I got my first blue box today,
and i was windering if i should sell it (why/why not)
or open it (why/why not)?

I would sell it, as the item you get will most likely be worth less than what you could sell the box for.
However, since you got it for free you might want to open it because you could get a very expensive item, and you wouldn't be out anything if you got a crappy item.

i always open my boxes, because it's nice to know gaia gave you a free item. ^ ^
and since it's your first i would most definatly.

Business-wise my advice would be to sell it for the reasons that Nyroc explained.
If you do the statistical analysis, it's best to sell now instead of gambling on an expensive item. Afterall, it could turn out to be a Dried Grass Skirt (sellback 0g). sweatdrop
