feed every 3 days or go into a blind rage. They can only feed during the Witching Hour (3 am - 6 am). Their symbol is a red tear drop.
Grengel
Known as the Shifters. The Shifters can assume the form of any animal they feed on. Thats right - they don't feed on humans they feed on animals. They can go without feeding for two more days than the average vampire but come closer to death when they reach their last day to feed. Know that when they assume the form of the animal it is somewhat.. Demented. Some have said that they can take the shape of demons - but thats just a rumor. Their symbol is a red claw.

Powers/Abilities/Whatever else
The common traits of every vampire are outlined here. Some races are stronger in one of these basic abilites than others. Every vampire has these following statistics.
Extra Strength
Being undead, you really can't feel the pain of the shreaded muscle fiber when you lift things that humans can't lift. Think of your character being permenantly on Acid (Don't you dare try that crap). Think of the strength of a younger Arnold Schwartzeneger (..sp..?) as being the weakest Vampire known (his piddley name was 'Melvin the Meek' smile ). An average vampire can lift four times that Melvin the Meek could and those of the Drakulus clan can lift ten times that Melvin could (One of the MAIN reasons they have to feed so much.)
Extra Speed
You see that Bullet? Yeah, you can go WAY faster than that. Lets take the slowest vampire (Sam the Slug) who can travel just as fast as a bullet and an average vampire can go four times as fast as 'ol sam. Those of the Grengel clan can go ten times as fast as Sam. : he never could dodge those pesky 'holy water' bullets.
Extra Jump
Dude. Superman was actually a vampire. No building is high enough for you to leap over (though.. I don't see why you would do that.) Lets take Stanley the Stone, He could only clear a three story house. an average vampire does that from hic-ups (ate too much) so lets say an average vamp can do ten times that and those of the Fitholos Clan can just fly around. No need to jump.
Feel left out Daemaniske? Don't you go through walls and can take over people. Tace.
Weaknesses
Thats right. Now that you've seen some of the least your juiced up Vampy can do - now its time to see what he/she can't do. biggrin
LIGHT! GAAHH!
Hah. You see that sun? You better not cause your about to explode. There's a bigger thing to the sun than just being suseptible to those pesky UV rays - God cursed Caine to the point where the sun destroyed him. Caine is your daddy BTW. Vampires like to stay inside because even the light from the moon can harm you. Yup. That sucks huh? Can't even jump over Stanley's corpse. One thing though - alot of clothing (black preferrably) can block those darn rays of light - heck, some Vampires have developed 'Shadow Cloaks' which hide you entirely from the sun's rays. Just know it gets pretty steamy under that thing.
Feed Me
Vampires have the need to feed. The problem is that the curse only allows you to feed during the witching hour. The Witching hour is three hours before sunrise. All vampires will hear is the song that Lilith sang that drew Caine to her. Lilith is your mommy. So rest assured you will know when you can feed. Normal vamps feed every 10 days. The Drakulus have to feed every 3 and the grengel can stretch it to 12. Know that when you resist you mother's song that some strange things will occour. n-n Nope not saying. When it happens >) Your charrie will have to deal with the Story Teller (Me.).
Incest
YOU CAN NOT EAT YOUR OWN KIND. The whole reason you drink from the Living is that you can stay in with life even though you're dead. If you drink from the Undead you will DIE. I don't give a crap what kinda screwed up bloodline you come from, you feed on any other Vampire I'll have ya killed. Besides - you have a whole city yo feast upon! Why piss off another Vampire when you already have enough people chasing you as it is!
Parched?
Bah being a vampire is cool but it comes with alot of crap to balance all the cool stuff out. You have to drink tainted water. 'WTF is Tainted Water?' you ask? Well, its water thats been tainted by your own blood. Take water (other than Holy Water - that stuff hurts.) and put a drop of vampiric blood into it. Doesn't have to be your own. Once that happens stir and drink. You have to do this every five days. biggrin ? Oh? Well that sucks. Yeah well, deal with it.
HOLY CRAP!
Blessings kill you. God PWNs you and anything He says is good in his eyes will certainly hurt you. Know that anything that has 'HOLY' at the begining of it will do serious damage to you. The Drakulus are instantly slayed by anything annointed from God. Others just can't heal a holy wound. You better run if you see an angel. Even if you're a leader they can do wonders with your butt on a hat rack. o-o oh, and watch out for the Holy Handgrenade (*Monty Python poke*).

When someone wants to see your Aura you just make your character make an attempt. If they do succeed (The targeted character decides) they can choose from this list of auar colors to affix the reading.

CHAPTER I: A Reunion AURA = GOLD / RED / LIGHT BLUE Paul closed the door to the taxi. He looked up at the tall overly fancy building infront of him. He looked at his slip of paper and nodded,
"This is the place alright," He turned to his apprientice, "Hey, you got everything?"
He looked around with is eyes, so many humans here - all cattle for the city's government. Had he not been on a mission to tare apart an infernalistic cult he would've been here to knock out the blood suckers that reigned over the city. All he had to do was meet with the leaders of the four clans here and get the run-down on what's been happening. He turned back to the building, his simple wooden cross that hung from his neck was more of a symbol telling all of what he was than a tool of the trade. Like wearing your country's uniform.
"Alright - lets head in. Try to keep yourself calm, these leeches like to watch your aura and taunt you. The only thing on their mind is their own survival."
He began for the door - stopping to see if his partner was coming.
