Hey guys, haven't made a thread in a while.

So, the topic of teh thread is, What would you do if you where God for a day?
(Anyone like the bloodhound Gang? Hell Yeah inspired this)

As for me, I'd make everyone a lot more understanding. I think we all need that. But, I'd keep everything pretty much the same. I'd build more Hobo-shelters though X3. And the Bush family would never be.

I'd also make Jake(.~Lu-Bunny~.) wear a man-thong all day, and feed me grapes. X3.

Iunno, I'd make some changes, but I'd also be warry of that I could change the outcome of the world.

I really have no idea. I could say I would do this and do that. But given all that power, I'm not really sure what I would do.

Not so sure, here. Anything one messes with has such broad, far-reaching consequences; how does one know that by messing with something, one isn't creating an even bigger mess further down the road? (would Gore or Kerry really have been a better option? How can we know for sure?) I think that I would use my omnipotent powers to create few innocuous little changes that would, perhaps, make the world a better place. Like, say, giving a certain German boy named Adolf Hitler a Jewish best friend back in 1924. Stuff like that. Of course, to choose such changes, I would have to do quite a bit of time traveling. You know, to choose the best things to change, or to check on the effects of said changes. Rennaisance, Medieval, Victorian, Future....yup. That's what I'd do. mrgreen (Time tourist, that's me!)

What would I do if I was God? That depends. Are you saying what would I do if I was the Christian God as we know Him/Her/It? If I was as God is known now I'd probably not change a thing. I say that because if I was God (as we know Him/Her/It), and I haven't changed a thing up until now, I probably wouldn't change anything *starting* from now. All part of some master plan of sorts, I would guess.

However, if I was myself and had reality bending, omnipotent, toy with mortal lives, powers then I'd do what any writer would do: create a world/worlds in which my characters were real. Maybe not the actual stories/backgrounds themselves (as they would be too cruel), but I would set up the settings, the players, the stage, etc. and then watch events unfold on their own. Mayhaps take seemingly small bit roles in the grander scheme of things.

If I was to change/affect Earth as we know it, and barring just starting everything over, I'd probably make myself some sort of benign CEO of a gigantic corporation, totally unaffiliated with any current large corporations. I'd play by all the rules, and show the world that we can make money without doing damage, and without totally monopolizing everything (including the government). And I do mean I'd play by the rules. I mean, I'd come up with some killer idea (as only God would), profit off of that, start the company, create even more killer ideas, make more money, then start changing the world by creating really affordable electric cars. Then I'd create something of an education system of sorts to try and phase out the tabacco industry, and take care of drugs, and whatever. All through the right system, so I don't make heads explode by just changing things for them. Instead, I'd actively encourage and promote current human ideas for changing the world.

Oh, I know it is! ~sits, looking like he knows everything and is at peace with the world, so not implying anything that might cause random lightning to strike him on the head...whistles innocently~
