Ichigo was less than pleased to be on her own on her first mission since getting back from vacation. Everything seemed to be starting over again, though... At first she was on her own, but at least now she could always have someone to call in case something went wrong. But the tips were from reliable sources -at least, Shirogane had said so- so everything should go smoothly. Funny thing, though. Nothing ever went as she planned. But the cat-girl continued following the directions to where people had said they'd spotted the alien wandering around. But could they be at least a little less vague?

It felt as though she were wandering in circles. But if she got really lost, she could always hop up a tree to find where she was. Now, the girl was looking normal. There was no reason to give the people who lived around the area any more reasons to worry. An alien was bad enough, but seeing a Mew around would just confirm their fears. She took a quick glance back. That tree looks familiar... No, no, she was just getting paranoid. She wasn't completely out in the open, so it wouldn't be that bad. Anyway, the alien that was sighted might have left -he'd already been there for a long time, after all, so he might have wanted to leave before some trouble popped up. That, or she was falling into a trap with her only backup being a tiny, robotic flying fuzz-ball.

Kisshu, since his arrival, had found a small little sheltered area to camp out... Though it wasn't some fancy cave or the like but moreso a bridge that had been built over a small river... It was mostly for show, a nice place for couples to wander over and listen to the trickle of water. And left enough room for Kisshu to curl up under it for shelter. The area had become scattered in various fruit-remains... Things he'd yoinked from any tree he could find. And one pile of berries he had found out to be poisonous...

Currently, he was laid up under the shelter, sleeping off the remaining nausia the berries had left him with. His hand rested on his stomach as his mouth hung open in a display of being completley out of it. He was in his clothing from before... with one minor alteration to his skin, it was covered in bruises and welts. Most were from before he left home, long slash-like welts from their choice of punishment...The rest resunted from the fact he'd nearly died apon landing.

Infact, If Ichigo were to stumble apon his clearing, he likely wouldn't hear her approach until it was too late. his ears had been damaged in teh dramatic pressure changes Leaving one at a constant ring, and the other simply dulled to sound. Though it had gotten better over the few days, to which he was thankful for... He had been quite happy to discover Pai's actions hadn't resulted in him being deaf.

Nothing there, nor there, nor behind that tree, nor behind that bush. Ichigo had mixed feeling about not being able to find anything. On one hand, she was extremely happy that she hadn't been attacked. But on the other hand, she knew that if the alien wasn't still there, then he might have moved on and gone towards innocent people. That feeling overpowered her happiness, and she continued walking.

Maybe it was by sheer luck that she happened upon the bridge. Or maybe it was because she was running out of areas to search, and decided to take a left somewhere that led her to it. Either way, she began to slowly approach the bridge where the alien lay sleeping.

She leaned over with a short sigh. This was getting her nowhere, but she couldn't give up. Not until every inch of the search area was checked. Just when she was starting to think that maybe she would need to change into her Mew Mew form to search faster, Ichigo spotted something strange peaking out from under her. "Fruit?" She questioned to the rinds below her. Receiving no anser, she leaned over slightly in order to try to find out what was down there. She spotted what she had been looking for, though the only things she saw were the skin with the injuries. Someone down there was badly wounded, and even if it were an alien... She had to help. Jumping down from the bridge -which she'd finally managed to get used to- Ichigo went toward the body. It was only then that she found out who it was. Even with the scars, the half-open mouth, and the abnormal clothing, she recognized him. "Kisshu!"

He had been sleeping in peace for the most part.. not hearing a step or even the light thud when she had jumped down. Normally, yes, he would have been awake far before she had gotten there... How else could he have stolen that first kiss afterall?

But no... Not now. Not until a muffled sound of his noise jolted him awake... He'd been on high alert the past days. out in the open like that, and after nearly dieing... Well. no one could blame him. And in reaction, he jumped. Bolting to a sitting position as yellow eyes opened widely, locking on an all too familiar, unthreatning face. His heart lept into his throat, she'd grown a little... Wow. A year.

The good news was it wasn't pai and Taruto about to stab him.

The bad news was it was Ichigo, the woman he still was infatuated with even after a year... and she was staring at him in probably his weakest state... ever.

He found himself wishing it had been his former friends as his mind started reeling. What was she thinking of him like.. this...? Was she still with that Masaya guy? Had she missed him? Maybe even a little? He scooted back some, "N...Neko-chan..." He greeted with a goofy grin. She was still just as pretty, and he was still just as head over heels. And for a breif moment, dooming his race had been worth it.

She quickly returned to her standing position, as the girl had been leaning over to get a better look at the wounded alien. In his current state, it was unlikely that he would attack her. It was unlikely that he could. And it would be hard to get him out of there, especially considering that the normal humans didn't really love aliens that much because of what happened the last time they came. Neither did she, but Kisshu had saved her. She nodded, making her decision. "We're going to get you some help."

Luckily, Masha was there. It was unlikely that Shirogane would be overly willing to have the alien stay there while he healed, but Ichigo wasn't about to leave him there. They were already in enough trouble as it was. And considering it didn't look like Kisshu was going to be invading anything anytime soon, it would be a good idea to at least try to get him some medical care.

What could she do? If Masaya was there... Well, if he was there, then she wouldn't be half as concerned. He knew First Aid well enough to actually help Kisshu, and she didn't know enough about it to even keep him awake. So she had to keep talking, keep him focused on something, anything that would keep him from nodding off. Once help arrived, things would get better. She would have taken him in herself, but that would probably only make things worse on his wounds. "Kisshu, if it's not to hard, explain to me what happened..." People had seen him around, Ryou had told her. What she hadn't known was that he was seriously injured.

Help? He frowned at her, was it just him or was she talking really softly... Oh right his ears. Damnit Pai... "I don't need help." he crossed his arms with a childish pout... He was perfectly fine. And he was Kisshu... He'd been stabbed through the gut and left to his own and lived anyways, this was nothing, tsh silly human girl.

Wait did that mean she cared if he was okay or not? He broke a smile as she thought, shifting and leering at her playfully. "Ne, Neko-chan cares about my health?" he shifted, making his way out of his little bridge-cave so he could stand and edge ever so close to her. "How sweet. Do i get a get well kiss?" He grinned a bit, ah yes... good ol' Kisshu. It felt nice to find something to joke about.

He lost his grin when she asked him to explain what happend, abruptly frowning. His look almost became dark and hurt, until he shook his head. "I crashed." he answered simply, deciding to spare all other details. "Ship got destroyed... nearly drowned." he bragged, since he'd come out relitivly unharmed considering what a nice crash it had been.

Ichigo disagreed, but there were a few things that she could do in case he didn't want to go. Most of them she didn't like, but she'd make it through them. "Well, you're not staying under a bridge with wounds like these." Didn't the aliens have some sort of... chamber-thing? Why wasn't he in there now? It seemed like a good time to use something like that, since they had the technology. Maybe he couldn't get there while the others weren't on Earth or something.

"I'd give you a get well slap if I didn't think it would actually hurt you for a long time!" He was in good spirits, at least. Definitely better than moments ago, when he was out cold. And even if it had been a year, he hadn't changed a bit. Except for the whole not-trying-to-take-over-the-world-anymore thing. There had been no reports of Kirema Anima that she knew of yet, so Kisshu was behaving.

She was amazed that he'd survived a crash in the water -but more amazed that he'd crashed in the first place. But those were just the questions she kept to herself, as they'd probably be answered in time. It took her a little while to get her real question out, but she finally managed it. "Why are you invading again?" She assumed that he knew what was going on, as there was no news about it on Earth other than what she'd learned before. And it wasn't shaping up so well for any of the humans.

"They're not wounds..." he protested... Just some silly little scratches. And almost all of them had stopped bleeding!

Aw, no kiss... No suprise though. His stomach gurbled to remind him of his ealier mistake of eating those damndable berries... His hand went to his stomach as a side action, keeping his attention mostly on the girl that had stolen his heart.

He was about to resume prodding for some sort of affection, maybe get it out of her that she had missed him or... something. But the quesiton that broke the silence. Invading? He looked baffled... Okay so he was there but he wasn't invading. It seemed like such a harsh word. "I'm not invading..." he gave a mock pout, "I mean.. Yea, sure, I stole some fruit but I thought that was pretty harmless... S'just fruit." His arms crossed as he tried to look insulted... He hardly was, but it was more fun this way. Besides, he thought she was overreacting... so he felt he could too.

Ichigo sighed and shook her head. He was so stubborn! She'd coax him slowly, if needed. But it wasn't as though he would take much to convince. After all, he was probably faking it.

Strangely enough, she found herself comparing Kisshu and Masaya. It wasn't the first time, but this wasn't really the right time to be thinking of it. Masaya... He probably would refuse help, too, just because some of the First Aid she used wasn't good for the environment. It made her smile, considering Kisshu had done it just because he wanted to refuse. They were so different, but there were things that made them so alike.

What? What else could it be that all the aliens were coming for? It definitely wasn't a party, that was for sure. "Kisshu... Did you not know about the thousands of your people following you here?" She'd thought he would at least know why the aliens were coming back, but if he did, he was hiding it pretty well... Something strange was going on here, and everything Shirogane had told the Mews about seemed to be getting twice as worse as it had been before.

It made him happy to see her smile... Made everythign worth it. The whole year, even those times he had grown to try and hate her that picture right there made it all dissolve away. And at the same time it hurt.. That was Masaya's smile, not his... he tried to remind himself that. That was why he had given up after all... So she could smile like that.

Wait.. Thousands... He looked baffled, maybe he hadn't heard her. Yea... "Eh?" his hearing was going. "I thought you said thousands of my people were following him here...But that can't be right... I took our only ship..." they couldnt' be coming, right? And thousands? No, no... he heard her wrong.

The smile had been extremely short-lived, because Ichigo became confused. There were only two things that could be going on: One, Kisshu was lying to her. Or two... He didn't know. It didn't seem like he was lying -even though it was hard to tell with him, as he was usually confusing anyway. So why would he not know?

Probably for the same reason he'd crashed.

Maybe it was because he'd crashed before they could tell him they were on their way? Or... Uh. She was so mixed up and could barely think anymore. "There are thousands of them coming... I've seen images myself." He'd taken their only ship? Then they must have had more that he didn't know about. Some way to get to the ground -a way that was extremely fast, considering how fast they were making their approach. Kisshu didn't look good (not that anyone could look very good while they had been bleeded twice as much as anyone should at one time). He looked confused, which made her head spin even more. WHAT IS GOING ON HERE?
PostPosted: Fri Sep 15, 2006 5:22 am

He had heard her corectly...? His mouth practically hit the ground. He had no idea... He had planned everything. Thought everything through. He'd certiantly had time to... he'd made an excape route, he took the ship... he hadn't counted on crashing it, but he could have rebuilt it once he got it back out of the ocean. It wouldn't have been too hard...

But... this changed everything. He felt dizzy suddenlly, almost overwhelmed. Not to mention his stomach hurt along with everything else on his body... He wasn't sure how she knew that but she had found him so... That was something. So... thousands of his people were coming. How, who knew...

He lost his cheer and goofiness... Leaning back against the side of the bridge. He crossed his arms, staring at the ground in thought.. he needed a few seconds... Think Think...

"They're after me. I don't know how..." the words were a tad soft, as though he didn't want to beleive them. His tone changed abruptly as realization hit him "But you gotta stay away from me." It was more.. desperate? Stern... Forced. Something along those lines. He even threw in a glare to inforce it.
He didn't want to... He wanted to stay around her as much as he could, but he couldn't... Wierd. Before he had to stay around her, try and "kill" her just to protect her... Sure it was strange, but it had worked. But now...

No... it was for the best. He tried to strengthen his glare at her, crossing his arms to add to the affect. Scare her off. It wouldn't exactly be hard considering their history...

There was definitely something she was missing. Of course the aliens were following Kisshu, that was sort of obvious by what she knew. But coming after him? As in hunting him down? What could have happened in a year that would have changed his relationship with the others so much? What had he done to make them so angry as to invade Earth just to catch him? There were definitely too many questions, and not enough answers.

Ichigo followed the scarred alien with her eyes. This was something bad, something very bad. And he was the cause of it. But why? Had he come there just to escape? But why there? It put all the people in danger... Did he really want that. "I'm not leaving you here." She spoke quickly, staying as stern as he was. "We can help, Kisshu. It's possible to stop them." Incredibly hard, but possible. Sort of like trying to stop a giant trail of ants with only a magnifying glass and the sun, but there was a chance that they could do it. It was that chance that kept her going. That chance to save everyone she knew from certain doom.
PostPosted: Fri Sep 15, 2006 8:31 pm

Annoyance swept across his face. This wasn't happening right. This wasn't supposed to happen... He was supposed to come here, not crash, make peace with earth, and then arrange for his people to come here. To live in peace.

Now... he had crashed, earth was being invaded, and there was another war brimming... Worst of all he had put Ichigo in danger.

So... He had one idea. Simple... Push her away. A small smile played across his lips... An all too familiar one, the one that meant he was aboutot attack. He stepped forward... placing a finger under her chin, before abruptly leaning in and locking lips with the girl. he took but a breif second to savor the moment... The closeness. The warmth. Now to lose it all.

He roughly grabbed her shoulders, breaking the kiss. "Be mine, Neko-chan." He cooed, grinning wickedly. He had given up before, to him this was nothing more then mere acting. She was with Masaya now... but this would get rid of her... Then she'd be safe.

It only took a moment for her to go from caring about whether he got help to wanting him as far away as possible. Ichigo pushed him away, but he'd already gotten what he'd wanted. What was he thinking? "No! Never, no matter how many times you ask!" She put her fists by her sides to prevent herself from tryng to punch him. It was almost an automatic response -even though it'd been a long time since he'd done that.

She started backing away, forgetting completely that she was there to help him. It would probably cause problems later, but at least he wasn't a part of the invasion. She wasn't sure if that was a good thing or a bad thing, though. If he had known about it, then they might be able to ask him for some information. But because it hadn't been planned before, there was nothing he could tell her. But he was there, and for a little while, she had been happy to see him -even in his nearly-dead state. So she ran, not knowing what to do. She wasn't about to fight him, even if he was a complete jerk and a pervert.
