I just thought this would be an interesting place to talk about the voice actors of digimon... ya know, who's your favourite, who they play, other anime parts, etc.
For the dubbed Digimon, my favourite voice actor is Steve Blum. I always envied him because he could do different monster voices. That's something I wish I could do. And I loved it when he played Yamaki too.
And for the subbed Digimon, my favourite seiyuu is (C'mon, Ichi-Freak, you SAW it coming) Takeuchi Junko. She does an awesome job is Takuya, I'll tell ya that! XD And Gomamon was ubbah kyoot too.
Anyone else have favourite actors?

I really like Kamiya Hiroshi, and of course I learned of him through the BL SPONGE of Frontier. And Suzumura Ken'ichi~
I really adore Takeuchi Junko, Takuya ^^~

And of course Savers' Hoshi Souichirou and Nojima Hirofumi. oh MAN I really need more Noji-nii stuff T___T~!~~

haha yes so much love for the VA's
for the dub I liked Steve Blum, Joshua Seth, Brian Beacock (as Takato only), Kirby Morrow (Sam/Osamu), Michael Reisz (as Yamato only) and I cant think of any more right now lol
for the Japanese version Hiroshi Kamiya, Kenichi Suzumura, Hoshi Souichirou,
Tomokazu Seki, Hirofumi Nojima, Junko Takeuchi, Romi Paku
haha some VA's where only in 1 or 2 eps but whatever

I usually watch the English dubs of Digimon. My favorite voice actor of all time is Melissa Fahn, who did the voice of Rika. She has done voices in many of my other favorite shows as well. I also really like Steve Blum (Yamaki, Guilmon). He has also done voices in some of my other favorite shows.
They both did voices on Cowboy Bebop.

@ Chumley: Steven Blum did a lot of voices for my favourite shows too. Like Kakujo from Duel Masters. PLus, you can tell if he was in a show (ei.: Shinzo)
@ Nicole: Actually, Michael for me did a lot better as Takuya. He was too ubbah cute to pass up... although he could have dropped the corny puns. XD!

Thats so very disturbing LOL *twitches at thought* I think it may have been the cheesy lines and overacting that made me hate him as Takuya I think he's more suited for a calmer character but I guess thats just me

I couldn't stand most of the Frontier dub in general, but I definitely prefered Michael Riesz's Matt over his Takuya.. XD Just that smooth voice... Kuwaaa......~~~
Combined with Joshua Seth's Tai... ah, those two.... ^^;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;;

I'd say my fav VA on Digimon is Kouichi, VA being Crispin Freeman, he does a lot of other characters, for example Commander Holland (Eureka 7) and Ebisu (Naruto) though I don't like those other two characters much XD

Junko owns me. I really like her because she makes characters fun. And Paku Romi too. Suzumura-san is my favorite though. heart Especially when he's singing. There are others I like too. Neemon's seiyuu is perfect and if weren't for him I definetly wouldn't like the character as much. As for the dub, I like Tai's VA and Gabumon's is good sometimes. And I'd have to agree, Takuya's VA is way better as Yamato even though they don't sound that much different. Most of the others bug me though especially in the Frontier dub.

@_@ Kazuya Nakai's voice for Gaomon threw me off when I first heard him but I still love his voice. I really like Kazuya Nakai. sweatdrop
