It does that to me alot... I just shut it down and pull up the world again...
It's a pain.

I click new and try and make a new account but it just stays on connected sending account information

evil stressed this is freaking annoying! I downloaded and installed it, but the godforsaken thing is stuck on the "Connected, sending login info" screen crying
