I've run into this constant mental problem whenever I'm with friends. I've told my best friends that I'm a lesbian, but haven't really told the deeper meaning of that. What I mean to say to them is that I am identified as lesbian because I strongly lean towards females more so than males, but I do not doubt the chance of falling in love with a male. However, they take it as I'm completely done with guys and they can fall off the planet of my world. - -;
Yes, I am not as attracted to males as females by a long shot, but because I haven't had as much experience (I have no other way of putting it) with males in relationships, the chances of ending up with a male are possible. However, I would not advently chase a male unless I REALLY REALLY like him. >.>
So, anyone else run into this? ^^; Discuss the meaning of sexuality whether it's meant to be to the extreme (ie: if you're homosexual it strictly means loving the same sex) or can it be flexible (ie: you identify with homosexual, but there are some tweaks). If need be, clarify your sexuality, too. :] And if anything else comes up pertaining this topic, go for it and let's discuss!

I think it can be flexible. I call myself a lesbian, but there is the occassional guy that I will say is hot or something like that. I have been known to be infatuated with male celebrities and stuff, and some of them are still kinda hanging in my head. But I'd really only date a girl.

I like some girls, but I still like guys. I'm not sure if I'd date a girl because my family is very homophobic and I wouldn't want them against me. I mean I've toyed with the idea of dating a girl or seeing a girl, I'd stick with a girl if I needed someone, but like I said before, I also like guys.

I think alot of people can be attractive in their own way... but not everyone because alot of people have something you really cant get passed. That said, I never put any limits on sexuality... but I could only totally fall for one person in the world... my Ashira. heart

I identify myself as lesbian but once in a while I might think "He's cute!" or something, but dating a guy or anything just doesn't appeal to me at all.

I'm pansexual, I'll do any human on the map so long as they're hot. XD Well, that's kind of a stupid way to summarize it, but it's kinda sorta true.
I'm about 50/50 on girls to guys, and I have girl/guy moods. (Hey, we should set up a rating thing where we can fill that we're, say, 80% gay and 20% straight or something. XD) I'll admit that I'm more aesthetic about the females I crush on--when I think a girl is hot, it's usually aesthetics as well as character, but when I really like or fall for a guy...that's mostly personality.
I greatly prefer gender ambiguity to gender extremity (my thing for tomboys and more feminine guys, har har). If you're hot and I can't really tell what you are, chances are your hotness rating just went up in my book. XD
And if I find out someone I fall in love with is trans, intersexed, or otherwise kind of genderqueer...oh well. I like to believe I'm not the kind of person who'd part with someone over an issue like that.

In my opinion, a straight girl can recognize that another girl is hot, and a straight guy can recognize that in another guy. So why can't a lesbian girl think a guy is hot? I think that if you'd only ever date a girl, with no exceptions, then it makes you a lesbian, and if you'd date either, then you're bi. Maybe you lean more to one side than the other, but you're still bi.

Oh, if only there was a WTFIDUNNO answer there... Life would be so simple then. (Clarifying once more, I'm male, despite my avy. If you care, that is.)
Let's see... Gay, not really. I can see when a guy could be attractive, but I have no real desire to go screw a bunch of guys.
Lesbian... no, as I'm not female.
Bi... Again, as with what I said about being gay, I can see a guy as hot, but no carnal desire for them (... I don't even know if I can explain what I think my reason might be, because of the TOS.).
Trans... Sorta not really. I have moments when I'd rather be wearing frilly clothes and *ahem* other accoutrements of the fairer sex, but I don't really see myself as a woman in a man's body.
So I guess I'm straight.
Or perhaps I could go the Eddie Izzard route... and go for "male lesbian."

Hmm, I'm a bit confused about my sexuality.
Well, I think girls are far more attractive than boys. I rarely find any boys attractive (I'll think they're cute if they're small and nerdy ^^). But what I care about most is someone's personality, so I don't pay attention to looks most of the time (well, I do, and I don't... both matter XD), unless I see someone and think, "OH! She is CUTE!" But -- I have no desire to date anyone, unless I REALLY like someone and they like me a lot. If I were to date, I'd want to date girls.
Sexually, I don't care. Right now I'm kind of young (sixteen, and will be seventeen, soon... kind of not young, but whatever), and anything sexual doesn't interest me. But if this was to ever change, I don't want to ever be involved sexually with a boy, since I'm not that attracted to them in the first place, and, well... I really don't want to do that with a male. ^^ I can see myself being sexually interested in females though.
But I don't mind if I fall in love with a male or female. I'd never want to be with a male sexually, but if I love him, and he loves me, it shouldn't matter, as long as we're together. But I'd really rather fall in love with a female. So, I don't care who I fall in love with.... but I'd prefer a girl. XD
So... writing it out and thinking about it... would this make me a lesbian? Or am I asexual, right now? Eep, this kind of stuff confuses me~ XD
